We had a great stay at Marc's place. You are quite literally right on the water, it's so peaceful. Also such a great location for anyone wanting to do any nearby hikes or sightseeing.

We had a wonderful time in Cheticamp. John was helpful for suggestions about hiking and restaurants. I would highly recommend his beautiful place.

We wouldn’t change a thing! The house was adorable, spotless, has a beautiful view and Vee left muffins and fruit in the house waiting for us! Loved being able to use a washer and dryer, everything seemed new and comfy, not like “leftovers” being used to decorate a rental. Do not pass on this home!!!

Our family's return visit was wonderful. The comfortable surroundings, peaceful ambiance, and delightful welcome basket were thoroughly enjoyed by all.

This is a dream location. There are lots of windows to fill up with spectacular views of the ocean. The cottage is lovely and comfortable with an open space to unwind and soak up the beauty of the place. Lots of necessities in tge cupboards. All you need for an unforgettable stay.

Very clean and modern house with everything needed, down to needle and thread. Beds are very comfy, bedrooms spacious. Butter, cooking oil and condiments included, which makes cooking a lot easier when you’re travelling. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay here while I was working. It is such a cute and beautiful home, I loved all the natural lighting and how cozy the wood stove made it feel. I will definitely be trying to book here again if I am lucky. She books up so fast! The road driving up to the house is a little rough - but what do you expect on some back roads - I never had any issues or got stuck, just something to be aware of, especially when it is muddy.

This was an amazing and beautiful place!! My partner and I really enjoyed our stay!! It was very well layed out,very spacious, very clean, so cozy and relaxing. The game room was really nice and fun playing pool and listening to music. The loft was so nice and cozy. The soaker tub was very nice too and relaxing. On top of that the property had a beautiful ocean view too!! We loved it!! Definitely would love to come back and would recommend this place to anyone!!

There are not enough words to say how outstanding the experience was at Caper Landing and with our host Nikki. I don’t know what else could have been provided but a generous basket of gifts including a lobster stuffie and knit swag toque hats for all 10 of us set the scene for all the delights of the place. So many amenities, even fireproof blankets for the fire pit, the spa like bathrooms, the most fully equipped kitchen I had ever seen, all added up to a luxury hotel experience with Airbnb convenience for a large party. Both levels were unbelievably kitted out, with the lower level giving us all we needed in a second gathering space with all the toys including shuffleboard, games, card table and so much more. Two mirrored floors of beds and baths, with two principle suites and two extra full baths meant everyone had privacy and restful retreats. Everything was first class and beyond. We are booking our return for next year! Brava, Nikki, you rock!

This apartment was a great way to see the Cabot Trail. We appreciated the location right off the main road with ocean views. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Catherine’s place is in a spectacular setting with stunning views out to sea. We received a wonderfully warm welcome from Catherine. Do not miss sitting in the sunroom looking out to sea and chilling. The apartment is spotless clean. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom a lovely size. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is a great place to do it. We wish we could have spent more time there We ate at the Red Shoe pub about a 15 minute drive away. Food was decent and live music on the Friday was very enjoyable. You do need a car to stay here but if you’re travelling around Cape Breton, you will already know that Catherine & Francis took the time to give us some great recommendations and places to stop around the Cabot Trail. Catherine also baked us some extremely good cake that was fantastic with our morning coffee. I’d highly recommended staying here

The condo is beautifully decorated and inviting. The view is stunning. We thought the wine rack with “take a bottle, leave a bottle” was a warm touch. It was fun to select a few wines for the next guests after us. Unit is well stocked for those traveling with small kids, and those staying awhile. We were able to prepare full meals and even made cookies with how well the kitchen was stocked. Host is very responsive and friendly.

Fred was very responsive and helpful. The place was exactly as described, with a nice balcony with a view of the water. It was very comfortable and well equipped. We really appreciated that it was stocked with coffee and tea, and that there was laundry detergent available. The whole apartment was in pristine shape, and Ingonish Beach is a great place to base yourself when visiting Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
