We live in Australia and headed back to the UK. We wanted to catch up with old friends and this was the perfect place. Rooms were big and comfy and quiet. Living space was great for the size of our group. We went in December so didn’t use the outside space much but I imagine at other times of the year the garden would be amazing. Thanks for a great stay

Lovely cottage - beautifully restored, cosy and very clean. We especially liked the sun room during the daytime, and the log burner for the chilly evenings. The area is stunning, and Hartington has lots of amenities - shops, tearooms, nice pub. Dave was really helpful and responded to our queries very quickly. Would definitely stay again!

Lucy was great - always responsive and helpful/clear with instructions. The place itself was fantastic, I was there with my wife, brother and some friends over New Year, and we were very comfortable. We had our dogs as well, who loved the garden! (Though note that the garden is not fully enclosed). We had a wonderful time - thanks Lucy!

We had a great stay at Benjamin’s house. Comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 4 children. Benjamin’s communication was excellent throughout. The house is lovely and the photos don’t do justice to the amount of space. Very well equipped. Bakewell town centre is under 5 minutes walk away. Playground and pub also very close. Located on a quiet cul de sac with enough space on the drive for three cars. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Emmas apartment. There are so many small details that have been done to make us feel welcome and at home. We loved it. This is an ideal place to stay if you have children as there are some toys and books possible to use, as well as a cot and safety gate to keep the little ones safe. This might be the cleanest apartment we have ever stayed at, so a big shout out to the person responsible for cleaning. The only negative thing I can think of is that the floor in the bathroom can get a bit cold (so bring slippers) and the bed was a bit too soft for our preferences and squeeks a bit, but this is minor details. All in all a wonderful place and great value. We hope to stay again. Emma and her parents who lives next door are very kind and helpful. We forgot a toy and they were happy to help us get it back. Emma is also very easy to communicate with and have clear instructions that are easy to understand. Thank you so much for everything.

Lovely 3 bedroom apartment in a peaceful location with a stunning view across the valley. Comfortable beds and great showers. It is the ground floor of a house with the owners living above, but it has separate access from the side and there was no noise from above at all. The spacious locked shed was an added bonus for storing my husbands bike. Just 5-10 mins walk down the hill to the shops, train station, open air swimming pool, cafes and restaurants in Hathersage. And only 25 minutes drive into Sheffield. The George was a lovely spot for a very tasty evening meal. Stunning walks from the door, including up to Stanage Edge. A great spot to stay for a walking holiday in the Peak District- we highly recommend it!

It's like a home from home! A very well equipped and comfortable place to stay. Beautiful walks from the door and a good selection of pubs within walking distance.

From the minute we booked Ben kept us up to date wirh all info required. The Townhouse waa immaculate although the lounge diner area was a tad smaller than expected. Bedrooms are spacious and were spotless. But all in all a gorgeous property in a gorgeous area.

The place felt right at home the moment we arrived. A cozy place making us feel very relaxed during our stay, especially the living room and bedroom. Very comfortable bed, we slept well every night. Craigs hospitality from day 1 was more than we can ever hope for. He helped us settle in and with things that we needed. I would recommend Craig and his place to anyone looking for a nice cozy stay in the city. 😊

We highly recommend Phil's place! My wife, daughter, and I visited the University of Nottingham for her Veterinary Medicine acceptance at Sutton Bonington, and Phil’s location was perfect. It’s just 100 feet from the Victoria Centre mall and city bus routes, with easy access to all major campuses. Phil's place is in the middle of the nightlife, but flat and the area is quiet, clean, and comfortable. Phil went above and beyond—meeting us upon arrival, offering great restaurant suggestions, and ensuring excellent communication throughout. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and look forward to returning! This was our first time in the UK being from Canada. Phil's place was great and made us feel right at home. Going back in September and November and I will requesting to stay at Phil's place again. You book Phil's place you will not be disappointed.

Amazing stay at Jo’s. Great comms beforehand. Excellent, private location in Beeston. A few mins walk to supermarkets, shops and tram stop. Appartment is exactly as listed with everything you need, including tea and coffee. Always responsive and helpful. Have already booked again.

Had a lovely nights stay here with my wife and young son. Lovely location with a really beautiful walk down by the Trent easy to get to from here. Perfect place to unwind and chill out, highly recommended

Great location, easy to walk to restaurants/bars but then also close to botanical gardens and other peaceful places. Rosie was super helpful and very quick to respond to any queries. We booked the Swedish massage which was lovely, added to the chilled vibe of our days away!

Had the most wonderful few days at staying here. Super cosy space with everything we needed and the hosts were so lovely. We would stay again without a doubt!

This is now our go to place to stay in Sheffield, it's our home away from home. We love staying here and Lisa's place it so comfy and welcoming. The pantry and fridge are fully stocked so you don't have to worry about bringing anything for breakfast. We also love the little touches like the chocolates left for us when we enter the accomodation The Botanical gardens are a stone throw away and lots of restaurants around in walking distance. Less then 10 minute drive to centre of Sheffield too. Lisa always makes sure she catches us to say Hello, and we look forward to our next visit.

Maureen was a great host and even provided recommendations of restaurants and activities. Fantastic location for the sites and walks whilst also peaceful. Will definitely book again.

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

We loved our stay in this beautifully decorated home - cosy and comfy. The bath was a dream!Angus was very responsive with great communication and checked in with us throughout our stay. It was great to be able to relax and watch Netflix/Amazon Prime etc after a long day out and about in the Peak District, and the bed was insanely comfy! Also a must visit is Eyam Village if you’re a history buff like me! And highly recommend Casa Carlo for dinner, the owner is lovely and the food was exceptional. Thank you Angus!

We had a lovely stay, the house was perfect and had everything we needed.

This is now the third or fourth time I have stayed here. Great large open plan space. Beautiful and quiet. Just what was needed. I would definitely use this place again if needing to stay in the area. Highly recommended

Garden Retreat is a lovely ground floor apartment with direct access to a lovely garden. The property was spotlessly clean with lots of additional touches such as phone chargers and torch. It was actually larger than I expected. It was comfortable with everything I could need and more. A large kitchen, comfortable lounge and quiet bedroom. The shower is blissful! Jonathan is lovely, welcoming but also respectful of privacy. There if needed. It’s about a 25 minute easy walk into Belper with its shops and eateries. Lots of great walks from the apartment and Belper. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit with my two dogs. I do hope I can visit again.
