Very comfortable, modern and clean with everything that we needed. Worked out very well for our family gathering. Quiet location with nearby grocery stores which made our stay easy and convenient. The host responded promptly to our questions. Will stay here again in the future.

Enjoyed our overnight stay very much. The place was comfortable, very clean, well stocked with everything from big comfy bath towels to kitchen utensils. It accommodated 6 people very well. The interior has many unique touches with raw edged wood and metal. The location is great and the view is wonderful. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I highly recommend this air bnb.

Excellent value for the money and very convenient, nicely equipped, excellent parking. Host was very helpful with our extremely late arrival. We did have to donate a bath mat (seniors are very concerned with tub safety) and there was an issue with someone in the area smoking, the smell was coming into the bathroom. New Waterford is a beautiful area with very friendly people. You can see the ocean from the deck and it is a short walk to the trail along the ocean. We look forward to coming again.

The place was fantastic and very close to trails and Highlands national park. Ruth was quick to reply and pleasant to communicate with. Absolutely recommend this place!

Jonathan was so kind and responsive. We had booked a different rental with him but a last minute unforeseen plumbing emergency prior to the start of our booking made it unavailable so he quickly offered us this rental as complimentary upgrade. He was quick to communicate with us and he came by the property on request to ensure everything was working properly when we had questions. Very friendly and welcoming.

Amazing place! Hot tub was sooo relaxing! We didn’t have to worry about anything, extra linens, pillows, towels, blankets etc. were all provided! We had a baby with us, and there were soooo many things there that made it so easy! The baby gates were genius!!! We will definitely be back :)

We have been coming to Baddeck for many years, and this time we were fortunate to find Kristine’s place. Everything about the place was perfect—the stunning view, the immaculate house, and most of all Kristine’s wonderful family. They felt like my own by the end of our stay, and we will most definitely be coming back. Kristine thought of every little detail to make us feel at home, from the zillion channel TV to the coffee ready to be perked.

Excellent stay, it exceeded our expectations. It had every amenity you could want and then some. I would definitely stay again.

Highly recommend this beautiful spot. I reserved this for my daughter on her wedding weekend David went out of his way to ensure they had everything they needed. Knowing it was a special occasion he gifted them wine and was flexible with check in and out. If you get the opportunity to stay here please treat yourself to a beautiful spot and amazing host.

This was our second stay and it was perfect. Such a cozy space, very clean, and lots of extra touches to make you feel right at home. It’s a great central location to do visiting or sightseeing from.

Just a few minutes from the Canso Causeway off the Trans Canada Highway. Clean, comfortable, quiet, private, spacious, extremely well-equipped, with good heating and cooling systems. Helpful house manual with restaurant menus. Wonderful large shower. New washer and dryer much appreciated after a week on the road. Highly recommended.

it was a perfect place for our family. we were in town for some hockey games and this place was just perfect. loved the little added touches of things for the kids to eat and games to play. It made you feel right at home 🏡.

We loved our stay here for the following reasons: 1. Accurate description and photos. 2. The place is clean (especially the bathroom!), and equipped with basic necessities. 3. Close to beaches, trails, and Cape Smokey. There’s also a local grocery store a few minutes away. 4. Right beside is Coastal Restaurant (which was the best recommendation!) Food and service are top notch. 5. Clear instructions and easy communication with the host. Will definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting the area.

This apartment was a great way to see the Cabot Trail. We appreciated the location right off the main road with ocean views. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Place was very modern and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped. Great view of the coast. Rick was very friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay. I give this place top marks.

Catherine’s place is in a spectacular setting with stunning views out to sea. We received a wonderfully warm welcome from Catherine. Do not miss sitting in the sunroom looking out to sea and chilling. The apartment is spotless clean. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom a lovely size. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is a great place to do it. We wish we could have spent more time there We ate at the Red Shoe pub about a 15 minute drive away. Food was decent and live music on the Friday was very enjoyable. You do need a car to stay here but if you’re travelling around Cape Breton, you will already know that Catherine & Francis took the time to give us some great recommendations and places to stop around the Cabot Trail. Catherine also baked us some extremely good cake that was fantastic with our morning coffee. I’d highly recommended staying here

This place is beautiful! We really enjoyed our time there. I would highly recommend Port Hood Place! Richard was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay in Port Hood. Wish we had more time there to explore Cape Breton. Very easy to gaze out at the water and lose track of time.

Such an awesome place. This place is excellent for a big crew. Lots of room. The view from balcony is amazing. Would recommend to anyone.

The condo is beautifully decorated and inviting. The view is stunning. We thought the wine rack with “take a bottle, leave a bottle” was a warm touch. It was fun to select a few wines for the next guests after us. Unit is well stocked for those traveling with small kids, and those staying awhile. We were able to prepare full meals and even made cookies with how well the kitchen was stocked. Host is very responsive and friendly.

Fred was very responsive and helpful. The place was exactly as described, with a nice balcony with a view of the water. It was very comfortable and well equipped. We really appreciated that it was stocked with coffee and tea, and that there was laundry detergent available. The whole apartment was in pristine shape, and Ingonish Beach is a great place to base yourself when visiting Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
