I stayed here with my three sons, who are all in their early 20s. I thought they may be bored, but it was relaxing for all of us. They had a great time with the kayaks and the slingshots and all the other fun things that was provided to us. The house was immaculate and very nicely furnished. The only thing we had to bring was our food. The location is absolutely beautiful, private, and a great place to get away. The few times we had to reach out to Corinne, she was immediately responsive. This place was five stars plus!!!!

I booked this place for my birthday celebration and it did not miss. The house was beautiful cozy and everything I could ask For. The communication received from the host was phenomenal. Responded in a timely manner and helped with any questions. Sheila is very sweet with a great heart. I love how they take pride in their craft and show it. The views in the morning and night wonderful. I got the best of both worlds : seen the area while it snowed and was there to witness the melting process. The town is very sweet as well. Overall welcoming and would recommend a thousand times. I have already gotten back good reviews from The little things I have posted

This was the perfect spot for a quick weekend getaway. If you’re looking to escape the noise of the city, this peaceful & quiet spot in the country is where you want to be.

Van Horn Hollow was a beautiful place to stay. Christina was very response and was nice enough to leave us cupcakes 🧁 and drop off a sled for some snow action!!! We will be back. Thanks so much Christina

My brother and I had a wonderful stay here. Our family has a property without a house nearby, so we've stayed at all the regular places nearby, and this was the most cozy and comfortable place we've stayed, and it felt like the mountain getaway we wish we had. It was a 5 minute ride from the house to get to where we needed to go. The house itself is easy to get to, is very nicely equipped, and very comfortable. Kitchen was great to cook in. Washroom got our gear cleaned up after a few days in the woods, and the shower was as warm as we could want after some 20 degrees days. The living room had a ton of room to spread out, and multiple thermostats let us each have the temp we liked without fighting over the controls. TV was a bit of a challenge, but we felt that is likely the nature of the beast, being a bit off the beaten path. If having sone movies is a priority, we'd say bring a DVD player or a HDMI cable for your laptop.

This is the perfect place for a peaceful and secluded retreat! We greatly enjoyed our stay and found that the home exceeded expectations. Very friendly host who quickly answered questions and went out of the way to make sure we had everything we needed. Would greatly recommend for a relaxing family or group getaway!

A great place to find peace and quiet. There were lots of great trails on the property and we saw lots of wildlife. Nice to get away from the city and reconnect with nature. Host was very friendly and attended to our needs!

Great long weekend stay! Very private location, and great view/access to the lake. One of the boys caught a good sized chain pickerel! Access into and around property was ok for us but may be more challenging for younger kids or older adults. Beautiful surroundings and we loved views from deck as well as inside. Great sunsets!! Inside was more roomy then expected and good natural light during the day through all the front windows. Gas fireplace was useful and puts out decent heat but tricky to get going. Margo was quick to assist and help figure things out. Overall great secluded location with close enough access to solid hiking options. Really enjoyed our stay!

This was our second stay at Adrienne’s and once again it did not disappoint. The location is great for us and we will definitely return. Peaceful and private with everything you need, I’ve recommended this property to my family and friends.

We absolutely loved our stay here. There was fresh snow on the ground so it was a breathtaking view from the hot tub! Very peaceful place to get away! Good setup for family with kids!

The Hermitage was exactly what I was looking for. I would have stayed much longer if I had the time. There are so many thoughtful touches. From the neatly stacked firewood and kindling out back, the inviting deck (if it hadn’t been raining the whole time lol) and the decently appointed full kitchen, bath, laundry…absolutely perfect for what I needed
