Amazing place. Clean and cozy, just like the pictures. The location was perfect for peace and quiet, with a pond up the hill. We fished multiple days catching bluegill and largemouth bass. We truly enjoyed ourselves and felt right at home. The cabin was secure and enough secluded, but not too far off the path to downtown Nashville. I would LOVE to come back!

This was our second stay at The Hideaway, and it was just as lovely as the first! Gerri’s attention to detail makes it feel like home. She provides a fantastic variety of coffee options, from a traditional coffee pot to multiple K-cups. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, and the bathroom is stocked with essentials like a hair dryer, shampoo, plenty of towels, and even a separate door for privacy between the shower/toilet and sink area. The beds are incredibly comfortable, including the Murphy bed in the living room. The living room itself is cozy and well-furnished, with reclining sofas and an amazing massage chair. As someone who grew up in Brown County, this place brings back the comforts of home. It’s also in a perfect location, very private, but close to all the shopping and attractions in Nashville. I couldn’t recommend The Hideaway more!

From the minute, we pulled up, we felt right at home. The pictures are great online, but the place is even cuter in person. Probably was the most well appointed, nicely decorated Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. It was super close to downtown Bloomington and IU. Wefelt like a local. Would definitely stay there again!!

It was just what we needed. Home away from home. My husband just arrived from a year long deployment and it was the best way to reconnect. During our stay it literally rained day and night for two days but it was okay. The big window allowed us to enjoy the lightning and watch nature which was relaxing. The cabin comes with a deck of poker cards maybe provide a set of uno cards or other games during forecasts of long thunderstorms. All around everything was beautiful and amazing to me. From the service, to the beautiful location. I’d definitely recommend and I’ll definitely be returning soon. Thank you for everything.

This was the perfect house for my friends and I to come visit! Highly recommend. Communication with the hosts was easy and we always got a very quick response. The house was in pristine condition, very clean and comfortable. The directions provided were very easy to follow and the property seems very well maintained. We were so close to the stadium, campus and lots of restaurants. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you!!!

It was a great stay! The apartment is sensibly arranged and has all the elements you need to feel comfortable, secure, and at home. The well-equipped kitchen allows you to cook almost any meal yourself. A huge plus for a supply of coffee for the entire lengthy stay. Also, most toiletries and household items were in large supply. The only major downside was the shower, which could have worked better. Importantly, the location is great: quiet and peaceful, but it's only a 5-minute walk to a great store (Kroger), a 5-10 minute walk to a variety of dining options, and only a 15-20 minute walk to the Indiana University campus. So if someone betrays the American values of driving everywhere by car, this is the place for him or her : ) Overall: 9/10 and suitable even for much longer stays.

We enjoyed our stay! Cool, unique, creative space with a large private deck. The location with off-street parking is convenient and easily walkable to town, campus, and whatever you may need. The hosts are flexible and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

The property is very private, yet close to groceries and less than an hour drive to downtown Indianapolis. Great size property to roam, walk to the water, swing on the swing, sit outside (when the weather allows...). multiple sitting areas in and outside the house. adequate sized kitchen, just missing a dishwasher for ultimate luxury. just be aware of the noise atmosphere, the ceilings/floors are very thin, so every step is audible. we traveled with a one and a two year old so we were very aware of the noise levels. also, the downstairs is not really two separate bedrooms. as the listing describes it is open floor bedrooms, so there are no doors between the two areas. But, all in all, it was perfect for our family get away with three different households. we enjoyed the hot tub, the recliner couches, the swing, the location itself and also the nice decorations and thought through furniture!! well used space inside and out.
