Our family enjoyed our stay so much! Vince and Donna provided everything we needed and we enjoyed meeting them and experiencing their wonderful hospitality! The location was perfect for us visiting our son’s family and a very short drive anywhere we needed to go. The grounds were beautiful and it was nice having privacy with plenty of seating spaces inside and outside. We enjoyed relaxing after long days on the back porch and would love to stay again our next trip to the Roanoke area!

My family & I only stayed at the house for 1 overnight stay because we were attending a feneral in Covington VA. It was perfect for what we needed it for. The house is very clean, and the beds were comfortable. My family & I are considering renting it again in the warmer months, when we can enjoying the outdoor amenities. Joan was exceptionally nice. She allowed us to check-in early so we could relax & get dressed before attending the funeral. That was very appreciated by everyone after our long 7hr trip from Pennsylvania.

The cottage was very quaint and clean and welcoming! We were running a big trail race on Terrapin Mountain the morning, and we felt lucky to find such a nice place that was nearby. The lights and heaters were on when we arrived, which was really nice to arrive to, and the place had everything we needed to be well rested for running in the morning. Hunter was very communicative, and check-in/out was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our fifth time staying at this house, we love it! House is great, location is peaceful and next to trails, and it's a short drive to downtown Salem and Roanoke.

This was a fantastic and cozy stay. David was a thoughtful host—proactive, responsive, and kind. The cabin had gorgeous views and beautiful outdoor spaces. Grateful, already planning to come back.

I booked this for a weekend retreat for my boyfriend's birthday and Rocreek cabin was everything we could have hoped for!! The location was secluded, serine and just LOVELY!!! The small details in the cabin were soooo perfect and just added to the experience. I love that she labeled towels for the furbabies and also had bowls for them. Our favorite part was the waterfall out back!! Having the window open above the bed and being able to listen to that while we slept was soooo relaxing!!! I also got Rhonda to bake a cake for my boyfriend's birthday and it was delicious!! $25 well spent and it was waiting in the fridge when we got there. Loved the area, as there was so much to do and see! Hiking sharp top, which was 15 mins away, was AMAZING. We also enjoyed the D-Day Memorial, which was also within 20 mins. Bedford is sooo quaint and cute!! This property and the area is a must see!!! Thank you both for being such AMAZING hosts.

Had a lovely stay here for one night when passing through. Kendall and her husband are charming, and it was a pleasure to spend some time with them and see their lovely home and farm. The guest suite is cosy, comfortable, and well-looked after. I would certainly stay again if I was passing through, and I can definitely recommend.

This was such a cute place to stay. The hosts were so kind and helpful! I would recommend staying here!
