we was amazed by the star lite sky, the rolling hills and didn't mind the stormy morning. The bed was nice and cozy. We found everything we needed there. Loved the unique artwork especially the turtle!! Favorite place was the back porch the way the trees were lit up LOVED IT!!

This was one of the most tranquil places we’ve been. It brought back such fond memories from my childhood at my Grandmother’s home. From walking the trails, to sitting on the porch, it was so relaxing. Waking up to the birds singing in the morning was so nice. When we “get away” from work, this is the type place we look for. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing, and alone. It’s so important to get away so you can unwind and relax and get your mind and body back in line. I would highly recommend this place and looking forward to going back .

My mother and I stayed at Fortenberry Farm for 3 nights, and it was a memorable visit! The cabin was comfortable, very clean, and full of attractive artwork. The screened porch was excellent, and the area around the cabin nicely landscaped. Even though most or all of the cabins were occupied during our stay and we did quite a bit of walking around on the property, we never heard or saw anyone. A special highlight was visiting the chickens and donkeys! Our hosts were very friendly and responsive. I would love to go back in a year and see what they've done with the property. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

We stayed at the Lost cabin on our first trip (which was only two weeks ago). We were so eager to get back. Our cabin of choice wasn’t Available (the Lost Cabin) but the Farm House did not disappoint! Easy access, Spacious and peaceful. We love the farm so much we decided to make it a point to try all the cabins in the near future!

Absolutely beautiful home in an absolute gorgeous piece of property. Very peaceful and quiet. Extremely clean and cozy. The host were extremely friendly and nice. They were also very accommodating. would definitely stay again. 10/10

It was a great experience very peaceful and serene. If you’re looking for a quiet weekend in a country setting, this is a must book. Beautiful pond for fishing, fire pit for cold nights and walking trails throughout property.

We have been staying at this location for months now and the host and the ones at the cabins are amazing! They are always so helpful and so accommodating. They have made our stay amazing. Well worth it!

This experience was great, everything was as expected. We brought our own food to cook, & everything else was there at our disposal. I do think they should add an excursion to do, the walking path was nice, but maybe an atv ride or horse back riding.

It was the perfect little place. Cabins were cool and clean. The bed a little squeaky but overall the cain was great. We grilled our food in the communal area which had a great feel to it. All utensils were clean as well as the cooking area. The cats and dogs were so friendly, we spent the night sat around the fire with the dogs and cats all laid around. We loved it here, we didn’t catch any fish and the wind was too strong to take out a kayak but the little beach was pretty and nicely made, could definitely do to have a bit more seating down there as there was only 1 chair. Overall we had fun, the host was friendly and the animals were amazing. We didn’t have to bring anything other than food, some soap, towels and fishing stuff. Worth the money 100%

We absolutely loved our stay! We definitely plan to go back!! We had went hiking at Clark's Creek but we now know that we have to set aside a whole day just to experience and explore the back yard of this beautiful home! Everything was exceptional inside. Felt like home and super clean and tidy. No complaints!

The views of the river were breathtaking, offering the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The beds were incredibly comfy, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a day of exploring. The game room was a fantastic bonus, providing plenty of entertainment during our stay. Everything about the cabin was well-maintained and thoughtfully prepared, making it a cozy retreat. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to visit again!

This was a beautiful little gem tucked away in the woods. I loved all the windows and natural light in the little cabin. The clear creek was about a 5 minute walk and the highlight of the trip! We enjoyed walking down to the beach for the day. Absolutely beautiful! Would love to stay here again!

Second time I've stayed here and I will definitely be back. All you need to know to enjoy the cabin is that you're renting an 1800s small cabin in the middle of the woods. As long as you aren't expecting the Ritz, you'll love this space. Cozy, comfortable, lots of wildlife, so many birds! I can't wait to go back.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we could tell that so much thought had been put into every detail. The space was warm, cozy, and felt like a true home away from home. The amenities were incredible—everything we could possibly need was provided, making our stay so comfortable and convenient. Whether we were relaxing inside or enjoying the activities the property had to offer, there was never a dull moment. The host was amazing—quick to respond and always ready to help with any questions or needs that came up. Plus, the directions and instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made checking in and settling down a breeze. I can’t recommend this place enough! If you’re looking for a thoughtful, well-equipped, and inviting space, this is the one. We can’t wait to come back!

We visited for 3 days. Had a great time and took a few rides into town and to lake okhissa. This is actually our second time visiting. Quiet and very romantic.

Mrs.Tina’s place was so peaceful. Perfect little getaway for us. It was pet friendly and our elderly pup had a wonderful time and very much enjoyed the creek and surrounding area. The kids also enjoyed it there, they found so many cool rocks and “gold.” It was very quiet and serene. Coffee on the front porch and swinging under a covered area by the creek during a rain storm were the highlights for me. The cabin is cozy and was as listed. Mrs. Tina is so very helpful and kind. She went above and beyond from booking to check out. Her directions were perfect and we would definitely stay again.

We had such a beautiful weekend - truly a forest retreat! It was wonderful to be surrounded by forest - we basked in forest sounds and night skies, walked and biked and played in the creek. Thnak you.

Easiest way to describe the entire experience is so peaceful and beautiful that it heals your soul. the owner is the sweetest man who is kind enough to share the history of the property with me. overall this is a place i will return to
