My girls weekend was perfect! The layout of the house was accommodating to both togetherness and privacy. My group was so impressed with the beautiful views of the lake, comfortable and cozy home set up, and attention to cleanliness and detail. Out of all of the homes we have visited for or annual Girls trips, the Boydton Lake house has become our favorite. Thank you Nanette and Natalie for providing such a great environment for special memories to be made. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful property, beautiful location. It snowed before we got there ao we didnt get to use the lake like we wanted to, but it was a beautiful view and our family enjoyed their stay.

Morgan's place was so relaxing and pristine. Everything that my family and I needed was readily available. When I return, this will be the place I would always recommend. Again, this was a great place and atmosphere.

It’s difficult to put into words how incredible our stay was. We had two boys with us (6 & 10) and our 11 year old pup. Mike went above and beyond in accommodating us the entire stay. We would like to return to Mike’s lake house every year and make it a summer tradition while the kids are still young. The boat house/dock area is where we spent the majority of our time. It was huge with plenty of place to relax. The photos simply do not do the space justice. Mike had tubes and floats available for use and a sound system down by the dock. Playing music (at a respectful volume) made our stay so much more enjoyable. The depth off the dock was 10ft, which made diving into the water so much more fun, without having to worry about a mucky lake floor. The kitchen is new, as are the appliances. It does lake a dishwasher, but Mike had everything we needed to clean/dry the dishes before we departed. What a trip! We hope to be back next year if it’s still available.

I really enjoyed the space of the Airbnb. It had a cozy warm feeling to it. I liked the high ceilings and the spacious kitchen. The rooms were nice and warm. It was worth the listed price. If I ever have family coming to town I would definitely recommend the space. It was a pleasure.

Alan's place was amazing my family enjoyed the covered porch and the view of the lake the kitchen was well stocked with every appliance you may ever need we enjoyed our time there we will book again in the summer

We are repeat visitors and plan to go again before the Fall sets in. Henry’s cabin is one step up from camping but still rustic. The cabin is clean and stocked with all you need. We keep going for Henry’s to get a mattress upgrade but it’s not a deal breaker for us! Our stress level drops by several degrees when we turn on the road to LOW!

Comfy beds decent pillows. Quite small but cozy. The included breakfast at the restaurant is nice.

This is a very cute house, and everything about it matches the host’s description. It was squeaky clean, and I appreciated small touches like the extra toothbrushes in the master bathroom. Check-in and check-out could not have been easier. A wonderful bakery (Jenny Cakes) is within walking distance. Would stay here again!

We loved the view of the lake, as the house is surrounded by panoramic windows and glass sliding doors. However, due to our limited time, I wish we had more time there to enjoy it. I ended up getting sick the last night there, which had nothing to do with the hosts. We went to Kings Dominion, the prior night for the Winter Fest, and the weather was a low of mid-20s. With that said, my medications didn't mix well and I was sick all night (bumper). We didn't even get to the lake house. Anyways, beautiful scenery including many accommodations that are completely spacious for family fun! : )

We really enjoyed having our family gathering here. It’s spacious, comfortable, and pretty well provisioned. The game room was a big hit, as was the hot tub, particularly after several (younger) family members did a “polar plunge” twice. As the father of the crew, I enjoyed a scenic kayak tour of the lake with my wife. The lake views from the property are pretty special too.

Our stay was wonderful for a big birthday weekend. So thankful for the time!

Fabulous house. Beautiful lake front location. The numerous balconies & decks allow you to enjoy the view. Everything was even better than pictured. Having an elevator is wonderful particularly when you have luggage & coolers to unload or persons with mobility issues. Kitchen is fully equipped including a blender & food processor. This was the best equipped AirBnB I’ve ever rented. This is a small townhouse community so very peaceful. Community pool (4 foot max depth) is a quick walk & has noodles & pool toys for use at no charge. Food Lion grocery store is a few minutes drive away as is a Subway (sandwiches) and the ABC store (liquor). Host was polite, professional & very responsive. Can’t wait to return.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location. This was perfect for working at ECU Health North hospital. I really appreciated the hosts installing a gate on the deck so I could leave my dog outside.

My experience with David was 10/10, he was very easy to communicate with and helped us out with anything we needed throughout the entire stay.

Bethany's place was great. The house and property matched the photos, was clean, had firewood for the fire pit and even indoor and outdoor games to play. plenty of space with 5 beds and an open kitchen/living room area. the deck and screened in porch was great. if I had to pick something to complain about the only thing(s) would be the driveway being hard to see/not really a driveway (felt like I was driving into a yard) and no blinds on the patio doors. even though it is out in the country it still felt like a fishbowl at night. minor things really. it's a great place. A welcome snack basket (or bottle of wine) would have been nice😆 Great access to the lake, community volleyball court & even a tennis/pickleball court which Bethany's place had a full set of pickleball rackets and balls to play with. Would definitely go back. I travel A LOT and it was nice to see someone put some money into the property/house instead of all the cheapest materials possible. worrh the stay.

an adorable place to stay!! very relaxing & comfortable. We cook a few time & found the kitchen to be well stocked. the front porch was our favorite for coffee in the morning. our dogs found the dog run perfect to play around & burn off some energy. loved sitting by the fire pit watching beautiful sunsets Fantastic cabin in the woods ❤️

This was our second visit to this house. It exceeded expectations like our first visit. George was very easy to deal with and provided top notch service. The home was well appointed and functional. Although we were in town for business, it would be a great getaway for any traveler. 5 stars all around.

It was the perfect weekend getaway. We had a great time and found it to be a great spot to just relax and enjoy the woods. At night you can see the stars quite well from the back deck and sunset as well. Overall, it was a great experience.

Felt at home. Had everything we needed. Peaceful, relaxing, loved our time at the dock. Betty borrowed one of the kayaks and got out on the water. Neighbors were super. Quiet. Just what we needed. Thanks so much. Hope you let us rent from you again.

Andrew is a very responsive host. He answered all questions promptly and completely. The property location is convenient to anything you might need for your stay. The neighborhood was relatively quiet and the local residents were friendly. The accommodations were just what I was looking for.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The dock and views were amazing. We also loved having a fire pit to use. The house was very clean and well stocked.
