We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful A-frame! The peaceful views and quiet surroundings made it the perfect getaway, and our dog PorkChop felt right at home (always a win!). We especially loved sipping morning coffee on the deck and soaking in the stillness. The beds and linens were super comfy, and the location was ideal—just a quick drive to Wimberley and other Hill Country gems. Our hosts were so sweet and accommodating, making everything easy and welcoming from start to finish. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at Patty's place. The cabin was just the right size for us, had great amenities, and was very comfortable. Outside, the animals and nature were perfect after spending busy days out. We loved having coffee on the veranda in the morning while the kids enjoyed the goats, donkey, and wildlife. Most importantly, Patty made us feel like family. She was so kind and friendly, giving us great recommendations for the kids and showing them around the property. If you are looking for a great place away from it all that is still within driving distance of San Antonio, Austin, and Fredericksburg this is the place to stay at a great price. We hope to be back!

Myra and Colin were so chill and very accommodating for my girlfriends birthday. They put up banners, balloons and even wrote a message as well for her before entering the cabin....she loved everything. We had a tour of the property and fed the zebras, ostrich and donkeys throughout our stay....it was really cool and my girlfriend loves animals...especially, the exotics they had from the eland, wildebeest, oryx and the gazelles. This was a FANTASTIC birthday for my girlfriend and she really had a good time overall. 😊 Thank you very much, Myra and Colin for your hospitality.

We are full-time AirBnBers. Amanda sets a high bar as a host and her properties are our default when we are in the Hill Country. This stay was excellent for its location allowing us to walk to the square and easy town access to Blanco State Park. It’s a nice change to not have to drive and the home is very open and supplied well making it easy to stay for the week we booked. Amanda is a Super Host!

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It was beautifully furnished, very clean, and in a great location that felt peaceful and secluded while still being close to everything we needed.

Nice 1 night stay for the two of us. my husband and I loved walking to the state park and also next door to thd restaurant. The bed was very comfortable and we slept so well. We would stay here again if in the area again

This place is fantastic! Just the walk from parking spot to the house is beautiful. Lots of natural light inside. Beautiful hill country views. Gorgeous sunsets. Quiet and peaceful. This place is a gem. Close enough to Fredericksburg to enjoy shopping and dining. Far enough away to be restful.

We enjoyed our stay. It was right on the river front and the house was exactly as advertised! It was peaceful, and walkable to restaurants and parks. Perfect patio and pet friendly! Thanks Carolyn for a wonderful stay! We will be back!

What a lovely way to get away from the noise of the city and the noise of jobs!! We loved staying at Desert Rose Ranch Container Home! It was so peaceful!! Great Stay!!
