We had a lovely stay at Francesca's home to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. 6 adults and 3 children were easily accommodated, and the space allowed us to have a fun catch-up. Fran's printed information sheets were great, and allowed us to make the most of our time there. Friendly, responsive host. We hope to be back!

Lynda is a brilliant host and had tea, coffee, milk and fruits ready for us before we arrived. The place was very clean and felt like home. Kids loved the place and the board games. The icing on the cake is the location as, it is next to Ocean edge. She responded promptly for any questions we had. We have enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return back if we visit surrounding places. Thank you very much for hosting us Lynda, we had a great time.

We had such a fabulous stay at Carole’s place in Warton. The lodge was immaculate and so well equipped with everything we needed. The location was quiet, private and set around a lovely small lake. 30 minute drive to Windermere and 15 minutes to Lancaster. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

Lovely house in a great location near Lake Windermere. We visited with younger children and there was lots to keep them entertained. Although local play parks and the town of Windermere were not in walking distance to the house, this did not make any difference to our holiday as we would have driven with the children anyway. Brockhole park and estate being a great local spot for the family. The access to the local health spa was a great addition to the house.

Our group of 7 adults and 3 kids really enjoyed our stay. The place was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed. It provided the perfect getaway and we will definitely be back.

This was the perfect place for exploring Kendal and the surrounding Lakes. We parked the car on the drive and didn’t move it for our entire stay, choosing to walk and use the very handy public transport to get around instead. We arrived at the spotlessly clean and very well equipped house around 3, then had a lovely sunset walk up to Kendal Castle before using the amazing lounge for a family games night - loads of room on the coffee table and very comfy sofas! The next day we caught the 555 bus to Windermere for £3, it took a very scenic 30 minutes and we had an amazing day exploring Windermere and Bowness before returning to use the pool and hot tub at the hotel 2 minutes away, then using amazing kitchen facilities to cook a family meal and have have a poker tournament! On our final full day we packed some lunch and had a walk to Scout Scar - amazing views. We then had the one of best meal’s we’ve had at Pappy’s Texas BBQ - would definately recommend booking in advance. Amazing!

Family of 4 stayed 3 nights in October 2024 and it was just what we needed. Had some beautiful long walks along the beach. The caravan was home from home, clean and cosy. It had everything you could want for cooking a simple breakfast to Sunday Roast. Clean and respectful surroundings around the park. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

House was as described, beautiful setting with wonderful views of the hills and mountains. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and bathrooms are nicely finished with good showers. Kitchen is a good size and has all required implements. A great location for exploring the central lakes and soaking up all that Ambleside has to offer.

The property was superb, even better than the photographs. It’s ideally situated for access to Bowness and surrounding area. The views from the outside terrace were fabulous - even though the weather was mixed! The hot tub and games room were well used and enjoyed by our mixed age group. Overall a brilliant holiday in a beautiful home and David our host met us at the property and even allowed us in early!

This is a lovely town house in a central, but quiet part of Millom. Check in was straightforward and instructions very clear. It was clean, well presented and the rooms were very comfortable. We usually stay in properties outside Millom to get this amount of space and be able to park close by, so it was a great find and one we will definitely use in future if it is available.

First time we used a airbnb and what a good place to start with. Easy flexible check in. Kelly communicated well. Thanks for your hospitality

my sister & i have just spent the week ar Andrews place. it is a perfect little getaway spot for what we wanted. we arrived early on check in day and Andrew kindly let us know when it was ready so we could get in early. which was brilliant.Thank you! we were so pleasantly surprised how completley private we were, and felt so very safe here! everything was immaculate and we did not need for anything ! the only suggestion I would make is maybe 2 extra towels or take extra towels for hotub ( but that's a personal choice as I like a seperate towel for my shower. we cooked, we watched tele, we chilled, we relaxed and overall was a very lovely stay. thank you very much Andrew would highly recommend and would love to stay again when in Morecambe x

We had a great time at Canny Brow Barn. Everything you could possible think of or need for your stay, Ian and Anne-Marie had thought about, from a cocktail shaker to cleaning products to games. Would highly recommend!

Myself and my friends had an excellent stay at Sue’s property with our dogs. It helped that the weather was lovely but the cottage would have been so cosy and comfortable regardless. Sue’s instructions were helpful in finding the property and the cottage itself was spotless and well equipped. We have had a very relaxing stay and will definitely look to visit again next time!! The details are what separate good stays from great ones. Hause Hall has thought these through to the last inch and it boasts unbeatable charm with a location that provides spectacular views and proximity to nature. It would be a mistake to keep searching for a better stay!

Excellent location and unique place to stay at a very reasonable price! Parking can be a bit tricky as spots are first come first served, but paid parking at Booth's nearby is also reasonable and close by. Walking distance to a lot of dining, pubs, shopping, etc... Everything you might need is in stock at the apartment as well. Recommended!

Had a wonderful weekend here with friends. The house and view are even more stunning than the photos. Plenty of space for everyone to do their thing and a great location to explore the South and West Lakes area. The directions and house instructions were clear and we had a wonderful meal at the recommended pub.

Great large house in a close proximity to the beach and local tesco.

An absolutely amazing place. We found ourselves at home and with all the convenient amenities required for a great holiday. Very spacious and situated in a perfect location. Above all, Brenda was simply amazing, taking time to explain everything and giving us excellent recommendations. She was so helpful and always contactable. We will certainly be returning to this beautiful cottage.

Rosie’s place was definitely one for the list to come back to. It was very clean, warm and had everything you needed. The garden was nice and enclosed so suited our little border terrier well. The decor is lovely, definitely taking a few ideas home … particularly the bathroom. The wood burner was a great cosy addition to come back to after a walk. A great village location, so quiet and peaceful.

a beautiful home had everyting init, loved the hot tub and games room. it was spotless and so clean. Hosts were always on board and gave so much info and it was reassuring to know they were available if needed. we loved our stay and hopefully will visit again.

Great property in a quiet location on the outskirts of Keswick. House was clean and very spacious and the drive was an added bonus. 20 min walk into Keswick and minutes from the A66. Garden was great to sit after a long day hiking with a cold beer. One of the best Air BnB I've stayed in the Lakes

We had a great family holiday here, beautiful bedrooms, great living space and the hot tub was spot on! It's within walking distance to Windermere and only a 30 min walk down to the pier.

Couldn’t fault anything with our stay. The house was immaculate, fully equipped, warm and cozy. Communication was great. Location was as described, perfect for the town and local areas. Would highly recommend.
