Brava, Costa Rica : locations de vacances

It’s not often that the place I’m staying ends up being the highlight of a vacation, but this property is one of if not the best AirBnBs we have ever been to. Beautiful surroundings and property, clean, friendly and responsive hosts, and an incredible value for what you get. I would easily plan another trip to Costa Rica just for the opportunity to stay at this place again. Would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Costa Rica. You will not be disappointed!

We stayed a couple of nights with our 2 daughters of 4&6. We were very happy with this spacious place which had all the things we hoped (pool, kitchen, separate bedrooms etc.). Very quiet and beautiful surroundings with sightings of hummingbirds and deer in the garden. Only drawback was that it rained (not the hosts fault 😂) which made the pool a little cold to our taste and the “dark decor” of the house which necessitated a lot of lighting before it felt light and open. Nice and comfy beds etc. which is always appreciated. The local restaurant at the corner is worth a visit and shops are a 5 min. Drive away 🤙🏼

After seeing Alberto‘s listing, we decided that we had to book a trip to Costa Rica. We decided to split our trip up into 3 different locations, to have multiple experiencs. We chose Alberto’s location because it’s a more secluded area and we wanted to experience the wildlife without the over touristy population, plus the shower looked amazing, lol! When we arrived, it did not disappoint. It was perfect! And like so many people have said in reviews, Alberto went above and beyond for us. His property was gated, which made us feel very safe. We woke up every morning, watching toucans in the trees right by our deck. Amazing! We heard howler monkeys one evening and saw lots of different birds. Alberto provided binoculars and a bird identification book, which came in handy. Also, we were only about 30 minutes from the Blue Falls, which was amazing! It’s one of the few places where you can swim in the waterfalls where the water is a beautiful aqua blue color. Made for some great picture!

We spent our first night in Costa Rica here and we’re so happy we did. Maria’s treehouse is gorgeous and we felt so at peace laying in the hammock to the sounds of the forest. The sky was perfectly clear so we had an incredible view of the stars—recommend bringing a telescope or binoculars if you have! The location is a bit off the beaten path but still close to town and in a gated community. Santos the host was very gracious and let us in even though we arrived late. On the morning we left we heard toucans! All in all a hidden gem you will feel lucky to have found!

Logement face à l'océan, suffisamment loin du centre pour être au calme mais tout en restant à 5 minutes à pieds des restaurants et autres activités. La vue est superbe, on se sent comme sur une île privée. Seul bémol de notre passage : il y a un capteur de mouvement devant la maison qui s'active pendant la nuit (la faute au vent ou aux chats avoisinants ?) ce qui déclenche une lumière forte devant le logement et une voix robotique s'active également. Nous avons été réveillés plusieurs fois pendant nos nuits sur place à cause de cela. Côté accueil, le logement était très propre, du café et des biscuits à disposition à notre arrivée. La clim est un vrai plus vu l'humidité et la température ambiante. Dès votre arrivée sur Tortuguero, vous donnez le nom du logement et un guide vous emmènera à la maison tout en vous présentant les activités que propose ce petit coin de paradis. Une vraie expérience locale avec le confort de la maison de vacances en bord de plage.

Die Bungalows von Oscar sind wirklich wunderschön. Sie befinden sich in einem riesigen, super toll gepflegtem Grundstück, teilweise mit Rasen und vielen tollen Pflanzen und teilweise mit großen alten Bäumen, Lebensbereich für viele Affen, Leguane und natürlich vielen Võgeln. Eine Oase um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Die Bungalows super schön und gepflegt, heißes Wasser in der Dusche. Die Außenküche sauber und ausreichend um selbst zu kochen. Luis der nette und freundliche Gärtner und Verwalter pflegt die riesige Finca liebevoll. Die Bushaltestell ist 100m an der Hauptstraße entfernt, an der mehrmals täglich Busse nach und von Puerto Viejo nach Guapilles fahren. Ein recht gut sortierten Supermarkt und der Rio Viejo mit netten Sandstrand sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Für Naturliebhaber kann ich diese tolle Unterkunft mehr als 100%ig empfehlen. Oscar Alberto war immer leicht erreichbar und die Kommunikation super. Danke Oscar und Luis für den schönen Aufenthalt in der Finca

Allan's home was a perfect place for us to stay while in Tortuguero. He was a very responsive host and the location was great. Nothing is far in Tortuguero. Clean and comfortable with a fully shaded patio which was SO welcomed during the heat of the day. Would book again for any future trip.

Una casita hecha para descansar. Mucha naturaleza alrededor, incluso pudimos apreciar un par de Lapas. La casa tiene espacios amplios aunque solo tenga un cuarto. Muy ordenado y limpio.

C'est un logement très confortable dans un joli quartier de Venecia et proche de plusieurs sites d'intérêt que nous n'avons pas eu le temps de découvrir étant sur place <48h. De même nous n'avons pas eu le temps de profiter du joli extérieur. parfaitement conforme aux photos. Les lits et le canapé et fauteuils sont très confortables. La cuisine moderne et bien équipée. Bref, un logement moderne et confortable, décoré avec goût ou il ferai bon s'attarder plus qu'on a pu faire.
