This is a perfect place to go spend time with your loved ones. Away from cities and overall people. The house is cozy and has everything that you need and even more to make the stay memorable! Me and Henry loved being there and would have like to stay even more! Maria Celeste was very helpful to find us lost tourists from the mountains in darkness. And showed us the way to the cabin. Be aware that the road might not be for everyone to drive. But you can always leave the car up the hill and walk to the house. Ww would love to go back soon to the beautiful and adventurous place!

Laurence and Jorge’s home provided a peaceful and beautiful escape in the Douro valley! The surrounding village is small and quaint with lovely views around every corner. The roads are winding, skinny and steep - no different from any other small town or city in Portugal. The home was impeccably clean, the Murphy bed surprisingly comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. A fantastic spot!

Très bon logement, fidèle à la description. Hôtes réactifs et accueillant. je reprendrai ce logement quand je vais y retourner.

L'abri est rudimentaire, mais c'est justement ce qui fait son charme. Tout fonctionne bien et le dépaysement est assuré.

Bel appartement dans un village authentique, habité par des gens très sympathiques. La vue est inoubliable, à voir !

Die Unterkunft war ein Traum - so viele kleine Details überall und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet! In Mitten der Weinberge kann man auf der tollen Terrasse am Morgen das Frühstück genießen und bereits die Sonne genießen! Das Haus war sehr geräumig und bot ausreichend Platz für uns 5 Personen. Wir kommen gerne wieder - es war eine tolle Erfahrung!

Lovely 2 night stay to break up a long motorhome tour of Portugal and Spain. Luís’s place was perfect for us and our two dogs. It’s set in beautiful countryside with lots of local walks. The house is quite remote but has everything you need and is very well maintained. Logs are provided for the wood burner which was an added bonus and a local baker delivered bread to our door. Luis was a very helpful and welcoming host. It was lovely place to stay. Thank you, Luís.

La casa supera las expectativas: - Los espacios comunes (barbacoa, cocina, sala de juegos) son de película. - Las habitaciones excelentes, 8 camas de matrimonio, sabanas y toallas para todos los huéspedes. - En cuanto a cocina y baños muy bien equipada, incluso con una nevera industrial para enfriar bebidas. La atención de Adrian excelente desde primera hora del día. Atento por teléfono y todavía más en cuanto llegamos. Además de explicarnos cómo funcionaba todo y las instrucciones para hacer el check out nos dio varios consejos para movernos por la zona que nos fueron de gran ayuda. Viajamos para disfrutar de los carnavales de Ourense y alojarnos en la casa de Allariz nos fue genial para estar en un punto intermedio entre todos los municipios. Totalmente recomendable la estancia en casa de Adrian.

Acabamos de deixar a casa e já temos saudades. Passamos uns dias muito felizes, com muito bom tempo, o que deu para aproveitar a piscina ao máximo. A casa é bonita, decorada com simplicidade e bom gosto e tem tudo que precisamos para umas férias fantásticas Todas as pequeninas questões que tivemos foram imediatamente resolvidas, não há nenhum motivo de queixa. As nossas cadelas também desfrutaram muito, delirando com a quantidade de gatos que se viam à volta noutros terrenos. Nascer do sol lindo, espaço para sentar, ler um livro e ver o rio Douro, onde vimos passar barcos incríveis. Super recomendo este espaço e anotamos para voltar ainda mais dias numa próxima oportunidade. Obrigada! É um pequeno paraíso ❤️

La ubicación es en una zona de naturaleza, es un acceso largo pero se hace bien y merece la pena por la casa y las vistas. La casa es preciosa, muy cómoda y cuidada, los exteriores con la piscina y zona de porche cubierto son maravillosos. Los anfitriones son muy amables. Hemos disfrutado mucho de nuestra estancia.

Wir hatten eine super entspannte Zeit im Cabin! Joana ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, immer gut erreichbar und hilfsbereit! Selbst an regnerischen Tagen kann man super entspannen, da die Aussicht einfach wunderschön ist und man sich wie zuhause fühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

The house was perfect. The area around the house was even better. It's an awesome option to stay away from noise and rush. The assistance was also great. All our questions were answered in advance and during the stay. I highly recommend this place, and I'll be glad to come back. Note: there are up to 5 big dogs outside the house. If you're planning to come with your dogs, keep in mind that it will be difficult/impossible to spend time with them outside.

