Lovely spacious period property which is in a great location. Close to train station and Lancaster center. Situated on a quiet street with parking and parking permit supplied by host. Contact with the host was faultless throughout our stay. I would definitely return if in the area again.

Beautiful little house, it was the perfect size for me & my dog. It was quiet with private parking. The host had a little welcome pack for the dog, which was so cute and perfect! Thank you so much! Hoping to return in the near future, and will definitely be recommending to family & friends!

Great place to stay after we'd had a day out in the Lakes. Perfect location for walking distance to Lancaster centre.

Had a lovely stay with two friends over new year Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us but the house was very comfortable and warm with absolutely everything you needed. Lesley is a great host very accommodating and always communicates quickly with you would definitely recommend. We found some great pubs and had a few lovely meals out.

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was even better than described—so cosy and well-equipped. The jacuzzi was just amazing, with a beautiful view that made it extra special. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Just returned home after a lovely 2 nights stay at this gorgeous little home. The hosts were lovely and extremely helpful and the lemon drizzle cake was delicious thank you so much. The location of the property is stunning, so peaceful and although you are in the owners grounds you literally feel in the middle of nowhere. The chickens, horse and doges were all gorgeous and it was beautiful listening to all the birds in the garden. The property itself was perfect, cozy but with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away, and the dogs loved the log burner. Such a beautiful place, thank you for your hospitality and for letting us stay in your home. We would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

Wonderful place in a perfect location of Keswick. A short walking distance to the shops and the lake. Certainly enjoyed taking the dog out for his walk with all the parks near by and a stroll to see beautiful views of Derwent water. The beds were comfy and the place was nice and cosy. A good variety of entertainment in games and books for the kids as well as ourselves. Having our own parking space was very convenient. We saw a lot of cars taking forever looking for one. I will definitely look at staying again when we next visit 😀

We had a lovely stay at Francesca's home to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. 6 adults and 3 children were easily accommodated, and the space allowed us to have a fun catch-up. Fran's printed information sheets were great, and allowed us to make the most of our time there. Friendly, responsive host. We hope to be back!

Lovely warm cottage, beautiful views, and very clean and well equipped. We walked from the door, or caught a bus most days and walked back. We really appreciated membership of the Langdale estate, which meant we could swim if the weather was poor. We also ate out at the Langdale restaurant and Wainrights pub. Fabulous location and a lovely cottage. Helpful and responsive hosts.

The caravan was in perfect condition, everything was easy to find and use and a great place to stay for a trip to Morecambe or Lancaster!

beautiful place, so comfy and clean. really enjoyed our stay here. we booked treatments at the center on site too which were great. We were not a fan of the restaurant on the grounds but lots of places nearby to go to eat. would go again.

The cabin is very rustic, has everything you need-3 TVs including in both bedrooms/Netflix/utube/all TV channels/Games/Xbox-Alexa speaker-Kitchen is extremely well equipped-you just need to get an Air Fryer keep cooking costs down-beds very comfortable-a lot of thought has gone into the cabin and its facilities-The cabin sits on the largest slot on the site with a sloping wild garden, with some fantastic trees and a swing seat the views are very peaceful although my Arnie never got the chance to enjoy it my sons dogs did. There is a swimming pool and sauna on the site which was open but we simply didn't get the chance to use it and we could have had it to ourselves, were too busy out and about-Talbot bar at bottom of lane very dog friendly and met Dave the dog who sits on reception, free pool table also-loved feeding the wild bids each morning but wasn't a fan of the owl who was up and about each night-overall a little magical cabin and land it sits on. Will visit again-All the best PM

I recently stayed at this cabin, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The location was peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Lovely stay. Accommodation was clean and better than pictures. You are located directly outside the little pond with lots of ducks. We very much appreciated the duck food that was left for us to feed them. Sun rises right over the terrace area to enjoy the morning sun. Second bedroom is small but perfectly adequate as you are not in the room for more than sleeping and getting changed. Shower was hot with great pressure. Communication was speedy and friendly. Appreciated flexible check in / out time.

My husband, our two dogs and I had a wonderful stay at the Den, Littlemere Lodges. This lodge surpassed our expectations! We had a beautiful lakeside view which provided such a calming ambiance as we watched the ducks and the sheep beyond on the hill. Despite its boutique size, the lodge was fully equipped with so many amenities such as a washing machine, dishwasher and lots of cutlery. Our poochons were certainly welcomed guests, considering the dog bowl, towel and poo bags that were set aside for them. We would definitely recommend! One possible con (though for us it just came as part of the change of scene from suburban to rural life) were the winding single-carriage roads leading to the property which sometimes required reversing to a widening in the road to allow passage of oncoming vehicles. However even this, felt like a small inconvenience compared to the overall lovely retreat we had at the Den.

Wonderful to be back. We’ve become regulars! Home is always so clean and welcoming, the perfect getaway place in a great location, quite close (3min or less!) to Coastal Rd A5087 and yet in a beautiful quiet area. Elizabeth a super host. Thank you.

We enjoyed a super break in Ambleside, within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and even cinema, and the very handy parking just around corner was a big plus. The apartment was excellent, clean and tidy with well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and reliable hot showers. We would stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

Cute little cottage, within walking distance of amenities and a pub. Perfect for driving to different locations within the lakes. Lovely views from the property. Hosts are very accommodating and always provide a quick response when contacted

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here! Would definitely recommend and most certainly would visit again. Knipe the dog was a little beauty, and we loved her visits :) The accommodation was just as you see in the photographs, and the surrounding views are stunning.
