We stayed over Christmas, gorgeous house, didn’t need to use the car at all, very central location. Lyn was a great host, will definitely book again.

Jade was a very helpful host. The area is traditional for the area, lovely nature reserve on back of rear garden for walks. The cottage is just lovely. Warm and cosy. We will definitely return here.

No complaints about the stay and we would definitely stay here again. Host is great and her communication is really efficient.

Wow, what a location! We enjoyed the lake so much, it was a very peaceful place to stay. The house is warm, clean and comfortable, had everything we needed and the treat tray was very enjoyable. Altogether a great stay, thank you so much. Can’t wait to come back and watch the beautiful swans again 😍

An excellent property in a quiet location, but walking distance to lots of eateries. A good base if you are travelling in Liverpool/Manchester and Lancashire. Clean and warm. Easy access and enough parking for 2 vehicles on the drive.

Exactly as described, lovely and quirky little flat in the heart of Southport. If planning to cook, I recommend bringing whatever pans and pots you need, and don’t forget coffee and milk. Host Maddie was very responsive and when I messaged her about something we needed, she had sorted it within half an hour of me messaging and enquiring.

Rooms are comfortable and clean. Slightly smaller than expected but have everything you need. Within walking distance of restaurants and amenities. Car parking is available but spaces are limited although on-street parking is an option (fees apply). Overall, an enjoyable stay. Jo is very responsive and quick to resolve any issues.

Would definitely recommend this accommodation and Darren as a host! Darren kindly provided tea/coffee/milk and even bought us chocolate as a welcome gift! Darren also allowed for an early check in and was always fast to reply and provided very clear instructions on finding and getting into the accommodation. Has all the listed amenities and a really comfortable bed, a great location very close to the beach, would certainly recommend for a weekend away!

Beautiful spacious apartment, with every need perfectly catered for. From the coffee machine to the keyless entry (great idea) to parking. Comfy beds. Large rooms. Location is great, easy walking to everything in town and perfect to explore further afield. Communication brilliant. Perfect.

I had such a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, cozy, and had everything i needed for a comfortable visit. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, making check-in a breeze and offering helpful local tips. The area was peaceful and charming, perfect for a relaxing getaway. I especially enjoyed the little personal touches that made the space feel warm and welcoming. Would absolutely love to come back again!

Perfect location for a trip to the beach! Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Comfortable beds and nice and warm. Convenient for train station to Liverpool or Southport. Great little place to stay!

Patty’s Barn was a lovely stay for our family. Michelle was very friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. The place we stayed at was cosy and full of character, with great facilities for us to use on site.

Absolutely stunning cottage. Amazing location with beautiful views. Cottage was immaculate with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We had a lovely short stay we used the games room which is a fabulous resource. Garstang is a short drive away if you want to eat out but to be honest if you want a quiet break in beautiful surroundings this is your place. We are already looking at returning next spring 🙂

A fab stay at Patty’s Barn in beautiful surroundings. We loved watching parachutists jump out of the plane at the nearby airfield, sitting on the swings overlooking beautiful views and chilling in the hot tub. Our toddler loved the Games Room and scooter and felt right at home here. Michelle gave us great local recommendations and we were even able to buy Angus’s eggs on site. All in all, a lovely stay and just what we needed. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at Patty's Barn, loved the rural location, great for cycling and walking. The accommodation was perfect - clean, well equipped and a good size. Michelle was a generous host, always friendly and ready to offer ideas and recommendations. Our kids, 11 and 13, loved the games room and kept them occupied for hours. We also loved watching the sky divers land at the centre next door!

A beautiful charming, little cottage in a stunning location. Sam's directions were spot on and he was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time, the hot tub was great and the chickens, Babs and Marge were adorable. Highly recommended.

The location and surroundings were perfect for our family. The games room was a nice addition for the children to enjoy. Michelle was always close by if we needed any help. The outside setting was really nice with plenty of seating areas available. The skydiving centre was located opposite the cottage and we were able to see the planes take off and land as well as the parachutes landing. Would happily recommend Michelles Cottage.
