This really was a beautiful stay. We were lucky enough to book during a full moon and the sound of the wildlife plus the full moon reflecting off the water made this the most serene and peaceful weekend. The hosts communicated very well, we were left with no questions. This really is the most perfect cottage for a small get away. I would like to stay longer next time to have more time to explore the area. (Jones creek Trail is within 25 minutes and was a great little adventure). Very clean, very friendly, and felt like home.

Came down for a rugby tournament with a group from Kingston ON. This spot was spacious, clean, very nice and up to date. No issues at all! Would love to come back in the summer once the weather is nicer to enjoy the beautiful yard set up they had.

Havre de paix, exactement ce dont nous avions besoin pour notre rencontre d'équipe. La cuisine était bien équipée pour cuisiner tous nos repas. L'entrée et l'accès au spa étaient bien déneigés malgré une accumulation de neige marquée quales jours avant notre arrivée.

Girls weekend here was fantastic! Very comfortable and clean cottage. Beautiful views. Love the large deck, enclosed porch and big kitchen. Would definitely book again.

We had a great family week away at David’s place and as a host he was super helpful. The view from the window/hot-tub/deck was fantastic, shame we could not bring it home with us! The weather was not great for the week, meaning limited time on the lake. We did manage a day on a hired boat, the other days we went on day trips to local towns and Ottawa by train from Brockville. We also did a city cruise of 1000 islands and attended the annual 1000 islands rib fest. The house was well equipped with all we needed for a great family stay and a relaxing week. For a BBQ recommend a trip to “The Butcher Shop”.

We loved our stay with our family and four legged friends! Great location close to our family and easy travel to Elgin for food and Westport for shops and Brewery!

Alison's cottage was one of the most peaceful places we have been to. We spent a weekend there with a couple of friends and since our arrival everything was impeccable! Alison's responsiveness, care, and attention were the best - she was welcoming, flexible and extremely attentive to details. Everything in the cottage was just perfect for a wonderful stay. We will surely come back!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Jay’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The place itself was everything we could have asked for—cozy, beautifully designed, and nestled in a stunningly scenic area with breathtaking views. During our weekend stay, we experienced over a foot of snow, but Jay had already arranged for a plow service in advance, ensuring the driveway was always clear and accessible. Thanks to his careful planning, we had no issues coming and going, which made our stay stress-free and enjoyable. Beyond that, Jay was an exceptional host—communicative, proactive, and incredibly accommodating. He kept us updated throughout our stay and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. This is a beautiful place to stay by the riverb! feels so private and rustic, everything well taken care of, perfect private getaway. Ewa is an AMAZING person. Communicated very clearly, was helpful, and even went out of her way to help us with a car problem. we loved everything about the place and this beautiful island. amazing!

We just loved Hanna’s place! The cottage was exactly as pictured. The kids loved the standup paddle boards and the grandkids loved swimming in the crystal clear water off the dock - yes - in September! We even caught a fair sized bass - right off the dock. We spent a lot of time kayaking the lovely and serene lake. Thanks Hanna for the great experience and the very thoughtful touches everywhere. You have thought of everything 😀. The screened in porch was magical and we enjoyed eating there. We will definitely be back!

We wanted to reconnect as a family before our daughter heads away for a few months of travel and this was the perfect spot. It’s such a beautiful cottage in an incredible location with incredible views. From mornings spent marveling at the sunrise over the lake to walking the trails, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We visited in winter and although we were warned there is no central heat, with the baseboard heaters and a wood burning stove, we were always warm and cozy - even at night. Chris was a great host and would check in on us to ensure we had everything we need. We’re already trying to decide when we can go back!

It was a perfect little place for me to stay for the week. Started out each day going next door to the bakery restaurant for coffee and breakfast. Hosts were on their game. All was good.

We enjoyed the area very much, the amenities that are offered are well maintain and clean. It is very quiet and that's why we enjoyed it, as we were looking for a relaxing place to go.

I stayed at this beautiful cottage with my mom and dog so we could do some hiking in the Frontenac area. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The cottage was exactly what we needed, clean, comfortable and homey. The property was spectacular! Beautiful view of the lake, plenty for space for the dog to run around and explore and a firepit to roast marshmallows and relax under the stars. Overall this was a great place to stay and I will definitely be returning in the future.

We rented this place over the long weekend and just loved it. Robert was a very response host. Everything was perfect. Very spacious place with everything you could possibly need. Very close to town, grocery store and sight seeing. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

We really enjoyed our extended stay here this winter. The cottage is much larger than we expected with two full bathrooms and two large bedrooms that are nicely separated, with a large kitchen space. The pool table provided extra fun for family and friends on cold snowy days. The views out to the river are lovely (even in the winter). The property was very quiet and private making for a relaxing and peaceful escape. The hosts were great to deal with, responded quickly and resolved any issues we had. Merrickville is a short drive away and a great spot to run for lunch or a few groceries. Highly recommend this property!

This was a great spot for our large family to land together while visiting other local family for the holidays. We appreciated the open space and the well-equipped kitchen and laundry. Christine's place was clean and it worked well for our needs! We'd come again for sure.

We loved our stay in Buck Bay. The weather was great and we enjoyed the dock and kayaks that were provided. We will be back!

A wonderful spot to relax and enjoy. The cottage is cozy and filled with all the little extras that make it feel welcoming. We enjoyed the campfire area many evenings and the smoker/BBQ every night! The covered sitting area was a great spot for meals and the hammock for lazy afternoon naps. The shoreline is a bit weedy but there is a raft further out for swimming.

It was a wonderful vacation. Ann’s place was so cozy and comfortable- I would recommend it to anyone. A great way to unplug, relax and enjoy family. Thank you Ann
