Sweet guest cottage in the mountains. Theme decor is very welcoming and comfortable. Gives rustic chic vibes. Feels spacious. Sofa bed linens and mattress pad made for a v comfortable place to sleep. Two bathrooms and ample hot water and towels. Up a steep hill, choose the one minute longer route up Possum vs Sunset road and it is not as twisty and steep. Probably not a walk to town kind of place due to the hillside perch but close enough that you wont mind the quick drive. We saw deer, bunnies and a bear in the neighborhood. Thoughtful host, lots of nice little touches (S'MORES!!!!).

If you looking for a great place to stay where you can take in beautiful surroundings, then this place is it. It was very rustic and semi private. We loved this place and all it had to offer. The host were very helpful and very responsive. I would recommend 10/10 for staying here. Thank you guys for sharing your home with my daughter and I. We will be back!

This was easily one of my most favorite vacations of all time. The tranquility and the peace that Nancy is beautiful property provided will be a memory that I will always cherish with my kids. Outside of the property, we were fortunate enough to take a pottery lesson with her and my daughter mentioned several times to me how this was one of her favorites experiences with me. In addition, they were kind enough to share an opportunity to hike down to their private land in the gorge gorge for a peaceful and fun Saturday afternoon. What an adventure it was and well worth it. overall, we will definitely be looking at coming back and absolutely be sharing this magical place with friends and family.

This place was wonderful. The open kitchen and living room concept made cooking social and fun. There was tons of land for my dog to run around. Overall, it was a very wholesome trip. Thank you, Connie for your wonderful home.

We had a great time staying in this cabin! The space was clean and perfect for the amount of people we had. It’s not too far out of town so it was very easy to go to restaurants and enjoy downtown Boone. The cabin felt very peaceful and I would definitely stay here again!

Our entire experience was amazing. Darren was extremely helpful and accommodating. The property is beautiful with a lot of things for the whole family. We will definitely be returning for another visit. Darren went above and beyond.

Our family had the best time. This trip was one of, if not the best vacations we have ever had. That is in large part thanks to our hosts and their beautiful home! We enjoyed every minute, from booking to checkout. We would visit here again.

It's a really charming, comfortable, clean, and quiet place. It has the best kitchen equipment of any place I've stayed: a large set of dish- and glassware, pots and pans, plush towels, comfortable bed. The host communicated well and quickly. I would definitely return.

I loved every second of my stay at the Creekside Cottage. It was so cozy & homey. It was so easy to relax and feel right at home. Robert did an amazing job at maintaining the home and providing everything a guest could need. I will definitely be back and I strongly recommend this stay to everyone!

We had a wonderful stay for the night we were there. The owners were always very responsive and nice. The house was clean and the master bed was comfortable. The only downside is that we had to pay $211 for just a night stay, so I would say that it is overpriced for the place. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

It’s a great location. Not too far out of town. We loved reading on the screened in porch and listening to the water flowing in the creek. Hiking on the Appalachian trail up at Roan mountain was one reason we came here. The house had everything we needed. We brought food and cooked all our meals at the house.

We had a short but great visit! The house was just as described. Everything we needed was there! Loved the scenery, and the cows were an added bonus! My daughter loved the pirate ship play area. We hope to be back again this fall!

Our stay at Sherry's place was perfect for two days of skiing. It's less than 15 minutes to Sugar Mountain. Sherry's is very engaged and responsive to communication. Thanks so much for the stay!

Everything was beyond perfect for our entire stay. The river and fire pit are in such a great location. There is a small little waterfall with a spot to cold plunge which my partner loved. The trip we took to the farm was also so much fun as well. I got myself a beanie made from one of their amazing alpaca furs which is so comfy! We highly recommend this spot to anyone staying in the Jefferson/Boone/Blowing Rock area. Thank you for your hospitality!

Beautiful house and perfect size for our family with 4 grandchildren and 5 adults. I loved the view from the side porch. It was very close to a grocery store and downtown Boone. We had a wonderful weekend getaway and snow tubing.

We came to Bristol for a family celebration, 80th birthday party for my husband’s grandmother and also his 40th birthday. We wanted to be close by but also have some time to ourselves. The cottage on the Holston river was lovely. A beautiful view of the mountains and river. A very quiet area. The cottage was cozy and well appointed just perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed the fire pit nightly, went for hikes at the TVA trails and dam and checked out some local restaurants in Bristol and Abingdon. We highly recommend the Lumac rooftop at night and the girl and raven for coffee and lunch. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful with suggestions about local fishing spots and getting us firewood. We hope to return to this sweet cottage and the peacefulness we enjoyed during this stay in the future.
