A lovely house for a staycation. Beautiful setting and ideal for bringing the dog too. Lots of nearby walks and a short car journey to Knighton with pubs to eat. Rachel was friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely few days at the log cottage. The surroundings were so peaceful and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Sharon and David were so great and had some very good recommendations for places to see around. I highly recommend the iron works! Can’t wait to be back!

amazing stay for valentines night and lovely views , me and my boyfriend loved it, uot tub was lovely , tea bags and cups/ bowls in property , we bought an air fryer so able to use all facilities! surrounded by nature and lovely waking up to sheep/ lambs outside when in hot tub of a morning. me and my boyfriend are going to book again as this was easy to find great location and amazing price

This place was fantastic for a little weekend getaway for my girlfriend and I after we just walked up snowdon and also did some paddle boarding on the Lake. Such a relaxing place to be after a very active weekend. 100% will look to go again

Had an amazing stay here!! The views are beautiful, it was a great place to have some winding down time with my boyfriend! The lodge was spotless, the modern interior and the added touch of the Bluetooth sound system whilst in the hot tub was great. Will definitely be returning soon!

Another lovley stay at Darren and Lindsay's place. This time it was the cabin which is my favourite. Extremely private, fabulous views. Place was exceptionally clean with everything you need. Hot tub literally just outside sliding doors. Gorgeous deep bath and fab shower. Grateful for bottle of wine too 😌 100% will stay again

Absolutely loved staying here last weekend. It was everything we wanted; peaceful, cosy & relaxing! The space inside is perfect, the bed is comfy, the wifi and Netflix work perfectly. Outside you can feed the alpacas and sheep, which was my perfect Saturday morning! The bath outside was perfect (there’s probably only enough hot water to fill once as I did try top it up but was met with cold water), and it’s private enough so even with other guests in the other lodges you can’t hear/ see them. The hot water is a little iffy but the instructions in the book helped massively as we realised you couldn’t put it on full heat immediately. The only thing I’d suggest is potentially getting an air fryer as we struggled with getting things we could eat without an oven! Absolutely 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Simply, stunning location, nestled in the nether regions of North Wales, amongst so much beautiful nature and countryside. Easily accessible to lots of wonderful attractions within the area and the two chaps looking after the grounds were a fantastic help. I can’t wait to return and actually want to live there!!!

Beautiful cabin! Wonderful peaceful stay! Clean facilities and lovely host! We arrived to find the cabin all ready for us, the kitchen is full of all amenities and the bathroom is spotless. We booked last minute and had a wonderful time! We will be back! Thanks Sian!

Fab stay in a beautiful place! Sharon was easy to get hold of, and even left a birthday cake for my birthday. Beautiful cabin, clean and has everything you need to have a lovely stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely book again! The cabin was clean, well equipped and very cosy. The cost was very reasonable. The location is perfect, 40 minutes from Mt. snowdon and 25 minutes from mid Wales. The holiday park is very nice and the dog walking area is great. I would definitely recommend staying here. Geoffrey was a great host, very responsive and his instructions for check in were clear and check in was seamless.

We had such a lovely stay, couldn’t recommend this caravan enough. It had everything we needed, we went on some amazing walks with the pooch and the whole caravan site was amazing. Would definitely come back again.

A fantastic place for a romantic getaway. Gaynor was a pleasure to deal with and provided suggestions for activities and restaurants (I highly recommend one of these - Sage Kitchen at Menai Bridge). The location is peaceful and quiet, and was easy to find using google maps. When we arrived the place was warm and Gaynor had kindly arranged for the hot tub to be at bathing temperature when we arrived, which was welcome after the drive. The cabin itself was clean and spacious, with a rustic and cozy feeling. The kitchen was stocked with all necessary utensils for us to prepare breakfast. The bed was comfortable and there is space to hang clothes in the bedroom. The bathroom had all the essentials and a nice big bathtub as well as a shower. Thanks Gaynor for being such an accommodating host. We’d happily come and stay again in the future.

This is quite simply the place to stay if you want a break from the hustle and bustle of life and to have a taste of off the grid living. this cabin not only makes you appreciate life In the wild but at the same time give you a very warm outdoors home feel. its a cabin, with the best cabin interior. a lovely log burner, a bed that wants you to stay in it and a lovely little seating area to relax on an evening. upon arrival, Sian was there to greet us, might I add with a bag of goodies. tea, coffee, milk and some jaffer cakes too! we had a lovely chat about the their farm and local area including where to eat and and take our dogs. we stayed for 4 nights, it felt like two we had that much fun. everything is as described and didn't disappoint. we couldn't of asked for anything more from these guys. it simply was a perfect get away for what we wanted. surrounded by animals, nature and hosted by a perfect couple. this is an absolute must if you want to Try something outside of normal life

Lovely stay, clean and peaceful. My boys especially enjoyed sleeping in the top bunk of the cabana suit.

This was booked as a last minute getaway with my partner and we honestly loved it so much. Sara was quick to answer any question we had - not that we had many as the instructions are already straightforward. It was possibly the best getaway we have had, for it was extremely peaceful and quiet whilst being set in beautiful surroundings. With it being so remote, the views at night were out of this world - pardon the pun - and if we could we would've stayed for longer.

An incredibly cozy and well-equipped cabin, perfect for a family getaway! It had everything we needed for two adults and our 4-year-old, who absolutely adored the swivel chair, and the bunk bed quickly became his favorite spot. The area around is perfect for relaxing walks, and the view of the mountains from the cabin is stunning. It truly exceeded our expectations, and we felt right at home. We can’t wait to come back for another stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Woolly Wood cabins. Peaceful surroundings in nature, comfortable beds, amazing hot tub and great clear sky to watch the stars. 100% will be back. Thank you Myles for a great staycation.

A perfect peaceful hideaway in a rural location, but only five minutes drive to Machynlleth town center. Secure private parking is bonus. Very ckean, well laid out and loved the extra large shower cubicle. Would recommend and use again.

Adam’s lodge was the perfect place to stay for exploring wales. The village is really quiet and peaceful. The lodge was clean and well kept. It had all the amenities that you’d need, many more than are even listed. Few dvds and board games for evenings. Would recommend to anyone and will book again the next time we visit the area.

Had a lovely stay! The cabin itself is as cosy as it gets with a lot of facilities for a small place. It's dead quiet at night and the area is beautiful. Easy to access via car, and it's a good central location for exploring the Llyn peninsula. There are three friendly cats that kept us frequent company, too! The cabin is directly next to the owner's house, which isn't clear from the pictures. However, it's not something that we ever noticed during the stay; it still feels private and it's always quiet. Would recommend!
