Stayed 8 days, place was perfect. Views to die for and is right in portie, I’d recommend it to anyone and would stay again. Hot water and A/C was definitely the best. It was very clean. Host were very responsive and attentive!

My fiancé and I had a truly peaceful and memorable stay at this lovely cottage in Portland, Jamaica — a destination that’s been on my bucket list for a long time. The location was perfect: serene, private, and surrounded by nature with breathtaking views of the Blue Mountains. The cottage itself was cozy and clean, offering just the right mix of comfort and charm. We loved how close it was to beautiful beaches and great local restaurants, yet tucked away enough to feel like a true escape. It was also very easy to find, which made the experience even smoother. We left feeling refreshed and connected, and we would definitely stay here again!

The place is squeaky clean and very comfortable. It’s located about 30 minutes outside of Port Antonio so a car is needed to get around. It’s just a few minutes’ drive to Winnifred Beach and Frenchman’s Cove Beach and Blue Lagoon. Overall, it’s a great spot to stay when visiting the Port Antonio area and we highly recommend it.

Ocean View Stay at Serene Haven near Port Antonio

Lovely spacious home with beautiful balcony views of the ocean and jungle. Off the beaten path, a bit of an adventure to get to the house but the host provided very good directions. Peaceful surroundings. It was an enjoyable, unique home to come back and relax in.

I liked the place from the get go. When I finally got there it was everything that was described in the listing. The house was nice and clean and had all the listed amenities. I felt at home. The community is very peaceful and quiet. My host is super responsive and very helpful. I will definitely be recommending to my friends and colleagues and I will be returning soon.

Sangela and Jason were welcoming and friendly hosts. They were attentive to any requests and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable in our stay. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone coming to Portland. The villa is beautiful with excellent views. It had all the comforts of home. AND more!!!! The hosts went above and beyond with their attention to detail here. The site is very safe and secure!!! A perfect location for accessing cook shop/attractions/town (or an ICE CREAM ;). I recommend a visit to Somerset Falls/The Rio Grande/Winifred Beach/Frenchman's cove/Blue Lagoon/and of course Boston Bay Beach and Jerk Center as well as a fish dinner (close by) at Likkle Portie. Endless amounts of Fun things to do, relaxation, and great new friends to be made! Don't hesitate to book this one!!! (but please make sure I still have a spot to come back! :) ♡♡♡♡♡ ☆☆☆☆☆ FIVE STARS FROM ME!!! Room TIP: Check out their new Top floor villa! Corry & Luekas.

Andrea's place was very clean, cosy and lovely decorated. Amenities was as described on the listing and easy walkable to grocery stores, restaurant (Roots 21) and fresh produce vendors. Great location at great prices. My only negative on this trip is my wish that mango tree in the front yard was ready so I could get some mangoes to eat 😂. I would highly recommend staying here to solo or couple travelers apartment not ideal for a family. Host is very pleasant, gave clear instructions and even gave list of places to visit while there. If I ever go back to Port Antonio this will be my number 1 pick of a place to stay. Thank you Andrea for being such a wonderful host. I had a great and relaxing time here.

Eco Friendly Oasis Near Beaches and Waterfalls

KerryAnn's house was perfectly located nearby the main beaches. The closest one being Boston beach, which was our preferred. It is really important to follow the instructions provided by her, considering that the streets that surround the house does not have names. AS for the house, it accommodate our group quite nicely, and space was quite good. She was really kind as host and even gave us a 20L water galloon as courtesy, which was super-welcomed considering that the tap water in Port Antonio is really brackish. If you are looking for a house for a large group and that is close by the main beaches in Port Antonio, this is perfect for you, just keep in mind that you will need to drive at least 15 min for supermarkets, so it would be a good thing to do groceries before handed.

