Great host, great apartment, highly recommended

The location of the flat is excellent, right in the heart of the Old Town. Edinburgh Castle is a short walk away and there are plenty of restaurants and shops around. The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable, everything was clean and all the necessary appliances were available, including a washer/dryer. Mr. Shahid is an excellent host, he had all the information available in a binder inside the flat and he was quick to help us with anything we needed. It was our first time booking an Airbnb and we were beyond satisfied! We recommend it without a doubt!

Een appartement dat oor een groep golfers geweldig is. Vier kamers met en-suite badkamers. Een goede living met grote TV. In het centrum van Gullane. Alles voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Omdat er geen huurders waren de dag ervoor, konden wij al om 09.00 uur het appartement in. Dat hebben wij zeer op prijs gesteld.

I felt like a celebrity in this beautiful and quiet flat, right off the main action of Edinburghs center. The bed was comfy and had sparkling white sheets. The bathtub was just perfect for a soak after all the walking we did. The kitchen set up was perfectly stocked with tea, coffee and breakfast essentials, plus or host gave us great info on local shops for any other needs. We got the inside scoop on some of the best local restaurants and bars. Oh! And a jar of homemade Scottish Shortbread greeted us on our arrival! Absolutely worth every penny, and every step it takes to get to the flat. I didn't want to leave this chic little jewel in Edinburgh.

New Town is a beautiful part of Edinburgh and Cornelius's apartment was perfectly located to make benefit of its bars and restaurants. The apartment was just lovely with tasteful art work and a nice minimalist feel. Well appointed so easy to turn to home cooking when needed and all in all we would be happy to recommend.

We loved staying at the wee loft. It was in an excellent location in St Andrews, very central but tucked in back from the main hubub. The loft was just as described with excellent decor and fixtures, all beautifully presented and very functional. We only stayed a couple of days but we were very sad to leave. Hosting was impeccable- very responsive and full of excellent advice and tips for things to do. Amazing break! Thank you so much!

10/10 location. Really couldn’t have asked for a better location. Stockbridge is awesome and it’s a close walk (~15min) from all the tourist attractions, but you’re more removed from that hustle and bustle and feel like you’re in more of a local spot. Tons of bakeries and coffee shops that were great. The flat was much bigger than I expected. Felt more like a US sized apartment than a UK one. The place could use a tiny bit more love, but who cares with the location that good. Loved the fact it was on the top floor. The floor was creaky so I’m happy there was no one above to worry about. Overall, it was nice and clean. Erin was nice, place was great, definitely recommend for the price range.

Great space and comfortable for my family! The beds weren’t super comfortable, but they worked fine. The flat is down some steps, but level upon entry. The host had some nice little touches for us. It could use a deep clean, cobwebs, a dead bug in the bed, etc, but main surfaces were clean. It was such an easy walk to so many things. A larger Tesco around 10 mins away, but two markets really close. We loved The Orchard, Stockbridge, Fika in the AM, and exploring incredible Edinburgh on foot. We would definitely stay here again.

First of all, Ryan let me drop my bags at the flat around 11A, which was SO nice, and opened up my options for day #1 sightseeing. The flat is in a great location: away from the hubbub of Princes Street (where I spent the first two nights due to a change in plans, and don’t get me wrong, Princes Street is great, but it’s hopping), but 11 stops (22 min) on the 10 bus from Princes Street, if that’s where you’re headed. Two highlights: 1) The laundry game here is STRONG, including a descending drying rack in the laundry room which I’m 100% going to copy as soon as I get home. 2) GREAT shower. I used the tub mat, because if I fall in the shower, it’s going to be bad. 3) Convenience store across the street, Lidl (grocery) within a mile walk. Take your bag to both, as a reminder (I had to run back across the street). Thanks, Ryan. I hope to be back next year for the Edinburgh curling tournament. John

Mark was a great host! super responsive and his place was amazing. Lots of tourists attractions around but also not too difficult to find low key restaurants and bars.

It was an awesome experience. The cleanliness was so great. One thing thst stood out was the care that the host had for us. Milk, chocolate and biscuits. So nice!

Lovely wee flat and host was really kind. Lots of treats left for breakfast. And well stocked with toilet roll, hand soap, bits for dishwasher etc. Dog was very well catered for. Garden is lovely. Lovely area with plenty of stuff nearby to do. Parking on street was never a bother. Would happily return!

From the start we had great communication from Ollie the host, the apartment was easy to find & just a few minutes walk from Haymarket Train Station. We had access to the pool, gym & sauna too. The apartment was very spacious & the beds very comfy to sleep in. On the whole I would recommend staying & next time I am in Edinburgh I will be booking here again!

The suite was very spacious, cozy and well equipped. The parking location is safe and convenient, and it only takes about 20 minutes to walk to the city center, which is suitable for road trip tourists or backpackers. Alan is very considerate and caring. He provides detailed information all issues related to accommodation and attractions. Highly recommend this perfect room.

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Great place for an amazing price. Ollie was extremely responsive an checked in with us making sure everything was okay.

Very lovely place to stay. We used this as a last place to stay after our camping roadtrip round Scotland. It was a beautifully decorated place with everything you could need. Check-in was very easy with the videos and texts sent guiding us through the process. The apartment was very clean. The only thing I would say was the place did smell very strongly of bacon when we checked-in. We didn't actually arrive until 8pm, so the place could've done with some windows opening to remove the smell. We did also have issue getting in the swimming pool in the morning as our fobs didn't work. We did message Fraser and he responded straight away giving us a code to get in. We was really impressed with the speed as we would've been gutted not to make use of the pool/sauna as this was the main selling point. We managed to get in with no-one else around and this was much needed after the walks. The pool could've done with a clean but this didn't ruin the experience. Overall, brilliant accommodation
