Very generous host even left some bottled water and tea coffee bread etc for us which was so appreciated 🙏🙏 Lovely , big , comfy clean beds, bedding and towels. Great kitchen and dinning area cooked a lovely meal. We really enjoyed our stay thank you once again 🙏🙏

The property is a great place to stay. There were just the two of us and there was so much space. There would be no issues for 4 or 5 people staying. The house is well laid out and had everything we needed (and more). The hot tub was very nice and easy to use. The area is very peaceful and quiet. David is a great host. His instructions were very clear and the house rules are very easy to follow. David made contact in the days running up to the stay with key details and is very friendly and approachable. Overall, this was a great stay in a superb property.

Beautiful lodge, with everything we needed. Amazing place to spend Christmas, so relaxing and just what we needed. Can’t fault anything and would love to return ☺️

This house is as beautiful as looks on the pictures. Very, very clean and tidy, and the decor is very stylish. We loved our stay and would highly recommend. 5 stars for the hosts for this amazing house and thank you again for putting out the birthday banners :)

Had an amazing time with friends at this property, Hot tub was nice and hot, not lukewarm like other places we have been. Very neat and clean

Woow!! All I can say is this place was beautiful! The kids felt at home with the amazing play room. The bedrooms were very clean and smelt lovely. They left us a hamper of breakfast stuff and essentials that are easy to forget at home. I will be booking this place again very soon. I didn't want to leave 😂 Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience.

This was great for us staying here, it was quiet, and the house is so well specked.. it’s right by the Liverpool and Leeds Canal and a short walk into the centre of town. Parking was easy, so if you need to visit or work in Wigan definitely come here.

This place was beautiful. The area was private and peaceful right on the edge of Becon Fell national park so could access a walk within seconds of check in, which we loved. The lodge had everything we needed too it was a home from home. The hosts provided bread milk and fresh eggs too on arrival and they were delicious and such a lovely touch. Beds were really comfortable and all the facilities were great. The hot tub was great too, however it’s quite hard to get started if you’ve not got any experience starting a fire. The owners provide information and a video but we didn’t spot this until several failed attempts. However once it was going it was amazing! And a real perk of the lodge. I would highly recommend this stay.

Beautiful place to stay, everything was perfect! Loved the little extra touches, such as prosecco on arrival, chocolates on the bed and slippers/robes. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Really enjoyed our stay, the views of the lake was peaceful and calming. Only advice I would say is make sure to bring bug spray as once it starts getting dark they’re out in force. But that’s not a complaint as we still loved our stay

A beautiful place to stay away from home , relaxed outside by the lake sitting in the hot tub , a very quite environment with beautiful walkways , will definitely revisit again

Belting little place, situated in the countryside, 200 yards from the nearest pub. Short Ubers into towns! Great place, would recommend.

Absolutely loved our few days stay nice and relaxing can’t wait to return in the summer … Prosecco was a lovely touch also

Excellent lodge. The check in was easy with a key safe code sent via the app. Parking is easy enough - definitely reverse up the driveway though! The lodge was spotless, reasonable WiFi (fine for Netflix etc), the robe and slippers for the hot tub were a nice touch I would have appreciated the ability to turn the hot tub lights on, as it was a bit harsh with just the floodlight on. The area was peaceful, the bed was comfy, there was no noise. Definitely would stay again
