Loved our short stay at the lodge, arrived Boxing Day for 3 nights and it was the perfect getaway to relax after the Christmas chaos. Kids loved the animals and rural setting. The lodge was beautiful and cosy with everything you’d need, including slipper for getting out to the very relaxing hot tub. One tiny bit of advice when driving, it’s a steep hill so I’m really adverse weather you might need a 4x4 to get up the road to the lodge. We would 100% stay there again!

Excellent location for hill walking. Comfortable, clean chalet in quiet rural location, well equipped kitchen for self catering. Comfortable beds and living room, good selection of books and spirits, and good sized bathroom with shower. Fiona was responsive, and provided clear instructions on location, checking in etc.

Had a lovely stay at Elk Lodge. Its location is beautiful, the lodge is warm, comfortable and well equipped. Lots of wildlife to watch.

Words couldn’t begin to describe how much we loved this place. Location was immaculate , one step out the door and you’re in heaven. The views of the charming mountains are just priceless. However, do bring your own essentials such as ingredients to cook as the nearest coop is a 20 min drive away. As for the house itself, everything is complete, everything is clean , I find it hard to leave the house myself 😂. Melanie was the nicest and caring host, she even replied after midnight to help with some questions and her instructions were clear and simple. Overall, 100% would repeat this trip and a deserved 5 star ⭐!

Location was really good being 10 minutes from St Andrews yet still peaceful. Attention to detail was great with oils for cooking, tea bags/milk etc and a bluetooth speaker. Hot tub was perfect temperature and easy to use, we all agreed that this was the best lodge we have stayed at so far.

We had a lovely stay. The lodge was furnished to a high spec. Very comfortable and lovely log fire. Beautiful view looking out over the loch. Although there were other lodges around it felt very quiet and peaceful. Lovely walks and we really enjoyed paddle boarding on the Loch. Thank you Linda for a lovely few days!

The house and setting were both absolutely stunning and we were so close to lots of beautiful walks! The house was so well equipped and had absolutely everything you would need. Would 100% recommend and would love to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay and felt completely comfortable from the very first moment. The accommodation is absolutely dreamy – lovingly decorated, cozy, inviting, and perfectly clean. Everything was spotless, which immediately made us feel at ease. The absolute highlight is the fantastic view of the lake and surrounding mountains – simply breathtaking! Whether enjoying breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening, the view creates truly special moments and invites you to relax. It’s the perfect place to unwind and escape the stress of everyday life. A particularly charming touch were the little squirrels that visited us daily. Watching them scurry about was a real delight – incredibly sweet and a lovely bit of nature. All in all, a stunning place in a beautiful location. We’d love to come back!
