This place was a great getaway from the business of every day life. Host was very responsive, and we would 10/10 stay again. The bathtub on the deck is a great feature after dark, and it’s so quiet and peaceful. Lots of games supplied and the loft is an awesome little nook. The 2PM check in is an awesome addition to get your getaway started early. Almost like having another day

We enjoyed our stay. It is located within five miles of Montauk State Park where you can can spend a day fly fishing for trout or have a nice dinner in the lodge. There are plenty of other outdoor activities such as hiking or canoeing the current river. The cabin is well maintained and has everything you need for a relaxing get away. Tammy, the host, is proactive in providing information and responds quickly to any questions. She even let us in early so we could get out of some storms that were approaching. We would definitely come back for a return visit.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the house. The kitchen was so well stocked, best I’ve seen at a rental house. The location is beautiful, views of the river from the house are amazing. We would definitely stay again!

This place is amazing. There were 6 couples that stayed the weekend and you never felt crowded. In fact there were certain portions of the house we never went into other than to check it out the place is so big

A wonderful backup plan and place to stay when our original plans fell through on the first night of our trip. complete opposite of our horrible first night experience at a different place and was very satisfying to get a good rest and be comfortable in our rental Matthew provided.

The house was beautiful, and it was exactly what we needed. Misty was a great communicator and was friendly and quickly responsive when I had questions or needed to communicate. I was staying here on a school trip with several teenagers for a Student Council Convention when Poplar Bluff was hit by intense storms and tornadoes. The house was perfect and we felt safe and secure in the basement. We had no problems during our stay and will gladly stay again if the opportunity presents itself!

This place was perfect for us, and had everything we needed! The keurig and the drip coffee maker, with plenty of coffee, were nice. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The location was great for our family events in Bonne Terre and Fredericktown. We would definitely stay there again!

I’m glad we stayed at one of Linda’s cabins. She’s an excellent host! We originally rented side A, but I realized after booking that it didn’t have a kitchen, and we planned on cooking most of the 5 nights we were there. She so graciously switched us to side B! The farm is SO beautiful, and thankfully the rain cleared away long enough for my daughter and I to walk one of the trails — even though we had to work around some giant puddles. 😆 It’s seriously so gorgeous! This particular listing is a cabin with 2 sides rented out, and the walls are PAPER thin, so just be aware of that! Definitely no fault to the host, but we could hear a lot of movement next door. I’m sure they could hear us too, though we tried hard to keep our 4-year old contained while indoors. Haha! THANK YOU, Linda! We’d love to come back when the weather is warmer and dryer. Personally, we would choose a single cabin next time, just for a little more space and less stress about our daughter’s crazy activeness. 🤭
