Brantley County : locations de vacances

Second year to stay here while in Georgia riding at dirt bikes and quads at local tracks. Always perfect here we love the place we had cookouts and sat on the porch after long days of riding then we gathered for some Tv before turning in for the night! Thank you again!!!

This home was immaculate and located in a very quiet neighborhood, which we appreciated. Jill was our contact person, and she was very responsive to any questions we had. She was so nice and easy to talk to. One suggestion we have is supplying additional pots, pans, and baking utensils for the renters who are staying for a longer period of time. Typically, I know this probably is not an issue for people staying for a weekend or even a little longer. We just happen to be there for four weeks and cooked a lot of our meals at the house. If we are ever in the area again, we definitely would stay here. Highly recommend!

Wonderful host, who goes above and beyond for his guests. We loved the location as we wanted to privacy and a natural getaway for an anniversary celebration. Will highly recommend for nature lovers!

Sometimes a person (or couple) just needs to go back to their roots, a South Georgia farm in my case. Or perhaps someone just needs a break from touristy hubs or the hurried pace of urban living. Mary and Marvin have a sanctuary for those of us who need such a refuge. Within a short drive, there are beautiful beaches, of course, but kayaking on the nearby, beautiful, peaceful Santilla River is a wonderful experience, too. Watching the sunset at the nearby lake and walking barefoot on the sandy country roads were delightful. The farm animals are sweet. Thank you Mary and Marvin for blessing your visitors in such extraordinary ways.

The cabin is so sweet, well taken care of, with special touches and design details all around. We had a lovely stay! The location is very secluded and remote, so highly recommend bringing supplies to cook meals there, which we did. Full kitchen & fridge, everything you’d need is there. Comfortable bed, too! Record collection, games & DVDs were nice extra amenities. Originally scheduled for 3 nights but we could only stay the final one because our dog wasn’t feeling well enough to travel the earlier part of this week. Worth noting: If your travel plans change too close to the start of your reservation, refund isn’t possible unless the host can rebook.

Mrs. Mary thought of and made mention to anything we may have needed without me ever saying a word. The sweetest and most thoughtful thing was the basket of fresh eggs in the fridge. I absolutely recommend staying at the Old Story House and will remember this place when my family gathers in Georgia again. Thank you Mrs. Mary and family for the hospitality!!

An absolute hidden gem! My family and I stayed for Spring Break and we felt right at home. Bobbie was always there to help whether it was just to check in on us or answer the phone right away when we had a question for her. The cabin is AMAZING and the pictures don’t do it justice. Our kids are already asking when we can come back lol. Thank you Bobbie for such a wonderful experience!

This is a place I want to come back to every year! It’s a great place to take your family, and if your a fisherman you’ll have a blast fishing the river that’s right out front!
