Great value for money – probably the best in Bocas! The biggest advantages are the air conditioning (a rare find for off-grid stays), a fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely garden. Plus, there are plenty of bright red frogs on the nearby hillside! Things to keep in mind: always use insect repellent, even if it seems like there are no bugs around. Local midges are very cunning. Rodney is a wonderful host—very caring and always offering his help. Bring enough cash. Credit cards are rarely accepted for tours/taxi. We brought $400 for four people for three days, and it was barely enough. Near the house you can see stingrays, a lot of starfish, a few types of fish, and some corals, but not in large number. Rodney's place is in a great, secluded location, but you’ll need a water taxi to get around, which can be pricey. When he has time, he offers rides for a much lower price, but he’s working more often now.

Cheryl and Mike were very welcoming hosts. The room is clean and comfortable. We were given lots of tips and advice for the area. It was really great that we were allowed to use various equipment for swimming/snorkeling. Highly recommended.

Denice's home is a wonderful option for a Bocas Del Toro get away. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, from the comfortable and generously sized bedrooms, so the wonderful dock where we spent evenings watching the sting rays swim through the water, to the lovely little pool that was great for a cool down. Everything was as described and was a great option for our family of 3. Denice and Morgan were super responsive to our questions and addressed the minor issues we spotted (e.g. a lightbulb) within hours. As other reviewers have mentioned, Gustavo is a wonderful tour guide and made exploring Bocas easy and relaxing!

We really enjoyed staying at the Orange house @ Over the Water. It’s well equipped & has a lovely terrace over the water with a very nice view of Saigon Bay. It’s ideal to enjoy your breakfast or evening drink. We slept with the windows open, so you could hear the waves (& almost nothing else). Bocas town is only a 15 min walk away. Ok wow this place was absolutely amazing! It was my dream to stay at an over the water bungalow and this exceeded all my expectations. Your own little paradise on a tropical island. Jump right off the front porch to swim in a great reef. Stunning views of the lagoon and mountains and sunsets. Michelle is a wonderful person and I am blessed to meet her. She helped me out with everything, gave great advice, and I met more amazing people at De La Luna and through her. This bungalow is ideal if you are staying long by being a digital nomad. You get a great peaceful place to sleep and work at. Then if you want to go to town and party you take the water taxi in right from the front porch. Bocas town is a blast so stay there for a bit then come right back to paradise. Also two restaurants and a store right in kayaking distance. El alojamiento de Jane es increíble, acogedor, con todas las facilidades en la cocina. Es un ambiente sumamente privado y la anfitriona respeta tu privada. Sin embargo esta super atenta desde que haces la reserva (nos ayudo con el taxi bote, cual es el mejor y más surtido supermercado de la zona, nos recién casamos y gentilmente me colaboró con una sorpresa para mi esposo) su recibimiento fue cálido y siempre que teníamos alguna duda ella respondía al segundo. Si quieres un lugar privado, para disfrutar con tu pareja, tener la posibilidad de hacer snorkel cuando gustes, kayak o paddle este es el lugar. Sin dudas es un lugar para regresar

Stop scrolling ! You have found heaven on earth! Thank the universe and book! Where to begin ? The property itself is stunning- the construction is beautiful and the view is amazing. Yes! There are dolphins right outside. Erika’s daughter spotted us a jumping pod when we were getting on the boat one morning. Spacious, well stocked, great beds, paddleboards, amazing bathtub and laundry. But the real treasure is the staff! Like wow! A+ service. From the chef, to Erika, to Jose the boat captain to the insanely talented masseuse, this place has quiet luxury on lock. It’s an incredible value. We especially loved ZapAtilla island, dunking into the water off the front deck and then chilling in the hammocks ! Saw a sting ray and many tropical fish - don’t skimp on the snorkeling opportunities! Julia does an incredible job and the management is world class. Erika- this review is esp for you! Stayed with husband and two teens. Looked all over the island. Definitely the best place to stay IMO. Spacious , gorgeous views, amazing updated /upscale hang out space, pool etc. Pippa’s directly next door is a gem for breakfast lunch , dinner or drinks. Had beach volleyball net and cornhole too but wasnt a crazy beach bar. Nice vibe. Need taxi to town and bluff beach but super easy to get. Used a recommendation from Connor- Roberto, was like having our own personal driver the whole time. Just to be aware to get from the Downstairs king suite you go through the open air/ covered outdoor den to a separate staircase. Upstairs covered veranda was heaven.Not a bother for us with 14 and 16 year old but good to be aware of you have younger kids. Felt completely safe the whole time. Felt like upscale burbs out the front door but still have the quiet tropical vibe outside the back with gorgeous view of pool and ocean.
