Excellent place to stay if you’re exploring Lake District. The house was beautiful, clean and cosy. We felt right at home. Kev & Shona provided all the basic things we needed for a getaway, and they were friendly and communicative hosts. The location was perfect too. Looking forward to visiting again!

We loved our stay in this house (4 adults and one dog). It’s a great location in walking distance to Keswick and meters away from a lovely park - great for dog walks. The property is well equipped, the kitchen / diner / conservatory space is large and light and there’s plenty of space for everyone. Garden fully secure, perfect for our dog. Keswick is a wonderful base to explore the Lakes, would highly recommend it.

What an absolute gem! A stunning home … we didn’t want to leave! I’m fussy and we agreed this was the most immaculate accommodation we’ve stayed at in a long time! Yvonne has thought of everything to make for a comfortable stay! Great location too … Just wonderful … we will most definitely be back … highly recommended ☺️

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was even better than described—so cosy and well-equipped. The jacuzzi was just amazing, with a beautiful view that made it extra special. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Annabelle’s place was idyllic and so peaceful with all the birds in the surrounding trees. Plenty of the garden to roam and a good handful of chickens roaming freely that like to pop into the garden now and then. The place was spotless and had everything that you would possibly need. I would highly recommend coming here! Set about 10 minutes away from a little village where you can buy everything that you need! Exactly what we needed and wanted! Thank you

The cottage was exactly as described. The owners were very communicative and we had no issues during our stay at all. It is a great location, nice and quiet very close to Kielder Water and Forest Park.

We have just returned from a weekend away at this beautiful villa for a family weekend away. Beautiful location with spectacular scenery on the drive in. The villa has the wow factor. Home from home, the hosts have thought of everything and we couldn’t think of a single improvement except for a guest book so we could write our positive thoughts and recommendations in person of places to visit in the area for other visitors to read. The kids loved the park, ducks and football court, they also loved reading in the villa and playing board games which were all in the villa to use. Myself and my partner enjoyed walking around the site and spending quality time as a family. We couldn’t recommend this villa or hosts more highly and we thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us so we could make forever memories to treasure. Stephanie, Scott and family 🙏🏻

Thank you Laura, Everything was just perfect except the sun hid from us haha. Lovely park with lovely staff and enjoyed the club house too. Amazing play park for the kids. All in all amazing value and well equipped cost caravan with internet which was a bonus 😊

We loved the remoteness of the cottage, the peace & quiet. Loved the pool & hot tub which is a must if we don't stay coastal.You definitely need a car to access any shops as the nearest shop is 2.3 miles and this closes at 5. No pubs within walking distance and some pubs only opened certain days and opened at 6. However that's what makes the place attractive & peaceful. Lots of places to visit with 10 mile radius. Great walks and historical sites to see. Beautiful landscape. Cottage was very snug & comfortable.

Lovely location to explore nearby Bellingham and the walking trails there. Accomodation was adequate for our needs especially breathing in the fresh rural air.

I had a very lovely experience. Host is very nice and her place is very clean and beautiful, i would say that it looks better on ground than picture...everybody there was very friendly. I was a bit scared because we are people of colour but I would say that I have never been happier

lovely jenny cabin, everythingyou need for a lovely stay. very private, the car was safely parked on the drive. every where was spotlessly clean. jenny was very responsive, very flexible check in and out. lovely friendly pub, food was lovely. would definitely recommend.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting the Lakes district, the Eden Valley is just beautiful and Woodpecker Cottage is ideally located. The surrounding area is beautiful and The Highland Drove Inn is right next door and the locals made us feel very welcome. Woodpecker Cottage is a cosy and warm cottage but it has plenty of space and a magnificent bathroom. It has all the facilities you could possibly need. Hilary and Peter are wonderful responsive hosts who were on hand for our every need. The welcoming touch of providing fresh bread, butter, jam, eggs and fruit was just great. I would highly recommend Woodpecker Cottage.

Spent the night here after a pleasant walk at Hareshaw Linn, it's amazing how close the property is to the car park for the waterfall walk! The hot tub was very private and peaceful, a lovely place to stay and I am planning on staying again some time

Lovely property, well decorated and equipped. Log burner, underfloor heating, and lovely bathroom and bedrooms.

we found a little gem in this cottage, great location to tour around, found some lovely walks with great views in the surrounding area, the roads are a bit dodgy lots of potholes so drive carefully, the accommodation was well equipped nice little touches like complementary chessboard,procecco, fresh eggs, tea coffee & condiments, we missed a freezer compartment in the fridge but managed for a few days break, the bed was comphy the shower was lovely and the hot tub was great with amazing views in a private garden for our dogs to run freely, there was little treats left for them aswell, ide definitely recommend the stables

Amazing overnight stay. Beautiful surroundings, the food In the pub was incredible. Especially the pies! Will be back again for sure. Hosts and everyone were so friendly, even being our 2 big dogs it was a great stay.

Nice little cottage nestled in a peaceful little village. Well furnished and provisioned kitchen amd plenty of space for put 8 month old to crawl around in.

First time using an air B & B, wow I hope they are all like this. The communication from the host was friendly and quick responding. Really helpful with recommendations for local area. When arriving at the cottage, we had a very warm welcome from Helen, the cottage was absolutely stunning, spotless, warm and cosy. Helen was an amazing host and took time to share her love of horses to my wife and daughters. My wife can’t wait to return.
