The steps to the apartment from our parked car were as described. They are super steep & narrow. Not for kids, or if you need to push a push chair. Not for anyone with mobility issue. Apartment is super clean and tidy. Please be aware that this is a place surrounded by forests. You’ll get insects and slugs in the apartment which freaked my city son out haha. I think it’s because it’s summer as well. So if you’re like my son - might not be a place for you lol Really easy to walk into Lynton with nice cafes and restaurants. There’s only one tiny supermarket in Lynton so bring plenty of supplies. Kitchen is equipped with a kettle, hob, toaster and oven. A microwave would be handy. Bring your own oil etc if you’re staying longer and plan to cook. Bring your own toiletries although handwash & toilet rolls are generously provided. I think this place used to be a bed & breakfast as all the rooms in the Penthouse have numbers on the doors. Very quaint and cute.

There is little to say except that everything was as it should be and Susan was an excellent host. She even províded urgent meds for a tummy upset. Thank you Susan.

Just got back from a fantastic few days in Woolacombe. Apartment was fab, clean and tidy with everything you could possibly need including buckets and spades for the kids (huge hit) Location could not have been any closer to the beach. Views were insane. Can not fault Chris the host. Very helpful and easy to get hold of. Overall would 100% recommend and we are all looking forward to returning again in the future

Fantastic place to stay. A real home from home and flat has everything you need. Fabulous views from flat. Location great and lots to do in and around Ilfracombe. We walked over hill to Hele bay, tunnels beach, harbour side, woolacombe, Barnstaple etc as we only had Thursday to Sunday sadly but weather was quite sunny thankfully. Would definitely recommend and go back to stay here but be warned v steep and hilly in Ilfracombe so not for the faint hearted 😊would definitely recommend the food at the Thatched Inn and very friendly. Thank you

Caroline was friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The accommodation was lovely and we enjoyed the location and the stunning scenery. It was particularly appreciated to have a welcome pack of food goodies and advice on visiting a top bakery! A great stay and we would definitely revisit.

The apartment was very inviting, bright, clean and welcoming. A cream tea and Prosecco awaited us, with milk for our first cuppa. Everything was geared for our comfort and enjoyment. It was such a treat to be able to sit on the South facing balcony to view sea, sky and surfers, and listen to the waves on the beach a stone's throw away. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and high quality, and surprised to have toiletries provided for in the shower and by every sink. Amazing location for walks along the beach and beautiful clifftops and two local cafés and Sainsbury's up the road. There was no need to get in our car for the duration of our stay. We left rested and relaxed, and hope to return again.

What a special place this is. Me and my sister wanted to stay near the harbour as we know the area well, and Julie's apartment was perfect. It has the most wonderful views of the sea from the lounge and kitchen, plus the spectacular coastline from the balcony. As an added bonus the bedrooms look out over the town and harbour. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in and the apartment has everything you need - and some! It's warm, cosy and very clean; also so peaceful and relaxing to be able to sit and just watch the sea. Even though it wasn't warm enough for us to sit out on the balcony, we could still enjoy the amazing views. On the first night we enjoyed our fish and chips from nearby Maddy's and had a lovely meal in Santiago's the second night, which is also close by. It was very difficult to tear ourselves away after our long weekend!

Lovely stay in Bude, great place to base ourselves from and easy walking distance to everywhere! Lovely flat and great communication from Viki!

Tom and Nicki's apartment was fabulous, well equipped and with the most fantastic view. Tom and Nicki were easy to contact and made sure we had everything we could possibly want for a relaxing stress free stay. We would love to come back again.

We had an amazing last minute break here, we especially loved how there were lovely walks right from the door and we could also walk into Woolacombe to save finding parking. The location was perfect, accommodation was lovely and the hosts were too. Thanks so much for having us :)

This is the second time we've stayed at this place. It's such a wonderful setup, great for the dog and cozy all year round :) cannot recommend it enough :)

Lovely apartment with edgy decor which was loved by all of the guests. Big sized bedrooms and 2 separate restrooms. Kitchen well equipped. Nice touches included flowers and a hamper of goodies. You are only a few minutes walk from the main area of Westward Ho! The only frustrating thing was the cleaner must have switched every electrical item which meant it took some time to figure out how to work the oven and had to bother Rose to re-set the fire stick

Chantal is a lovely and welcoming host. We arrived to find a beautiful vase of flowers, a bottle of wine, milk, chilled water and an Easter egg! The flat is bright, very clean, airy and contemporary- right in the middle of beautiful Croyde. A stones throw from pubs, cafes, bars and restaurants and only a10 min walk from the beach we had a fantastic long weekend and can’t wait to come and stay again. Highly recommend!!

Very clean, and spacious. The location was perfect for us and we loved the swimming and games room. The staff was also really helpful whenever we needed anything.

The Appartement is just perfect: Stunning views from all the bedrooms and the living area and lots of space. The kitchen is very well staffed. We loved the beach and gonig on hikes along the shore. We‘d love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay in Woolacombe at Kathryn's apartment. The apartment was beautifully furnished, very comfy and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed using the pool and sauna. The location was perfect, very close to Woolacombe beach for dog walks and lots of cafes and restaurants. There are also lots of other lovely places to visit within a short drive away. Kathryn was very responsive and helpful and we appreciated all the local tips. Thank you, and we hope to return again!

The arrival was easy & property was easy to find. We went in low season so parking & going between the car park & house was simple. We arrived before 3 so the kids played in the little area for a bit. When we got in the house it was chilly, but the weather of late has been freezing wo no wonder. It took a few hours to warm up the house but we took slippers & simply kept our jumpers on. The kitchen was just fine for a holiday home. Vicky's communication before the trip was second to none! She contacted me not long after I'd booked to let me know the on-site facilities (pool, bar etc) wasn't open out of season in case I hadn't read it in her description. I'm really familiar with the area and know there's plenty to do in the area it wasn't a problem. To be honest, if all you did was use on the on-site pool, you'd miss out on SO much! Finally, I cannot express more the kindness of Vicky. We had car troubles as we were about to leave & she let us go back in while we waited for RAC. Amazing!
