Our stay was absolutely lovely. The lake and views are breath taking. The home was well equipped with everything you need for your home away from home stay. Kitchen products, board games, linens and more. The master bed was so soft, like a big hug. So cozy. The fresh air breeze from the lake at night that came through the windows, was so nice. We did not need to use the AC. The house was big enough for two families. We had a total of 8 people, lots of room. Just perfect. Michele was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The neighbours on both sides, were very nice. Everyone was respectful of the quiet hours. We would love to stay here again. Thank you for having us!

We live here in town and wanted to switch things up for a night and ended up booking the whole weekend! Sara's place was so perfect, toys and board games for the kids. the movie room! nice big dining room table for us sit and enjoy a home cooked meal awesome firepit in the back. Recommend this place 10/10 we've stayed at a few places here in town and this definitely my favorite. thank you so much Sara!

It was my boyfriend and I's second stay, and It was as relaxing as the last. It had snowed quite a bit so we weren't able to go on the hikes as planned, but we went to Missy's, made pasta, and just relaxed. If you're planning to stay at this cabin the summer of fall would be the best time!

This is our second stay at The Hideaway. It is a wonderful spot to relax, sleep well, take a great shower, and enjoy the beautiful forest from their deck. The house is super, super clean and both beds are terrific. The primary bedroom has a spacious bathroom and wonderful shower. The smaller bedroom and bathroom are plenty comfortable as well. Our family has a lakefront cabin nearby, so we did not use the living room or kitchen much, but both are nice and well organized. I highly recommend staying at The Hideaway!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It looks and feels brand new and is stocked very well, in fact it felt like they walked out of their home and let us stay in it. Not your typical hodge podge cups and bowls, but a nice set of well thought out dishes. They even had bakeware that looked never used and something I would have in my own home. Not your typical hand me down or something a renter had forgotten at some point. I would stay again 10/10 which is not an easy rating from me. I have never felt this way in any of the places I have stayed. If I built a cabin I would have built it very similarly. The craftsmanship, design, and furnishes were all done with care. My only complaint is there was no dish soap for the sink (plenty for the dishwasher). I’m sure it was used or borrowed from a previous renter, and if I had asked the hosts for some I have no doubt they would have provided it. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

My boyfriend and I had the absolute best time! Kip and Jennifer were so helpful in getting us up to the cabin (since my car with 2 wheel drive wasn’t prepared for driving up the snowy driveway!) I appreciated how clean the place was and loved all the amenities! It was truly a beautiful and relaxing weekend in the mountains!

Quiet, clean, well stocked with everything you need, and beautiful surroundings. This is a wonderful place and Kim was an excellent host! Thank you Kim...we will be back!

Absolutely loved my stay! If you are looking to get out of the city and have some alone time, recharge or whatever the reason… this is the perfect place. It was cozy, quiet, peaceful and everything I imagined it would be. The wood stove was already loaded when I arrived which was so thoughtful! The bed… oh my gosh the bed was hands down the comfiest bed I’ve probably ever slept in. We got some snow but Janice and her husband were on top of keeping the driveway plowed. They are amazing hosts and super friendly and welcoming. Book your stay with them, you won’t regret it!
