This place was very clean and very welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure that you felt comfortable and if you needed anything, chances are, they already thought of it and it was there. They were very quick to respond to messages and answer any questions you might have. We will definitely be staying here many more times. Would recommend to anyone that’s looking for a quiet and private place.

If you are ever in this area and this place is available, jump on it! This cabin is exactly as described and you will not be disappointed. We enjoyed our stay and want to come back in the near future. It was beautiful, peaceful, and cozy! The host had a binder of local amenities and advice on hiking trails at the National Park that was nearby, and this was super helpful!

Great place, hot tub was an excellent amenity which we really enjoyed after being in the cold. Super clean, perfect space and quite cozy! Hosts were super responsive. Not a single complaint.

This cabin was great for our stay! We spent The Weekend to go snowboarding & skiing at Winterplace. Was a little bit of a drive but we didn’t mind. The cabin wasn’t too hard to find permitting the weather (we got 8” of snow while we stayed). If you come in the winter I would strongly recommend driving something with 4x4! Overall we enjoyed our stay! Especially the hot tub!

A gorgeous, cute little cabin on a beautiful creek. We loved the view and had a lovely time. The bed was super comfortable and the hot tub was fun and relaxing. Made for an amazing weekend for me and my husband. The restaurant recommendations were perfect. We had fabulous meals at The Palisades and Harvest at Mountain Lake. Would love to come back and stay at the four fillies lodge again in the future

The place is great and well stocked. I thought kitchen and dining area were small. We like to cook there and not go out. Otherwise the cabin was very comfortable and much thought was given to the layout. We didn’t use the fire pit as we could find no wood. Maybe I was supposed to supply my own? Unfortunately the road being paved leaves your car extremely dirty and you have to wash off your back window each time you drive in and out. That isn’t something that can be helped but perhaps a heads up would help guests. The lock needs a new battery and took over 15 minutes to get into initially which was difficult late at night. Overall great spot for a short stay, close to VA Tech

Wonderful cabin in a quiet, idyllic place that has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close enough to Fayetteville so you can easily grab a meal but far enough from anything that star gazing is a joy in the hot tub in the evening. Price adjusted, this is probably one of my favorite Airbnb’s of all time, and I’ve stayed all over the world. A+!

The cabin was comfortable for our group of four, and we enjoyed using the hot tub. The resort staff were super friendly and helpful. Great location for accessing NRG National Park trails.

Overall great experience. It was very cozy within the Airbnb and peaceful and serene outside of the cabin. Perfect for a 2 person or couples getaway weekend!

beautiful location; for double bed need to push two rollsy singles together; plenty of upstairs sleeping- but for 2 persons it’s $100/night each….nice outdoor table and firepit

Our second stay at The Black Bear Lodge! Spacious and inviting, with plenty of space for a family gathering. Good kitchen that you can cook for a crowd in. Feels like you’re in a very secluded spot, but only 30 min drive to good groceries and other stores in Princeton. Hope to stay again!

The cabins are a great place to stay while exploring the NRG national park. The Amish cabin matched the description and is very comfortable for 2-5 people. The property is very clean and clear instructions were provided during check-in and check-out. The WiFi connectivity is spotty but mobile network worked just fine. Restaurants, fast food and grocery stores are located with a mile. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our second time here in Alderson, and there were more than many reasons to come here again. The area may seem quiet and isolated, but we still did not manage to check everything off our extensive list, which keeps growing. The cabin is adorable and truly the coziest and comfiest thing we could have wanted for our break. Thank you, Audrey and Kevin, for making this space available to us!

This cabin is the perfect blend of chic design and cozy comfort. Very dog friendly, which is something I’m always looking for in a vacation spot The shower is absolutely amazing—I’ll let you discover why for yourself! We loved walking down to Second Creek; it was so peaceful and serene. The stargazing here is incredible—it felt like you could reach out and touch the stars. This is, without a doubt, my favorite Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. We can’t wait to come back! One tip: Make sure to listen to Dave and follow his driving directions. Don’t make the mistake I did of “winging it”—I had to backtrack to find cell service and read the instructions properly.

Robert is a great host, extremely friendly and responsive to all our questions! It was snowing when we visiting, and the road the cabin is on was plowed making it easily accessible. Temperatures were in the single digits at nice, but the place is well insulated and stayed cozy.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It was incredibly clean and well-furnished, with everything we needed for a comfortable few days. The location was perfect—close to stores and the ski resort, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We all had a fantastic time and really appreciated the opportunity to relax and recharge in such a great space. Highly recommend!

Really fantastic place if you’re looking to get away for a bit! Plus, there’s plenty to do with in driving distance like hiking and wineries and what not! Place was very clean when I arrived and Drema was flexible and communicated well! Would stay again!

The cabin was beautiful with a well stocked kitchen. Very clean. Lea Ann was very quick to respond to questions. The only negative (and only minor negative at that) is we never could get the tv’s to stream, but it wasn’t a big deal for our group. I’d definitely book here again!

Its a beautiful place specially for a log cabin camp. If you look for a wild camp its the perfect sopt. New River Gorge visitor centers are near by.

This Airbnb is so cozy and well decorated! It was the perfect cabin stay for our snowboarding trip and we loved the peaceful creek. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils we needed, which you don’t always get in Airbnbs. We would definitely recommend and rebook!

Matt's home was beautiful and perfectly appointed. We came to snowboard at Winterplace ski resort and it's very close to the resort which was incredibly convenient for us. This is such a peaceful location and would be a great romantic getaway for a couple who wanted to enjoy the beautiful view from the back porch. Everything inside was just as the pictures show with up to date, tasteful decor. The beds were very comfortable as well - always key to a great stay. We will definitely be back!
