Our stay at Cathy and Jono’s property exceeded our expectations. Cathy kept checking in on us while we were still on the way since the weather was not so favourable. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome, she had the heater on for us and gave us a guided tour of their stunning house that is beautifully designed and very spacious. Cathy and Jono went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. They were just a text/ phone call away whenever we needed something, and this truly made us feel valued as guests. Thank you for being such incredible hosts Cathy and Jono, this trip will always hold a special place in our hearts because of your warmth and hospitality. We cannot wait for our next visit!

Lindsey was a great host. This was our second time staying at her place. Her communication is exceptional. We enjoyed every bit of it. We felt right at home. Lindsey is a thoughtful and caring person, she made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We always enjoy our time at her place, from the view of the ocean to the wonderful helper Dorris who is so friendly and kind. We definitely will be back for another stay soon! The house was tranquil and peaceful. I would highly recommend visiting Lindsey’s place for a nice getaway. We have just had a wonderful 4 night stay at North Beach and loved every minute of it. The hosts were very friendly and responsive and were flexible with check in time, as the property was ready for us slightly earlier than we expected. The house was very clean, and comfortable in size for 10 people. Plenty of seating and a lovely big dining room table and spacious bedrooms all equipped with very comfy beds. The garden is very intimate in size, but does have a braai / BBQ area, a small splash pool, & sofa outside. There is not much space around this though - that said, it is right on the beach front, a perfect distraction for the kids. When the weather is not great though, you are indoors! Sli the lovely cleaning lady came twice during our 4 day stay, to clean up and make the beds. She is delightful &friendly, and gave us great tips on how to deal with the monkeys! I would say they could do with more plates and cutlery, for sure - My only "negative" feedback as otherwise perfect.

My family and I had a beautiful stay. We spent majority of our time outside and enjoying the nature that surrounds the house. The house is spacious, clean and feels like home. Zimbali Estate is amazing and we had stunning beach days and lazy days by the various pools. The hosts are communicative and responsive.

Absolutely stunning home away from home! Ella is such an amazing host. So warm, gentle and kind. She made us feel right at home. My family and I really love the place, my son made me promise to come back so I don't have much of a choice 😊 We'll definitely be returning. I had the pleasure of staying in this stunning apartment on the quieter side of Umhlanga, which exceeded all my expectations! The apartment is beautifully decorated, cosy, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway. But what made my stay special was the hospitality from Jono and Cathy - they surprised me with a lovely bottle red of wine, which was such a thoughtful touch! The pool area was fantastic, and the entire complex was ideally suited for those seeking a peaceful, private retreat. The location is also super convenient, with a delicious café downstairs serving the best Chai latte, and a Checkers grocery store just steps away. If I have one regret, it's that I didn't make it to the nearby casino - but that's definitely on my agenda for next time! Overall, I highly recommend this apartment to anyone seeking a serene and comfortable stay in Umhlanga. Thank you, Jono and Cathy, for an unforgettable experience!

I had a fantastic stay at this place! It was spotlessly clean and incredibly convenient—just a short walk to the restaurant, which made everything super easy. The host was excellent with communication, always responsive and helpful. I genuinely enjoyed my time here and loved everything about the space. Highly recommend!

What an impressive complex! So clean and neat and had such friendly security guards. Easy access to the beach and promenade. It's not right on a swimming beach, but it's still lovely. The unit is extremely comfortable and has all the amenities and more! It's the perfect spot for a girls' running weekend!

Paola’s place is beautiful and peaceful, I booked it as part of my rest and recovery, and it gave me just that if not more. My only regret is not booking for more days. Paola is a gracious and generous host; you can tell everything was curated with warmth and care. From the small laundry bags to the Nespresso pods and Turkish beach towels, it didn’t feel like home - it felt like what home should be.

We had a very relaxing time. The apartment is very well appointed, in a great location - quiet but close to everything - with the most amazing views from a spacious balcony.

This stunning property truly feels like a home away from home! The scenic views are absolutely breathtaking, and the host is incredibly responsive and always eager to assist whenever needed. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures, and falling asleep to the soothing sound of the ocean was nothing short of heavenly. Beautiful, peaceful and secure place for a family. This was my first time in Durban and I'm particular about living spaces ,but this really met our standards. Thanks to the hosts for the great service.
