The house surpassed our expectations. Located off the main road and it feels really peaceful and private. We can hear the sound of the sheep almost all the time and our daughter loves it! Upon checking in, the host informed us that we'd be the first to enjoy a newly furnished furniture for the bedrooms which we thoroughly enjoyed. The fireplace was also a delightful touch, and the host was kind enough to leave firewood for us. We really felt at home and definitely will return. Thanks for hosting Hugh!

What a slice of Heaven on Earth! Richard’s cottage provided a restful and peaceful retreat for myself - tucked away in Uig - but not so far away as to easily explore the entire island. I flew into Stornoway, stopped by the CO-OP for a few groceries initially but found the little store in Uig expansive as to its offerings and accommodated all my needs for the rest of the trip. The kitchen is perfect for meals at the cottage and the rest of the space very beautifully crafted and clean. All views in this cottage are stunning as well as the surrounding landscape. Richard was a lovely host, living nearby on the property as well but never felt intrusive and was quite accommodating. He was very helpful as to recommendations to enjoy during my visit. I will definitely be back to enjoy such an exquisite place!!!

We loved our little cottage getaway on Isle of Skye. This cottage met all of our needs and was in a stunning location. Was perfect for a quiet, cosy few days.

We had an awesome time, thank you Liz! The cottage is complete with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We used this beautiful cottage as our base while exploring Harris and Lewis. The Island is beautiful as is the cottage. The cottage is set in a picturesque area complete with sheep and chickens outside…. Liz even gave us some eggs, they are the best we’ve ever had! Liz is a wealth of knowledge and my wife loved hearing about some of the history. The cottage also has a big folder with information on the local area complete with places to eat and explore. We can’t wait to return and recommend it to anyone looking to travel to the area!

BEAUTIFUL We booked this place for our anniversary and we certainly weren't disappointed. This is the first airbnb that we didn't want to leave, we absolutely loved it and even more special for us to be able to take our pooches with us. The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped. The location is just stunning and private. Well maintained garden which is also secure for dogs. Opinon beach is walking distance from the house and we ventured to Redpoint beach which is just breath taking. We loved this place so much that we've booked to come back for my birthday in September.

A group of us stayed here for just over a week in August/September 2024 and it was absolutely fantastic. The house was very large, well furnished, and had a spacious kitchen and lounge areas. It had everything that we needed and I would certainly think of bringing my family back in the future! The total cost was very affordable. Truly excellent service.

I recently stayed at Sandy bay pod near Gairloch, and it was fantastic. The location is beautiful, with amazing views of the beach and mountains. It’s so peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The pod was small but very well designed. It was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed, including a comfy bed and a little kitchen. It was warm and comfortable, even on cooler nights. The beach is just a short walk away, and it’s stunning. The hosts were friendly and helpful, giving great advice about things to do in the area. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful place to stay, I’d highly recommend Sandy bay pod. I’d definitely come back!
