My family of 7 was more comfortable at the Fox and Hen Den than our own home! Too bad Leslie wasn’t in charge of the weather, if she was, I would bet it would have been sunny and perfect the whole time, but since no one can even predict the weather perfectly, let alone control it, Leslie made sure the entertainment within the cabin was accommodating for all interests. All 5 kids 16 to 5 were thoroughly satisfied with time spent indoors here. Unfortunately, a couple of us came down with some sickness, but every possible comfort in the home existed for that too! Not to mention the proximity of modern day needs like Walmart being ten minutes away, which when you see the place is shocking to imagine. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Anytime we return to North Carolina, it would be our first choice to stop here! Thank you for sharing this little piece of paradise with us! ❤️❤️❤️

We had so much fun staying here! It was secluded enough to feel like you were hidden in the woods, but close enough to plenty of things to do. The house had everything you could need and plenty of space for all 8 of us. We truly enjoyed our time at the TREE LoFT.

As a first time off-grid experience, I can’t say enough great things about this cabin! My husband and I were a little anxious but as soon as we arrived, all of those worries melted away. The location is easy to find with their detailed instructions and so secluded that you won’t hear any sounds except nature. We often checked the solar battery to be sure we weren’t overusing energy and ran the generator so at night as instructed (which was very simple). We used the most water washing dishes due to cooking each night but never ran out of water during our stay. We enjoyed exploring the property and relaxing on the back porch the most. It’s the perfect getaway to unplug and spend quality time! Side note: the WiFi did not work during our stay, but the host was quick to respond and inform us they contacted the service provider (even though they were on vacation). We had cell service while in the cabin and this didn’t affect our experience at all since the goal was to enjoy our surroundings

Our stay at the Snookery was wonderful. The house was clean, extremely spacious, and the views were wonderful. Between the hot tub, available fire pit, and the two decks on the back that overlook the mountains, there is enough to do at the house you may not want to leave. Great place for a peaceful getaway. Aaron was very quick to respond to questions we had during our stay. I would 100% rebook if we ever want to return to Asheville.

Tom was extremely responsive any time I reached out to him. The house was spotless when we arrived and has some really great views of the French Broad River as well as some mountains.

The stay was overall good. Brea is an excellent and responsive host. She had plenty of communication before the stay around what to do and where to go. She even brought a humidifier to the house because our daughter was having trouble sleeping. The only downside to the house was it is very small and if you have a small family or multiple people, it is a bit cramped.

We had a lovely visit at Ren's place! The house was very nicely appointed and the setting was very serene and welcoming. The hot tub was great, even in the unseasonably warmer weather. Would definitely visit again!

Jeremy, was probably one of the best hosts we have ever dealt with he was great from the reservation to us locking the door and going home. We tried to book a reservation with him some time in October, but he was fully booked for the month. I will defiantly book a stay with him for next October. The unit was exceptional it was clean fully stocked and the bed was very comfortable. The picture of the view off the back deck in the posting of his property didn't do the view justice it was spectacular. The unit was cozy and so comfortable if you love the views of the mountains, you should give the place serious consideration. Thanks, Jeremy, for a great stay Gary.

Such a charming spot and gorgeous vintage home! The lower level was so perfect for our kids and for cozy movie night. Bob was an excellent host. We’ll return for sure!
