The house is comfortable and clean and the kitchen is very well stocked! Unfortunately, we didn’t have the best weather and we had to unexpectedly cut our trip short, so we didn’t get to take advantage of the backyard or fire pit or the area! We’ll have to make another trip to explore!

Dan was very friendly and responsive. The house is very comfortable and spacious, great for a group or family who wants to enjoy the peaceful nature of Bosque county while still having access to small town amenities. The kitchen is great for preparing meals, with plenty of utensils and cookware all placed in thoughtfully labeled cabinets and drawers. There is an outdoor gas grill that overlooks the property with great views and a patio nearby to enjoy a meal outdoors. The property itself has well defined walking trails over rolling hills that we all really enjoyed. Definitely a relaxing and enjoyable stay, thank you Dan!

great little place to stay that is well worth the noney

Very cozy home nestled in a lakes side community, there’s a boat ramp just within walking distance . The master bedroom has an impressive surprise of a huge tiled walk down in shower. As well as a door that goes straight to the screened in porch I found more than convenient. The parking is plentiful, my team had three vehicles and an enclosed trailer . No issues with space at all there was room for more . You could easily have three full truck and boat rigs parked here maybe 4 . Best part for me was the security on the property, it has cameras all around it which made me feel secure about being there and my possessions being safe outside . I use air bnb on a monthly basis and this is most definitely a property I will use again when in the area . The host is extremely helpful and friendly , I highly recommend if you’re in the area. We enjoyed our weekend at the Cabin in the Woods. It was very cozy and private. The surrounding trees are gorgeous and the weather was perfect for dining on the patio. All the furniture is very comfortable from the couch to the bed. Brandi was an excellent host!

The house was exactly as advertised and even better. Erika was always very friendly and nice throughout our stay. The house is located in a beautiful area with great nature views. We only ran into an issue with the heater not working during our stay, but Erika and her husband tried to resolve the issue. Other than that our stay was perfect, we hope that we can return.

Such a nice cottage for a few days away. Clean and comfortable furnishings inside and outside. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the doves in the neighborhood. The lake was an easy walk and the whole area was Clean and felt safe. Jason and Kat are so helpful with recommendations for places eat and towns to visit. Clifton is a very nice small town with a little shopping and places To eat. Thanks for letting us stay! Definitely super hosts!

My college group gets together twice a year (April/October). We recently lost our "go to" place because of a sale, and really struggled to find a comparable substitute. Luckily, we found Brittnie's place. The property (acreage that borders Lake Whitney) and house(s) were perfect for our needs while also being clean and comfortable. The large main room is truly amazing and the ping pong table/pool table/shuffleboard table were all great. We will not have to search for a new place again. We had a great stay here! Everything was just as described, and we lucked out and got the place to ourselves. They have thought of literally everything, from extra towels to coffee options to setting out bug spray and lanterns for us. We were a little further from Waco than I realized, but that's on me! We cooked out for the most part and enjoyed the silence and time together so much. The bed was super comfortable and the outdoor seating was plentiful and nice! Camping in a safari tent with a real bed and floor are a good introduction for someone who's just getting started with their outdoorsy life :)

Everything was as advertised. Place was clean and quiet. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. No issues with anything. Loved the area. Will book again if we’re in the area.

My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and myself met there to go to a wedding at a nearby venue and stayed 2 nights. This was the perfect location since we were coming from east Texas and our daughter and son-in-law were coming from the Austin area. Beautiful views and very clean home. The pool was very enjoyable, too. Everything we needed was there. Would definitely recommend this place. We only had 4 people, but the home can accommodate plenty more. Thank you, Jessica. The outdoor shower was great! We enjoyed our stay very much. Mark was a great host.

Was looking for somewhere secluded and relaxing to take the kids and the dog. This place was it. The pup could run and explore for hours while I relaxed and had my coffee. There’s a private hot tub on the porch, fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and it all made for a very relaxing get away. Lots of fun memories with the kiddos were made and I’m so appreciative that I could bring my dog as well.

We had an incredible time! From feeding farm animals to the endless trails - needless to say, we didn't want to leave! One of my kids teared up at the thought of being unable to stay just one more night. We will be back. Thank you so much!!!

This place was perfect for our Family Thanksgiving gathering. While I wish there would have been more seating (larger dining table) it still accommodated our crew. It has one bathroom but was plenty spacious. The kids play area was perfect for us to be able to spread out as well.

The stay was nice. Thought it was on the side of the road by the lake but that was my fault for not studying it hard enough. Kelli was very friendly and went out of there way to bring us a grill because the one that was supposed to be there was missing.

Cozy little spot for a weekend getaway.

Susan was so kind. She gave all 3 of my children a peacock feather, provided breakfast for us to cook and really made us feel like family.

Nice. House fields like home

Wonderful stay for our family of 4…. With lots of room to spare. Very peaceful and private AND conveniently located off the Hwy (I wouldn’t have believed it either) Very very clean and thoughtful basics were provided making our stay easy and enjoyable without an extra trip to the store. Kids loved the fossil rim drive through experience so even though it was rainy we still had a great time.

Claudia and Vincent where very helpful. I highly recommend their place. Cute, private, and all the amenities .

This place was so easy to get to and perfect for our needs! It was so lovely, and had a wonderful old farmhouse feel that felt just like home. Grace was gracious and extremely hospitable. We would definitely stay here again!!!
