This was a beautiful home right outside of the park - the perfect place for our wedding party to stay. The porch and hot tub area are a nice touch. The kitchen was fully stocked and we found everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again for future trips to Fall Creek Falls.

Great place to stay to get away from traffic and crowds. Some what isolated (which we wanted) so we came prepared with food and snacks. Pool and hot tub were well maintained and my kids enjoyed hours spashing around.

when i booked penelopes cabin i was looking for one in the mountains with a view well when we arrived it was better then the pictures showed the view was outstanding with it setting on the edge of the mountain it was a place i could live in forever and for her to share it with people i cant thank them enough inside the cabin was 3 large bedrooms large living and setting rooms and everthing in the kitchen that you would need to cook or bake your own meals and the home made bread and jam she left us was very good. all the places we explored was within 45 min drive. cant wait to go back there which we will. thank you again penelope and mark for sharing your beautiful home.

My wife and I and our two dogs absolutely loved our time at this getaway. Tina's cabin is situated in a private community of beautiful log homes near Fall Creek Falls State Park. The cabin is very spacious with comfortable furniture and a well stocked kitchen. The hot tub was a welcomed amenity at the end of long days of hiking. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a nice cabin with plenty of space! We enjoyed staying here while in the area for work and having a roomy kitchen to cook our meals in. We'd definitely stay here again—especially during sandhill crane season with the Hiwassee Refuge right at your backdoor. Don't miss walking down to the water right after the sun comes up—it's magical with the early-morning fog.

We enjoyed ourselves so much. We were warmly greeted, and given a tour. We opted for the morning farm chores, and they were fun and educational. It was my husbands 60th birthday, and he milked a cow for the first time!! We were offered Bible study after the chores, and Brynne did a great job. Brynne was our farm chore guide too. She was excellent at both. At night, I opened our window, and the ladybugs greeted me, and I could see the stars from my pillow. The weather was perfect. I’m very happy with my stay, and would recommend it. We were about 45-60 minutes from Chattanooga, where our activities were for the weekend, but it’s an easy drive. It was so quiet and peaceful, that you forget there are animals right near you. My husband had a great birthday weekend!!’

This was hands down one of the best stays my husband and I have had through AirBnb. We celebrated our five year anniversary and we could not have picked a more peaceful place to spend a weekend. The surrounding scenery was stunning, we loved enjoying the front and back porches and the soaking tub, and we loved that the home was so accommodating for our pup to join us. I also can't count the number of great stays we've had that have been absolutely ruined by an uncomfortable bed. This bed was, without a doubt, the best sleep we've had in an AirBnb. So much so that I didn't even want to leave to go back to my own bed. To top it off, the host was incredibly kind, responsive, and generous. We can't wait to come back!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der Unterkunft und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Matthew hat immer schnell reagiert und war super freundlich. Selbst den Weg zur Unterkunft hat er detailliert beschrieben, sodass wir keine Probleme hatten, sie zu finden. Die Lage ist wirklich perfekt für eine Auszeit. Matthew hat sehr viel Liebe für Details bewiesen und die Ausstattung hat unsere Erwartungen sogar deutlich übertroffen. Ich würde diese gemütliche Hütte jedem empfehlen, der etwas Ruhe mitten im Wald sucht.

Margret has created a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Check in was simple, the house was clean and had plenty of amenities, everything my wife and I needed was provided. 5-10 minute drive to FCF makes it an even better escape. Five Stars