Maravilloso alojamiento, muchísimo espacio, todo super amueblado, con montón de cosas (tebeos, CDs, juegos), la propietaria no puede ser más proactiva, muchísimas recomendaciones y muy buenas, hemos disfrutado mucho, la verdad. GRACIAS CARMEN!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay - and Anabela was incredibly helpful with advice on what to do and where to go and was always ahead of anything we might need - before we even thought of it. We loved the place - it was perfect for our family of 3 adults and one child (10 years). The location was incredible with views across the valley and looking into a peaceful and beautiful yard. Our first day was sunny and we were able to enjoy the big yard, pool and porch, with a wander through town. And when the rain set in the house was still very warm and cozy with the pellet stove, heaters in the main rooms and the hallway - and we were able to enjoy our time inside and soak up the views through the raindrops. Definitely recommend - it was a great price for the incredible service, amazing views and cozy setting. We hope to come back!

10 jours merveilleux chez Virginia, une belle personne disponible, réactive et si attentionnée pour ses hôtes tout en respectant l’intimité. Le hameau est charmant, en pleine nature avec une piscine rafraîchissante en plein été. On a adoré aussi les 2 chats câlins 🐈😻 Sur les aspects matériels (literie, terrasse, ustensiles…), tout est nickel 👌🏼 Ourense (3ème ville de Galice) est à 1/2h en voiture et, Vigo et ses plages à 1h30. Belle découverte de la Galice pour nous, magnifiée par le superbe logement de Virginia et ses gentillesses 🪭🌿🌟 Calme, repos et créativité 🎏

La comunicación con Marina fue estupenda, respondía al momento y daba soluciones. Fuimos 4 parejas y un bebé y los espacios comunes son perfectos y amplios para compartir, además de un porche en la terraza que te da la opción de estar al aire libre. Dar un paseo por el pueblo también es muy agradable, eso sí, id antes al supermercado que las distancias son largas. De todas maneras en el pueblo hay una tienda con un poco de todo en caso de emergencia. En definitiva, tuvimos un fin de semana estupendo.

Great hosts make a stay fantastic. Puri and Paulo are certainly the greatest hosts we have encountered ever. They elevate their quiet and peaceful apartment by their incredible generosity and friendliness. We arrived late afternoon to a welcome plate of local meats and cheeses all of which were delicious and the best that we have had on our visit to Portugal. We were expecting to have to find a local restaurant for dinner - however Puri had a roast chicken ready for us due to the late arrival! A proper free range country chicken - full of flavour. The fridge was stocked with breakfast items including lovelly fresh fruit and jams made by their small company - some of the best blueberry jam I have ever eaten. Paulo very kindly found a winery visit that was open (during harvest) and booked it for us and suggested some view pionts we should visit. Quanta Terra is in a must see building with great wines and a perfect host. Saddly that we only could stay 2 nights - we will be back.

Vitor’s place was really comfortable, at the beginning it was a bit cold but later it got warm and everything was fine.

Además, Carles fue un anfitrión excepcional, siempre atento y disponible para ayudarnos en lo que necesitáramos. Su amabilidad y disposición hicieron que nuestra experiencia fuera aún mejor. Sin duda, recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que busque una estancia inolvidable. ¡Volveremos!

Espaço perfeito para férias em família, com crianças e com cães! Piscina ótima, muito espaço exterior, churrasco grande e fácil de usar. Cozinha grande e quartos espaçosos, com ar condicionado! A tia Maria e a Ana foram muito atenciosas e simpáticas. No geral uma experiência muito boa de fim de semana em família 🙂

Nous avons terminé nos vacances par deux jours de repos dans la location de Jorge : nous n’avons pas été déçus ! L’endroit est paisible, la maison est en pleins milieu des oliviers et des vignes. Vous pourrez vous y promener, mais aussi vous y reposer (hamac, espace détente, plusieurs tables et banc extérieurs, balancelle, etc.). Il y a une cuisine extérieure avec un barbecue très agréable. Nous recommandant ce logement d’un calme très reposant. Le logement est encore mieux en vrai qu’en photos ! Nous y retournerons sans hésiter. Un des meilleurs Airbnb que nous ayons fait .. Jorge et son fils se rendent disponible en cas de besoin, toujours au petit soin. À bientôt !
