This place was beautiful! It’s very new and had no reviews, but we’re glad we took a chance. It was a halfway point for us to spend Christmas with family. We had 8 people and didn’t even use a couple of the beds! The mattresses are SO comfortable and bathrooms were pristine. The game room…it’s everything you see in the pictures and more. Our boys loved the massive TV. There’s also a full size fridge and bar area in that room. We hung out in there a lot. The dining table seats 10 with extra barstools. Lots of space to spread out too! We were pleased to see a beautiful Christmas tree as well. It rained most of our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the backyard, but it’s peaceful with a huge tv and covered patio and cute fire pit with plenty of firewood. My husband texted with Clint a few times and he was very accommodating and responsive. Being new, there were a couple of kitchen items we suggested and he was grateful. Overall, wonderful stay and I’d highly recommend it!!!

Needed a place for my family to stay in Ashdown for the weekend and this place was perfect. Easy access to HWY 71. Host was wonderful. Will definitely look to stay here next time we come to the area.

Great place for kids. We had 2 families staying together - each had 2 adults, 2 preschololers and a baby - and it was perfect. The master closet is a great place for baby naps. Well stocked kitchen including kids dishes, great open back yard to run around in. Obviously recently updated, but in a quality way, not just a cheap aesthetically pleasing flip job. The basketball hoop was a nice touch for our boys, only 1 parent was almost knocked out from a stray ball 😆 Great and well done space, thanks for having us!

Bria is an excellent host! Always responsive to any questions. Very accommodating and attentive to whatever our needs were. She checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed! Super host! 10/10! Recommend! Will definitely stay again!

Always a joy to stay at Nettles Nest! Gwen is a great host, the cabin is on the lake with beautiful surroundings! Peaceful, relaxing and cozy! Great for the kids and the dog to go exploring! Excellent place to stay!