The villa & location was absolutely breathtaking! The ocean sounds were really enticing! The on-site beach access was the perfect location for our elopement and Delroy was sure to be responsive the entire stay! The housekeepers were super kind & we even were gifted a complimentary couples massage that made the trip even more memorable. Our driver was also very cool & down-to-earth and was extremely helpful in making useful stops for groceries and food along the way. We can't wait to return (once the road construction is complete! That was the only downside... slow, bumpy transportation on surrounding roads... but that doesn't take away the 5/5 stars for the pleasant service provided by Serendipity Beach Villa!)

my husband and I love this home so much that this is our second time staying there. and we intend to go back again very soon. the house looks better than what's displayed. we love the new upgrade. it's very nice and spacious. our favorite part is it's close to everything especially KFC lol 😆 😋. if we need anything we contacted Elsa and she was super helpful and responded very quick. clean house n it smelled sooo good when we got in. the room and the living room. had a tv. we always had hot water. the ac them was perfect. Just my favorite Airbnb ooverall.

Michelle was extremely communicative and helpful. She even helped us facilitate ordering dinner for pick up on our drive to the property from the airport, as it took us longer than expected. Jacqui the property manager gave us great local recommendations and Deenwright and Patrice were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The kids enjoyed the pool and backyard amenities and the space was very private. The location was great as we were able to explore Frenchman’s cove, Blue lagoon, Winnifred beach, and Somerset Falls. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a more local experience than a hotel.

Sehr nette private Unterkunft. Die Wohnung war für den Preis sehr geräumig. Wir haben vor allem auch die Terrasse genutzt. Nadine und Ryan sind sehr hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns sogar Lebensmittel von der Stadt mitgenommen.

Ms. Marie was very helpful. She was eager to welcome me and my friends. Even though I was the only person staying. My friends were thoroughly impressed by the room but the bathroom was the icing on the cake. I believe it was the rainfall shower head that sold it for them. The location was also very ideal as well as it is in walking distance to the town, amenities, food outlets and entertainment. I also love how quaint but modern and sophisticated the place feels. Thanks again Ms. Marie for having me. I will be back.

Cherise war nicht anwesend, daspr hat uns Ingrid sehr liebevoll umsorgt. Die Unterkunft, wie auch der Garten war sehr grossflächig. Die Küche war nicht für 4 Personen eingerichtet, jedoch war Ingrid immer zur Stelle, wenn wir mehr Kochgeschirr benötigten. In Portland hatten sie gerade Wasserprobleme, wobei uns Ingrid auch hier supper half und uns Tipps gab. Unser Nachbar war sehr gesellig und brachte uns ein jamaikanisches Gericht mit Lobster bei. Am Folgetag bekochte er uns, am dritten Tag kochten wir für ihn. Es war toll mit den Menschen in Kontakt treten zu können.

We loved it here. The welcome from Diane and Ms Jennifer was really friendly. The breakfast delivered by Jennifer every day was simply amazing and there was no space left for lunch afterwards! The view from the big covered terrace was lovely and the sounds of the waves was very relaxing. Beds were very comfy, showers were good, wifi was excellent, parking was easy and secure. We loved the Ital…ish restaurant 5 mins walk one way and the Gurley Aston jerk restaurant 5 minutes walk the other way. Everyone was really friendly, keen to chat and find out what you think of their corner of Jamaica but no hustle at all. Portland is a lovely rural, green area and the road to Boston Bay from the west is now in excellent condition. Go towards Long Bay to the east and you will find some truly terrible roads but they seem to have plans to resurface them at some point! Rafting on the Rio Grande was great and the Reach Falls were very untouristy and enjoyable. We would return anytime.

We absolutely loved our stay with Birgid and Richard! We have been travelling for 6 months around the world and this is by far the best AirBnB we’ve stayed in. The view is to dieeeee for, I loved sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean, mountains and stars at night. The breakfast was DELICIOUS! Birgid and Richard gave the best advice too on where to visit in the area and helped us arrange a trip to the blue mountains to hike and Kingston. It’s so lovely to stay with such nice and welcoming hosts for our first time visiting Jamaica. Richard even invited us to play football with his local team which was so fun. If you’re thinking about it JUST BOOK!
