This was a perfect little getaway code to home. Was able to enjoy nature and slow down. We will return!

We enjoyed our stay. It is located within five miles of Montauk State Park where you can can spend a day fly fishing for trout or have a nice dinner in the lodge. There are plenty of other outdoor activities such as hiking or canoeing the current river. The cabin is well maintained and has everything you need for a relaxing get away. Tammy, the host, is proactive in providing information and responds quickly to any questions. She even let us in early so we could get out of some storms that were approaching. We would definitely come back for a return visit.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the house. The kitchen was so well stocked, best I’ve seen at a rental house. The location is beautiful, views of the river from the house are amazing. We would definitely stay again!

This is an amazing space! Located off of the highway and tucked away, but only minutes to Steelville, where there are amenities like grocery stores, restaurants and such. For our race team, it was the perfect central base for our activities in Potosi and Salem. The house is large and suits a large family or team quite well. Plenty of spaces to gather, as well as areas where you can have privacy. Well stocked kitchen, which made for easy cooking for our team. The owners are proactive and respond immediately to any requests or questions. They went out of our way to make sure we had what we needed. A fun adventure for us was a tornado warning on a severe thunderstorm, which they immediately checked in on us and helped us through the storm! Amazing! Definitely will be back and hope to book one of their other properties!

A wonderful backup plan and place to stay when our original plans fell through on the first night of our trip. complete opposite of our horrible first night experience at a different place and was very satisfying to get a good rest and be comfortable in our rental Matthew provided.

We were extremely pleased with the house. The 2 boys had very nice rooms, they liked them! Our room was also very nice. It was a quiet neighborhood unlike many other places. Being a separate house there were no close neighbors to hear, especially in the late evening. It was a safe area to go for walks. We were very pleased with everything.

This place was perfect for us, and had everything we needed! The keurig and the drip coffee maker, with plenty of coffee, were nice. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The location was great for our family events in Bonne Terre and Fredericktown. We would definitely stay there again!

I’m glad we stayed at one of Linda’s cabins. She’s an excellent host! We originally rented side A, but I realized after booking that it didn’t have a kitchen, and we planned on cooking most of the 5 nights we were there. She so graciously switched us to side B! The farm is SO beautiful, and thankfully the rain cleared away long enough for my daughter and I to walk one of the trails — even though we had to work around some giant puddles. 😆 It’s seriously so gorgeous! This particular listing is a cabin with 2 sides rented out, and the walls are PAPER thin, so just be aware of that! Definitely no fault to the host, but we could hear a lot of movement next door. I’m sure they could hear us too, though we tried hard to keep our 4-year old contained while indoors. Haha! THANK YOU, Linda! We’d love to come back when the weather is warmer and dryer. Personally, we would choose a single cabin next time, just for a little more space and less stress about our daughter’s crazy activeness. 🤭
