Me, my partner and kids had a lovely stay here. Place was spotless, nice and big, then with the added hot tub and sauna. All exactly what we all needed after a couple of days at Alton towers. Scott was very quick to respond with any questions we ask. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay.

The Old Barn is spacious and comfortable - just watch for some low hanging lights if you are tall! The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. The hot tub is great and the whole place is private. There is a narrow, steep track to get down to the lodges, but the roads and parking on the site itself are good.

We had a lovely stay at this property, it was remote and quiet which was perfect for a couples overnight getaway. The hot tub was the highlight and we loved how there was lights and curtains so you could stay in after dark and also have some privacy. Everywhere was clean and tidy and there was every utensil available to make dinner in the evening, tea coffee milk and biscuits were also a lovely touch, we would definitely recommend! An absolute hidden gem! Never stayed in such a homely, cosy, relaxing, perfect cottage. Clean comfortable and homely. Had the dog and two young children with us yet didn't feel on edge as house uncluttered. We all enjoyed time in the hot tub and games in the safe garden.

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at Sarah and Mark's property. The location was ideal for us, as we were visiting family in the area, but we were also able to enjoy serenity at the cottage between visiting. From the cottage we could walk our dogs peacefully up the road (a huge bonus for us as they need a quiet life), and I managed a long run from the doorstep - discovered some fab trails. The cottage had everything we needed and overall was a very relaxing stay. Sarah and Mark were responsive throughout too, always helpful and friendly - they even offered a late checkout, as no guests staying directly after us, which was incredibly thoughtful. Would definitely come back again. Thank you!

The perfect place to stay if looking for a pad within the peak district. The cottage is easy to spot at the top of Hayfield and feels like home as soon as you walk in. Highly recommend if looking for a quiet stay within Hayfield or starting out any trail walks as this is the best location within the Peak District.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Allie’s cosy cottage in such a beautiful spot in the peaks! The property was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and full of charm, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. The view from the kitchen was stunning... and a real bonus was getting to say hi to the lambs on the farm, which made the experience even more special. The Homestead was a lovely place to stay in what in our opinion is one of the nicest villages in The Peak District. The cottage exceeded our expectations, even after reading the many glowing reviews. It was homely and welcoming, yet spacious and very well-equipped. Every room was thoughtfully presented. We especially liked cooking in the impressive kitchen and relaxing during the cold evenings in the warm and comforting lounge. Judith is a fantastic host. Her communication was excellent, all instructions clear. It is obvious the she is both an experienced and caring host of many years. Finally a quick shout out for the location. For those that are perhaps new to The Peak District and wondering which part to stay in, Tideswell gets our votes. Wonderful dales walks can be accessed from the village and it is within 15 minutes drive of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Bakewell and Buxton. We couldn't recommend more highly. When we return to this area, we know where we shall be staying again.

Chimney Cottage was everything we expected and more. A gorgeous cottage in a quiet village with fabulous walks and scenery. The cottage was clean, cosy and very homely. We loved the log fire in the evening and the shower was fantastic! Would definitely recommend.

An amazing property, best I’ve booked on Airbnb. Beautifully presented, extremely clean and very well stocked. You can tell the love and care that has gone into creating this rental and Julie clearly has very good taste. Everything you could possibly need - Julie has included it and she’s gone the extra mile with lovely extra touches. The cottage is well located right in the heart of Tideswell with walks and restaurants on your doorstep. If you have a dog, the boot room outside is fantastic with its warm shower and Julie even supplies dog towels and shampoo. I cannot recommend this property enough and we’ll most certainly be back!

Such a lovely weekend at Debbie’s house! We were lucky with the weather so made use of the summer house by the river. 5 minutes walk to the pub where we had a good evening meal and breakfast on the Saturday morning before doing a beautiful walk from the house. The house was even more lovely than the photos with super comfy beds, lots of equipment in the kitchen, gorgeous views from the back. We’d definitely book again - 10 out of 10!

Tracy was a great host with excellent communication. The Crooked Nook is lovely for 2-3 + our dog. Really well appointed kitchen and lots of useful guide books with every type of activity catered for. Fun to go old school with the CD player and CDs.

This cottage is adorable and the surrounding views were amazing. The cottage itself was spotless and the amenities were second to none. So many peaceful walks and walkable restaurants. If I am back in the area at all I would definitely stay here again. Could not fault it in any way! Thanks Francesca

Me and my partner had an absolutely perfect stay at Jill’s place. Jill’s communication was excellent with loads of information provided on the check in and the local area. She also left us some eggs and milk and also some mini eggs as it was Easter which was so sweet of her. The cabin was spotless and cosy and the bed was super comfy. Everything was perfect and I would highly recommend staying here. The area is stunning with plenty of walks right at your doorstep. The nags head, which is a one minute walk away, does amazing food and is such a cozy place to have a drink after a long walk.

A really lovely place in a stunning location, very peaceful and quiet and was very comfortable and clean. Would certainty stay there again.

The nest was ideal for what I needed, a relaxing place to stay for a 60th birthday although it would have also been ideal for any reason to come to Huddersfield. It is definitely cosy, but it has everything you need, a spacious bedroom, a clean and tidy bathroom, a quirky retro lounge and a compact kitchen. Will definitely book again when I'm back in the area.

Lovely cosy cottage. Lots of provisions in the cupboards and milk in the fridge- ready to start your holiday immediately. Add to this a very responsive host, a beautiful village and magnificent surroundings I can only say - “highly recommend” Catherine

Martin and Gill had thought of everything we could need and more at Gem Cottage. All was clean, new, cozy, quiet and peaceful. The location was perfect for starting hikes in every direction and to various places in the village. We will be back and will choose Gem Cottage again. This is the nicest AirBnB we’ve stayed in.

The cottage was clean, warm, cosy and fully equipped with everything we needed. We lived the views, the sunrise and peaceful location. Good use of the super TV and Netflix was made of an evening.
