My family loved Jessica’s house. Easy access to the river, and there’s a nice 1/2 mile loop we could do with our pup. House is beautiful- enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and sauna. She has a fire pit down the steps by the river that looked amazing- just a little too cold when we visited. Would 100% stay here again. Jessica as a host was very easy to communicate with. Check in was a breeze and she resolved a very minor issue promptly which we greatly appreciated.

My family and I stayed at Gilbert’s cabin for the Christmas Holidays and really enjoyed it. The cabin sits on a large piece of land, so even though there are neighbors it feels very private. It was very quiet and the fire pit outside was the perfect place to stargaze. The cabin is only 10-15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and there are also plenty of hikes nearby as well. We would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy the lake!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ruth's Airbnb, and I couldn't be more impressed! I felt like I was staying in a home away from home. I left feeling completely refreshed and grateful for such a wonderful experience. This was the perfect spot for our Spring Break getaway! We made the most of all the awesome amenities—kayaks, a creekside swing, a slide, grilling, arcades, board games, and the hot tub. Rain or shine, there was always something fun to do!

From the moment we put in our reservation Bobby and Dina made us feel so very welcomed. We truly enjoyed our stay at their beautiful home on the river. The peace and tranquility of the home made it a much needed getaway. I would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the area. Bobby and Dina were super responsive to any requests we had and made some super recommendations of things in the surrounding are. We rode up on motorcycles and the drive in and driveway were very accessible for us to navigate and park. we will definitely be making this our usual place to stay when we're in the area.

What a FUN Getaway Cabin! I honestly feel we didn't spend enough time just enjoying the space. Exceptionally clean with plenty of necessities. We appreciated there was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags and we did not have to run to the store for more. Plenty of towels for showers and hot tub use. We are an active family of 4 with 2 upper elementary children and we all equally enjoyed the space. The wifi was excellent (this is not always the case with lake cabins!), the living and dining spaces were large and welcoming for the whole family to be together. So many games to choose from. We visited in Spring, but this would be a great winter hideout as well! Overall just so pleased with our stay!! Close to so many activities. I will note the King bed is in the upstairs bedroom. This worked okay for us, but I did overlook that in this listing.

If you’re looking to unwind, relax and truly spend time with your family this is it. Each moment was magical from the stunning videos, the sights and sounds of the Ocoee River, star gazing at night , cooking breakfasts together and fishing out back. I can’t tell you all how much you need to book this house. It was perfect for our family of 3 and our son’s service dog. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed to cook , caffeinate and feel at home. Micheal and Beth were so sweet and kind. This trip was an important one for our kiddo who is sick and battling a rare disease. We are so absolutely grateful and thrilled for our time on the river. We will be back!

Great place to stay right on the river! Very peaceful and quiet. Location is perfect- downtown Blue Ridge is just a short drive. The kids loved seeing the train go by, and the train doesn’t run during early morning or late night hours! Overall, fantastic place to stay in a great location!

The most perfect place for a relaxed and quiet getaway! My husband and I drove up here from Florida for our honeymoon. It was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable that we felt right at home. We hardly left the cabin, there was plenty to do right there. Canoeing on the lake with our dog was the highlight of the trip. 10/10 would stay again.

What a gem of a place - we had the most wonderful week! The home was just as described with all the amenities we needed for 6 of us. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and kayaking every day. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and living room and actually decided to stay in and cook meals vs. going out to eat because we didn’t want to leave the property. Easy 10 min drive to restaurants and local grocery stores if needed. Laura was an incredible host! She communicated with us appropriately before, during and post trip to make sure we were enjoying our stay and answering any questions. Prior to arrival, we received a beautiful PDF of check in instructions, local recommendations and contact info. I’ve not seen this special touch by any previous Airbnb host - there is no doubt Laura takes pride in ensuring her guests feel like this is “home away from home.” Highly recommend!

We spend a few days after Christmas and the place was clean and quiet to relax , we definitely stay here again .

We had a great visit at this cabin! The host was extremely responsive before and during our stay which really helped in ensuring that we had a great getaway! The cabin had everything you could ever need, just show up with food and clothes!! The outdoor space was perfect for kids and really helped pass the time with so many things to do outdoors. We also utilized the resort pass and the kids loved the indoor pool. If clean, kid friendly, and near the water is what you are looking for this is a great option.

This cabin was so beautiful! Our daughter absolutely loved the decor! The area was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing! The dock was great for fishing. We will definitely rent this cabin again when we visit Ellijay!

Our family trip with 4 couples & kids was a great success! From grilling steaks, enjoying the hot tub, and roasting marshmallows over the fire by the river. The beds were very comfortable & the kitchen was well appointed including a full spice rack. The bathrooms were as amazing as the pictures show! We are considering a return trip in the summer & highly recommend this property!

This place is MAGICAL! Wife & I celebrated our anniversary, the first one with our beautiful daughter, and this place was the perfect spot for it! Great location, great amenities, incredible views, top-notch host. Would definitely go back and would highly recommend!

The cabin was beautiful and just like the pictures! I stayed there with 5 of my friends and there was plenty of space for us to feel comfortable. The lake was gorgeous and quiet. Jan was quick and responsive when we were checking in and out. I will definitely stay here again in the future!

Reel Sweet was the perfect spot for our spring break getaway! The location is absolutely idyllic—tucked right along the beautiful, crystal-clear river perfect for fishing. It felt incredibly private, yet was still easy to access and is only a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge. The home was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. From the fire pit to the water toys, this home offered so much for the value. The large backyard was the perfect place to make memories playing games and having fun as a family. Ryan, the host, was super responsive and helpful—even shared some great fishing tips! We can’t wait to come back and rent Reel Sweet again!
