A fabulous stay of five days - made even better by a spell of great weather and wall to wall sunshine. Beautiful and varied beaches all nearby, from Waipu through to Te Arai. Accommodation layout perfect for family, children and grandparents allowing a bit of separation. Peaceful & private location. Well equipped. Lovely high ceiling living space with excellent indoor/outdoor area. Minor access issue caused by 3 year old swiftly fixed by Sarah with the minimum of fuss, for which we were very grateful.

Such a great house and in a great location! We loved everything about it. It was spacious, clean, and close to the beach. It was a perfect place to stay when in the Snells Beach area. Would have loved to stay longer if we could.

We had a great stay at this awesome home in Mangawhai. Estuary and shops in walking distance and the house had everything you needed and more. Two families got to share this home with ample space for us all. Beds were comfortable and the place was very clean and tidy. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back and stay again.

Loved our stay, was perfect for us and the kids. Great back garden space and close to things for the kids (playground, skate park, beach and shops-all within walking distance) house was clean , tidy , Jonathan was a great host with good communication, would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Beautiful location! The open living plan was awesome for our whanau. Our moko enjoyed the trampoline and riding his bike down the little hill. Bathrooms were super clean and the beds were comfy with clean bedding. The washing machine and dryer were a bonus aswell. Would recommend!

Beautiful spot in Mangawhai, views from the kitchen and lounge areas are amazing. The home was spotless and is the perfect venue for exploring everything that Mangawhai has to offer. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend.

Nice balcony! Love those sand bags for sun bath. Tidy and nice interior. Good location, Highly recommended l. But it seems missing “ No.4 “ on a drive way.

We had a superb stay with Raewyn and Theo at Ripples N Tide Studio. The studio had nice touches for our arrival and everything was exactly as pictured. Despite the weather not coming to the party, we were able to entertain ourselves with watching the bird life at our door step and had the option of a plethora of books available to us, or the short drive into town to have a look around. We really enjoyed our stay and chatting to Theo. Very much recommend :)

Thank you for hosting us. The place was beautiful and perfect for what we needed. Bonus few toys for the kids to play with and bonus perk coffee for us parents in the AM! Comfortable beds and felt very homely. Lovely place and would stay again. Thank you!

Lovely stay, highly recommend Lil's place. The location is awesome, so relaxing, comfortable bed, everything you need for a great stay is provided, love there is a full size fridge, BBQ, washing machine and dryer amongst other essentials. Lil is very helpful and there is plenty of information about walks, where to go and what to see. Being able to walk across the road to the water each day was a bonus and the views from the unit are forever changing as the tides come and go and the sun rises and sets. Some days there are cattle next door at the fence. I highly recommend staying and will return in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay at Phil and Sheena’s place. The apartment was modern with high quality furnishings and it was spotlessly clean. It was in a quiet location but still only a 5 minute walk to the cute pub. We’d highly recommend staying here.

Had a lovely stay here and the views are amazing as you have the choice of making dinner on the barbecue, and enjoy the restful and peaceful surroundings and el fresco dining:-) Easy to stroll down and walk along the beach also.

The photos didn’t do this place justice, John’s home was amazing, bigger than expected and in a great location. The beds were super comfy with high quality bedding and linen. Loved the lazy boy chairs and smart tv which entertained the little ones during the rainy days we had. Beautiful garden and views. Will definitely be back.

Very friendly, very tidy well looked after property

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

My family and I really love Lorraine’s dream home,everything is perfect, far beyond my expectations.The location is the best, it’s just a stone’s throw away from the beach, and there are lots of lovely bistros and a great supermarket here, you can get all the things you need.
