We loved the little space we had for ourselves Although it is busy with workers right behind our space which means no walking around naked 😅 but hot tub and grass patch was exactly what we needed for a quick getaway And it is still somewhat private and definitely feels peaceful Maybe an AC for hot summer days would be great We loved it and would recommend

The Kliphuisie provided us with a cosy, safe haven during our friends' wedding festivities at Olive Rock. It is a pity that we couldn't spend more time on the farm with all the wedding activities. Next time we will definitely have a braai!

Absolutely idyllic spot with beautiful views of the mountains and vineyards. Even though the house is cozy in size, the open layout, windows, high belongs and spacious surrounds made everything seem open and airy. Hildegard and VH were warm and gracious hosts. My children were even able to go up to the main house and feed the chickens. Lovely splash pool for when it got too hot.

We loved our stay on the farm! It is better in person than in the photos! Beautiful cottage, very comfortable with everything you might need and more. The cottage is spacious and private. We will be back, hopefully for longer next time.

Kirsty was an amazing host! The property was perfect with everything we needed. The whole estate is so well kept. The rusks were delicious. I didn’t bring the correct adapters for the hairdryer and within minutes of me messaging her she produced one! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much. You should be very proud of such a fabulous property.

Awesome cottage in beautiful surroundings. Quiet and great for star gazing with no light pollution. Inverter to cover loadshedding. Very helpful hosts.

Loved every minute spent at Kim’s place. The fresh veggies received and other goodies was such a great welcome. Geraldine was available anytime for anything needed. The pizza oven is a great touch as well as the Kol Kol. Will be back soonest I hope. The house is STUNNING

We stayed in the Kingfisher Cabin at Vrolikheid Landgoed in Tulbagh. Our host Ané was organized and kept us well-informed about everything we needed to know before arrival. Our cabin was super clean and comfortable and beautifully designed and decorated, to enjoy a peaceful, quiet and relaxing stay. We had everything we needed. When we arrived, there was already firewood in the braai and fireplace and hot tub, with a firelighter blitz already in place, making it very easy for us. Waking up for the beautiful sunrise with a coffee and sitting on the wooden deck, enjoying the views and trees, mountains and stunning landscape was unforgettable. Being summer, the weather at midday got quite warm, but we were so grateful for the cabin air-conditioning, which made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the night sky light up with shining stars! Something out of a storybook! The hot tub was wonderful. We had a very peaceful, relaxing and restful experience. Amazing!!!

We (a family with 2 young kids) spend one night at the Almond Cottage III and we were so happy with our choice. It was kind of a stopover because the drive from Plettenberg to Cape Town was too long for the kids, that's why we made this stopover in Swellendam. It's a lovely town and the estate is situated about 10 minutes out of town. It's so quiet, calm and peaceful. There are 3 cottages, but each has its private space and even its own fire place. I loved the design of the interior with floor mats of a local artist. Really lovely and much attention to detail. We also ordered their grace boxes which were fantastic. The cheese platter was in the cottage in the evening when we arrived. The breakfast boxes were delivered at 8 am to the cottage. The food was amazing with lots of variety! I can only recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, lovely place.

We needed a place that was close to the town center but also offered the peace and quiet of country life, as our family was in need of a well-deserved break and wanted to relax. Hermien’s place, Riverstone Cottage, provided everything and more. Everything was picture-perfect and comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered. We highly recommend Hermien’s place and will definitely return to stay here again.

Während vier regnerischen Tagen waren wir in Franschhoek. Genau bei dieser Witterung ist es sehr angenehm, wenn man eine luxuriöse Unterkunft wie das Saddelbrook Cottage gebucht hat. Wir haben das stilvoll eingerichtete Cottage sehr genossen. Es ist alles vorhanden, was es für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt braucht. Ein gutes Restaurant ist in Gehdistanz erreichbar.

What a memorable time we had! The views are magnificent and made our long walks worthwhile.The beds were so comfy! We really enjoyed family time around the fireplace during the evenings. The kids had fun cooling off at the private pool during the day!... but the cherry on top was most definitely those breakfast baskets!

A fabulous property superbly kitted out. Super comfortable and a delight to stay in. Great local restaurants and every amenity possible in the house for nights in. We had a simply fantastic week.

The accommodation is completely as described, even better! We spent two months here with a big group and it was great! Hanna and her husband Petre are very attentive and willing to help, they even built an awning for our cars so they wouldn't get hot in the sun. Great gym and workouts right on the property. The surrounding area is very quiet and beautiful, especially Kogel Bay beach and the road to it. Everything was very cool!

We really enjoyed our stay at Diana and her two dogs Kolbe and George. Location is superb, close by to Stellenbosch city centre and wine estates.

Beautiful home in an amazing location. Felt right at home - house is just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street to feel very private but all within walking distance of anything you need. Jan was a great host and so was Eric who looked after us very well. Will def be back for future trips.

We had a great stay at this beautiful home. Everything you need is available and well thought out. We did have a power outage which was in the entire area for one of the days we were there. Other than that hiccup, we loved our stay. Host was very responsive. Wish we could’ve met them. Maybe next time.

The house is very comfortable and perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The garden is secure with lovely lawns for the kids to play. Carin is very friendly and showed us around the farm. The setting is wonderfully peaceful and private. The kids loved all the animals!
