Bolstadøyri : locations de vacances

A true island only accessible via boat - a little stressful as we arrived as the sun was going down during active snowfall with a layer of ice on the water, but Tord (Gard’s brother) helped us boat over with our 9 family members and luggage. Be aware you have to climb 2-3 flights of stairs to get to the house and will have to operate a boat yourself. Gard, Kari, and Tord helped us pre-stock the house with groceries as everything was closed during the Christmas holiday, which was so extremely appreciated. The house is absolutely beautiful and well equipped. The scenery is like out of a storybook and well worth the extra effort of getting there. We had an idyllic family vacation with memories to last a lifetime. We would love to come back, maybe during warmer weather next time.

Wir hatten zwei super Tage im Tiny House, mit schönem Wetter, was es uns ermöglichte, viel draussen zu sein, das Boot zu nutzen und zu fischen. Wir haben es sehr genossen. Vielen Dank Fredrik!

Would thoroughly recommend Siris place. it's in a beautiful, private and quiet/tranquil location. The fjord is just steps away and the view amazing. Siris communication was fantastic, we found the place really easily with the help of her detailed instructions and photos. As others have said, best to pack in a ruck sack as you need to park and walk (10 mins) through the forest to get to the cabin. The accommodation itself was very good. The living area (lounge and kitchen) being modern, clean with views through a picture window to the fjord and access to an outside deck with seating to those alfresco evenings. Although small, the bedrooms and bathroom were perfectly fine. Whilst the weather was not kind to us, we did still manage a swim from the jetty, but did not take advantage of the SUPs or row boat on offer. We booked as part of a longer trip to Norway, wanting somewhere to chillout before moving on to the Lofotens. It certainly ticked all the boxes for us.

Really cute house in a great location. All the amenities listed were present and Jonas was quick to respond to questions. I stayed in winter so be prepared to turn the radiators on as soon as you get into the house.

Fantastisk flott leilighet,stor og god, svarte til forventningene. Var der en helg pga vi skulle i barnedåp. Sentralt. Her kommer vi gjerne tilbake.

Such a beautiful location- so calm and restful. The house is lovely with everything we needed. There was so much space inside and out. The beds were comfy, the house was spotlessly clean and the view was absolutely amazing. We would love to visit again for sure.

The kitchen is sharp, practical—a true haven for anyone who values a well-prepped meal. And then there’s the jetty out front, where you can sit back, sip something strong, and lose yourself in the stillness of this place. Centrally located for a business traveler yet worlds away in spirit. If I could double the star rating, I would. Else, the host, is a gem—flexible, communicative, and downright pleasant.
