Beautiful place in Matakana. Really central so location is perfect. We enjoyed our walk to the markets on Saturday morning. The place was clean, lovely decor, smelt beautiful and was exactly as described. We would have no hesitation to stay again. Thank you!!

We loved the unique venue. Great decor and very well thought out as to what was needed for your stay. The traffic noise is loud from the passing cars but we had expected this due to the other reviews. But a delightful weekend away with great things to do locally.

Lovely stay, highly recommend Lil's place. The location is awesome, so relaxing, comfortable bed, everything you need for a great stay is provided, love there is a full size fridge, BBQ, washing machine and dryer amongst other essentials. Lil is very helpful and there is plenty of information about walks, where to go and what to see. Being able to walk across the road to the water each day was a bonus and the views from the unit are forever changing as the tides come and go and the sun rises and sets. Some days there are cattle next door at the fence. I highly recommend staying and will return in the near future.

The house was perfect for the five of us. It has lots of space, the hosts were very generous with the condiments and the space was light, comfortable and really clean and tidy. The wi fi was also brilliant!. While the house is nice and peaceful it is a short drive to the shops and about 10 minutes from the beach. We didn’t find this a problem and Leone and Mark were awesome to deal with.

What a fantastic place. The setting is spectacular and the location is unbeatable. A real touch of kiwiana.

We loved our stay at Anette's place. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, and has a friendly homely feel. Great shower, a very comfortable king size bed, cosy sitting room and a very friendly cat. It's a very short walk down to the beach and we really enjoyed our evening walks along the walkway. Anette was helpful, and available any time, but otherwise gave us privacy. We would definitely love to come back!

If you have small children this is the perfect place to stay. Andrea could not have provided anything more - everything we could possibly need was thought of. Location is brilliant, close to the beach and about 20-30 mins from everywhere we went. We would 100% come and stay again. One of the most family-friendly places we've been in. Thank you!

We stayed for a long weekend and loved the house and the location. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s even better in person, especially the amazing views! The house was a short walk to the beach and The Cove cafe. It was very clean, tidy and well appointed. The host was very flexible and accommodating which was appreciated. I would highly recommend and would happily stay again.

Nice accomodation, the host was great to deal with. We made a last minute booking and they were very accomodating and ensured everything was in order for arrival. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome stay, we absolutely loved it, just wished we had longer. The place was perfect for us as we were attending a wedding just around the corner. Lots of thoughtful little touches, that were really appreciated. Immaculately presented and felt immediately at home, awesome communication and appreciated the flexible arrival and departure time. Had an amazing stay at Harveys place. Location was perfect, really close to the marina and other beaches for surfing, even extra surfboards left out for guest use, the longboards really made my trip after the Stick lady at Auckland to Whangarei airport wouldn't put my longboard on the plane! Harveys above and beyond air BNB service made my trip!
