Great Lake front cabin with lots of amenities. Boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, hot tub- kept our family of five, including 3 teenagers occupied for days. Love the addition of the gas fire pit on the porch off the living room- started and ended every day out there, watching and listening to all the lake has to offer. Great trail running right from east shore drive. We loved it! We will be back!

Thanks for letting us stay at your place. The place was beautiful. Private feeling and with lots of stuff to do at the cottage and on the water. Great place to bring your dogs as well!

This place is so cute! the perfect winter getaway. Jessica was very gracious with check out during a storm, it really put our minds at ease. We really want to see this place in the summer, so we already booked our dates!

We had an awesome stay at Dawn's cabin! The place is really quiet and private. Even if the place doesn't have electricity and water everything you need is there such as water bottles, snacks, kitchen supplies, BBQ with gaz, wood, pans, candles and chargeable lights, blankets etc. Also we were there to celebrate my birthday and Dawn was really thoughtful by placing some cupcakes for our arrival. Self check-in was also really smooth and well indicated. I totally recommend you to book there. It was such a good weekend to reload our batteries away from the city. Thank you!

We had an excellent stay in the A-Frame. It is peaceful, cosy, thoughtfully-appointed and incredibly well-laid out. Rachel is very friendly, helpful, and responsive.

Great place lots of room for big families to enjoy

Diego was super responsive at all times with clear instructions on how everything worked. He was also very considerate, knowing it was our anniversary, and offered to meet us there or not in case we wanted privacy. Very accommodating, and since there wasn't anyone there the day before, was okay with us checking in an hour early! The nature around us was great if you like to see animals. The same can be said for spiders though. Probably not the best location if you're severely arachnophobic, though the cabin did come stocked with means to dispose of spiders. The cabin was decent, but Diego as the host is what sets this one apart. Will recommend!

Don's quaint, rustic cottage in a very private setting was just what we were looking for. It's perfect for a couple. For late October, the colours were still glorious, and the space was cozy. Don was very kind, and he even left a card and some treats in the fridge for us in honour of our anniversary. If you're looking to disconnect and find some tranquility, this is the place!

This is a lovely place to stay! Mary-Beth is an excellent host. The cabin has great amenities which makes it a very comfortable place to stay. I’d definitely stay here again!

As advertised- rustic! Well worn but clean. Of course there were bugs (no, not bedbugs) because you’re in an area with a healthy and vibrant ecosystem. You should probably expect that. Don’t leave the door open and lights on. There was always a nice cool breeze coming in from the lake that kept the mosquitos away. Not for everyone but very similar to what you’ll find if you keep going into Canada and rent a remote cabin. Very beautiful surroundings and the area is peaceful and quiet. Stunning sunrises and sunsets as well as good fishing and birdwatching right from the marina shore. Nice natural swimming area as well- the water felt great. Viola was very responsive to my questions and I saw her walking around and working hard the whole time we were there. Very pet and family friendly as well, we enjoyed relaxing there for a couple days.

This is a fantastic property. If you are looking for a secluded cabin with modern touches & amenities, look no further. The cabin is perched on a small knoll overlooking scenic Grass Lake, giving it what might be the most scenic view of the whole lake! Clean, comfortable and inviting. This cabin is recently built, has a ton of character, and is well cared for. Tony was very accommodating at check-in and check-out. As this place is "off the grid", it does require that you understand how to use a generator and gas lights....not that difficult, but worth knowing up front. Tony will show you how to manage. If my crew gets back to the 1000 Islands Area, we'll be disappointed if we can't again spend time at Forever Wild Camp.

This Airbnb is just like the photos. Cozy quaint and cute. The 70s retro bathroom brings you back into time. It was a lot of fun and worth the stay.

we had such a great time staying at the cabin on Grasse River. came for a family reunion and so glad we had this little getaway. It was close to town, yet secluded, quiet and full of foliage. The kayaks were awesome to take out and kitchen had all the amenities to cook which was awesome. Can't wait to come back!

We loved our stay at "A Little Cabin in the Woods" in February 2025! Nice and secluded with a wonderful view from the front porch and fire pit area, which is where we cooked one of our suppers! Can't beat fire cooking! The drive from Canada was easy and we especially liked seeing both farm animals (chickens and goats) and wildlife (deer) on the road to the cabin! If you're looking to unwind and disconnect, this is the place to go! We'll be back!

Great cabin for a fishing trip! Ample parking for numerous boats and trailers. Great location to the lake. The AC keeps the house cool. Jeff was great at communicating and easy booking. We definitely will stay here again

The place is ideal--sheltered by pine trees, the cabin sits on a bluff overlooking the expansive lake and the view is unbeatable. It was lovely to gaze out the window and watch the boats or, closer to home, at least five or six types of birds visiting the nearby feeder. Inside has a rustic feel combined with cozy decorations. Everything is comfortable and designed to make you feel at home, with great touches such as a hammock and spare Igloos. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and silverware; an up-to-date coffee maker, microwave, and toaster oven fulfilled our needs. No WiFi (as warned) but the cells worked fine and it was fun watching DVDs instead of channel surfing. Close to A-Bay, and a short drive to Clayton and Cape Vincent--I felt that everything was in reach if needed. A true private retreat. Hope to return.
