It was my 2nd time staying here Love the place and would stay again.

Easily the best AirBnb I have ever stayed in. This place is truly a gem - the photos do not do it justice. I had 10 friends fly in from California and they were able to experience Mt Cheaha State Park (less than an hour drive) and the calming nature surrounding Lake Wedowee. Thank you so much Philip & Lana for the amazing experience!

We were familiar with this location, as it is next door to a friend of ours. We chose it for a large family get together, too large to host at home. We love the location. It's very isolated and private, and in a stunningly beautiful location along a creek, surrounded by nature. It's adjacent to one of the premier bicycle trails in the South, the Chief Ladiga Trail, that we frequently ride, though not this weekend. We knew it was a beautiful home on the outside, and believe me, the inside matched. Plenty of room, but a cozy and warm feel. The kitchen was very well appointed with pots, pans, and appliances, and a large refrigerator, all things that we needed. The yards were large enough to toss around a football, and the back was well fenced for those with dogs. If you like a camping-like surrounding, but with the luxuries of home, this is your place. We will gladly rent again should the need arise, and will be recommending it to anyone in search of a warm and inviting place to stay

My kids and I loved this place. We played pool and pingpong and PacMan, went bass fishing in some nearby spots and caught several good fish, built a fire and roasted some sausages and made s'mores, and visited nearby Wedowee, which is small but kinda charming. In the summer this would be a great base for watersports, and during other times of the year it would be a great base for crappie and bass fishing, as the dock has plenty of water around it for parking a boat, even during the winter drawdown. The interior of the home has a fresh, modern vibe, and the kitchen is stocked with just about anything you can think of except the groceries themselves. There are only two things you should be mindful of if you're not familiar with the area. 1.) It's way out in the middle of nowhere, which is great as long as that's what you're looking for. 2.) The walk to the dock is pretty long and steep. It's not as difficult as some other homes on the lake, but small kids and elderly people might struggl

House was so great had everything we needed. It was so peaceful. They accommodated us on your needs. Such a great host.

I made a huge mistake when booking. And I booked the wrong date, but as soon as I reached out to the owners, they were understanding and kind and worked it out with me so that We could go another time. Wonderful people!

Brad was an amazing host! The home was beautiful, very clean with lots of room! Very flexible with our accommodations. 100% will be returning to this cabin. The view was beautiful! I can go on and on about how great our stay was. :)
