Bocas del Toro : locations de vacances

Our stay at Rodney's guest house was perfect to visit Bocas and explore everything it and the archipelago had to offer. The location is perfect - right by the water with quick water taxi access to everywhere we wanted to visit. The convenience of getting around made our trip so much more enjoyable. Rodney is truly a rare breed of host - attentive, responsive, and genuinely interested in ensuring we had a wonderful stay. His communication was excellent from booking through checkout. He provided clear instructions and was always available to answer questions or offer local recommendations. The guest house itself was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. We can't recommend Rodney's place highly enough and would definitely stay here again on our next visit. Thank you for making our trip so special!

We had a wonderful stay at Red Frog Island Beach Resort, where Brett's house is located. The house is great, with a wonderful pool and grounds, large bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, and a nice kitchen. Brett was communicative, often responding within minutes of my emails. He was also accommodating when questions or challenges arose. The resort is also great! The villas are spaced very far apart within a large forested area. My kids loved seeing sloths, monkeys, and red frogs. The Beach Club restaurant has a diverse menu and reasonable prices, and is well located next to a nice swimming pool and hot tub. Just past the pool is a great beach for walking along, wading in, and even doing some body boarding. The resort has an adequately stocked store, as well as a spa. Unless you enjoy walking and have time and energy for it, I recommend renting a golf cart during your stay. Having a golf cart made it much easier to get around.

Amazing place. Super clean and perfect for two couples. The spot was walkable yet far enough away from any noise. John and his team were extremely responsive and gave detailed instructions the day before of how exactly to get there. So nice that we were able to do laundry too. Also the best view EVER

Really fun place to stay. Was bigger than we expected and kids loved the lookout bedroom. Walter was super helpful with taxi numbers and advise on good places to visit. There is a nice small beach that was good to chill on just a 5-10 min walk and taxis to further afield were easy to arange via whatsa msg.

We had a fantastic trip. The unit was exactly what we wanted and as advertised. Danielle and her team went above and beyond to support us during our stay. We felt very comfortable during the month we visited and would absolutely recommend her accommodations as well as professionalism. Great experience all around 🏝️

We had an incredible time at Cocovivo. Capitan and Mazoo were there to greet us when we arrived - Ulrich and Elizabeth were so nice, and very accommodating. The property is beautiful and full of wildlife - we saw an iguana, both types of toucan, a sloth and some interesting millipedes when we did the sloth loop. We did the frog walk with Leo - brilliant we saw 10+ sloths, and more frogs than we could count, a hike in pure nature with some primary rainforest. We did a night snorkel with the bioluminescence and saw 2 octopus. Andrea the chef was second to none - it’s the best food we’ve had so far in 4 months travelling Central America. Can’t recommend Cocovivo highly enough!

Stayed with husband and two teens. Looked all over the island. Definitely the best place to stay IMO. Spacious , gorgeous views, amazing updated /upscale hang out space, pool etc. Pippa’s directly next door is a gem for breakfast lunch , dinner or drinks. Had beach volleyball net and cornhole too but wasnt a crazy beach bar. Nice vibe. Need taxi to town and bluff beach but super easy to get. Used a recommendation from Connor- Roberto, was like having our own personal driver the whole time. Just to be aware to get from the Downstairs king suite you go through the open air/ covered outdoor den to a separate staircase. Upstairs covered veranda was heaven.Not a bother for us with 14 and 16 year old but good to be aware of you have younger kids. Felt completely safe the whole time. Felt like upscale burbs out the front door but still have the quiet tropical vibe outside the back with gorgeous view of pool and ocean. The dock was great for drinks and boats picked us up for excursion

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Reef. Jahir was super responsive and helpful whenever we needed transportation, and showing us the place upon our arrival. The place was perfect for our family of four- we love the outdoors and open air and don’t need anything fancy. The location is perfect- over the water with good swimming and snorkeling. You will need to bring food or plan to go to town to eat which could get expensive because of the water taxi ($30 each way). Bringing food and cooking is doable- the kitchen isn’t fancy and remember the water from the tap is not drinkable (which adds work to cooking and dish washing) but Jahir provided jugs of water for the bottled water dispenser that we relied upon. There were termites that left wood shavings in the cabinets and on the floors while we were there, and plenty of geckos inside the kitchen, but again it’s open air so to be expected. The view and water make up for any hassle!

We had a wonderful stay with our family (including our 6-year-old daughter). The flat is not only super tastefully furnished, but also thought through down to the smallest detail - there really is nothing missing! Everything was in very good condition and we felt at home right from the start. The exceptional hospitality deserves special mention: whether we needed a water taxi or a laundry service, everything was dealt with quickly and extremely courteously. The hosts were always available, flexible and dedicated to our well-being. We would recommend this accommodation without reservation and would be happy to return!
