Extremely well stocked with supplies and all sorts of gadgets and home comforts. Christmas decorations and a small gift for each of the children along with a bottle and chocolates were such a thoughtful and nice touch as we were staying over Christmas Day. Just bear in mind it’s a tourist attraction so if you don’t lock the door you may get an unexpected visitor. We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of character and very homely.

This was a beautiful cottage just 20 minutes outside Reykjavik, the perfect location to discover the city and do the golden circle. We even saw the northern lights from the property! Was perfect for three adults, one couple (my parents) and myself. Bunk beds are small but so am I—not a problem at all for us but is something to be mindful of 🙂. The setting in he nature preserve allowed me to go on beautiful daily trail runs which were incredible.

We had such an amazing time during our stay and Zoei was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. This was one of the nicest Airbnbs I've ever been lucky enough to stay in. It looked beautiful in the pictures and was even more beautiful in person. The thermal pool was so relaxing and Godo was such a highlight. We hope to come back!

I loved the room! Very warm and cozy and everything was exactly as described. Lisa was super proactive and helpful. I even got a Christmas present :) Would definitely come again.

Wonderful 2 day stay! Very comfortable space, with great beds and incredible views. We were very lucky and saw the Northern Lights both nights. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Wow! What a place. Even better than the photos. We wanted to stay somewhere close to the action but far enough away that it felt remote - and it ticked both boxes. Very comfortable, stylish and of course the hot tub was a fantastic benefit. The hosts were great with communication and we had no problems at all during the visit. Highly recommend.

Mi estancia fue perfecta , el alojamiento es moderno y limpio , además el anfitrión tiene preparado un kit de elementos de cocina o limpieza , está completamente equipado y realmente me sentí como en casa , me pareció un detallazo que dejara cosas como aceite , azúcar , sal… , además tenía un precioso patio donde jugamos a hacer muñecos de nieve , es una zona tranquila y muy bonita , sin duda es ideal

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The location was ideal, offering breathtaking views of the mountains. The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, making us feel right at home. We especially loved the little touches like the local recommendations. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bed was super comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat.

Sesselja provides all the information you need before you arrive and is very responsive if you have any questions or problems. A small problem with the shower was solved within a few hours, with the gift of a good dessert! The flat is well equipped, so I didn't lack anything during my week. The city centre can be reached on foot in 15 minutes and there are plenty of shops within walking distance. Thank you for everything!
