Absolutely ideal for our family of four. 5 minutes from a Tesco for anything you might need. We were also supplied with tea, coffee, milk and sugar which was well needed after a 6 hour car journey! The beds are very comfortable too! We all really enjoyed our stay.

Heysham is a lovely village and we stayed while visiting family in the area. Emma was incredibly supportive of our evolving circumstances and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Thank you Emma.

A thoughtful conversion from a boathouse with picture windows allowing great views from the first floor lounge. Very comfortable bed and quality bed linen,pillows etc. Small compact kitchen area had all the essentials and a lovely welcome pack with tea,coffee and milk also left. Paula was friendly and offered local suggestions for places to go. I will return.

Yvonne’s place is absolutely perfect. Spotless, comfortable and cosy. So peaceful to relax and for a good nights rest. A short walk to a selection of cafes, pubs, restaurants, shops and the sea. Lovely shower and comfortable bed with a well equipped kitchen. Yvonne was, friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Full 5 stars!

What a gorgeous gem in Morecambe. Location is amazing. The decor is beautiful serene and cosy and very clean. It’s a little home with everything you could possibly need! And the host is wonderful very kind and considerate

Comfortable space with great food in the pub downstairs. Plenty of space for all of us and wonderful showers. Lovely village location with easy access into Ulverston. The pub did get a bit noisy in the evening but all quiet by 10pm. Lovely coastal walks straight from the village.

We loved our stay it was really clean and had a homely feeling. We liked that the TV in the living room had lots of options and we felt safe with the secure locks. However not much to do in the area. Great place to stay though Thanks Dave

We booked quite last minute after deciding we wanted to get away for new year and so glad we found this little gem. Joanne was extremely quick to respond and gave really helpful recommendations of the local area which we utilised. The house is spotless and so cosy! Beds really comfy and it’s so quiet at night, we slept so well! Perfect for me, my partner and our 7 year old who loved the twin room.This home had everything we needed and more, was the perfect base for us but then felt like a home from home in the evening to relax. We ventured to the local pub Harbour Hotel for a drink early evening on New Year’s Eve and everyone was so friendly. We did the coastal path walk and went to the park (2 mins away) which was lovely even in the cold weather and also ventured into Conniston, utilising the Chinese take away in Millom on the way home. We were just gutted we couldn’t utilise the lovely garden area but have said we will come back in the summer to take advantage!Perfect host & home!

We had an amazing stay at Rebecca’s place! The property is beautifully decorated, spacious, and feels just like home. The views are absolutely stunning, and every detail has been thoughtfully considered. It was the perfect getaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend

A lovely place to stay for a family of 3, very comfortable large bedrooms, toys and games a lovely touch. Very clear instructions. A great, relaxing stay.

Unfortunately, the TV was outdated and couldn't support streaming services like Netflix, YouTube, or iPlayer. I would not recommend this place for elderly guests, as there are quite a few steps (as mentioned by the host). Thank you!"

Me and my partner loved staying at Paula’s place, a cosy, clean house which is a good base for exploring the stunning natural surroundings nearby. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area 😊

Great place very clean had everything we needed shops and seaside very close

a gem of a place, the location was ideal for beach walks and exploring the lakes. utility room is perfect for sorting wet clothes and wetsuits post wild swimming. Cosy, comfortable and perfect for a group of 8 (4 adult and 4 children).

We used the flat as a base for visiting over Christmas. It was always a pleasure to return after being out. If anything the flat is better than the photos suggest. It is spacious, renovated to a high standard and well equipped. Everything worked as it should and the bed linen and towels were of a good quality. The lounge has a bay window looking out over the bay. All the rooms are spacious. The kitchen has plenty of space including a large dining table. There is ample free street parking. Bare is a quiet residential part of Morecambe but has its own character. The flat is near Princes Crescent which has distinctive shops and a craft beer bar.

Great location and wonderful view of the sea. Had a great walk to Heysham, which has a lovely welcoming pub. Large flat, big beds. Lots of space.

The flat is described in the listing as basic, I think, but I wouldn't describe it as such. The flat feels new and smart, it is furnished and equipped to a comfortable standard and is decorated simply but tastefully with attractive macrame wall hangings and pictures and there are lovely plants. We also liked the design of the crockery :0) The things that make it 'basic' are not having a TV or WiFi, I suppose, but other than that, which the owner was very upfront about, we found it to be superior to other places that we've stayed at in the area which cost more. The views, onto adjacent buildings and roofs, aren't great and many places in Morecambe come with a sea view which is lovely, but the prom is just a minute's walk away to enjoy. There are pizza restaurants just seconds away and all the shops on the front and a bus stop less than a minute away, so the location is fantastic. It's a good place to stay and quite a bargain! Thoroughly recommend it.

Third time at Irena's place! Always a good stay. Spacious apartment with excellent facilities. My previous reviews have a lot more of detail. There are always a few new things, such as extra soft furnishings or an upgraded coffee machine. Irena clearly cares to keep making guests' stays great. Suffice to say I wholeheartedly recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights and we couldn't have been happier at this apartment, it had everything we could have possibly needed. Really enjoyed the big bath and the big bed. Hopefully we'll get to visit again :)

Fantastic weekend stay......the flat is accurately described and shown in the photos. Communication was excellent from the moment we booked. Comfy beds, crisp linen and fluffy towels. We ate in and the kitchen had everything we needed. Log burner very welcome as it was typical February weather in the Lakes! Pub at Hill Top very cosy and welcoming. Queen's Head at Hawshead too. Convenient and modern apartment in quiet area. Private parking was great. Host is very friendly and always responds quickly. Will definitely stay in one of her accommodations again!
