Wildekrans is absolutely beautiful. The gardens are spectacular, and the cottage is beautifully and tastefully designed and decorated. The two bedrooms are nicely private from each other with en-suite bathrooms in both, with the shared kitchen in between. It is delightful sitting on the porch looking out onto the gardens and mountain vistas ahead, either with morning coffee or an evening drink. The swimming pool was surprisingly warm and inviting. Everything we needed we had! We will definitely be back!

Excellent accommodation for 4 in a perfect location for walking to Franschoek main St. All very clean and plenty of kitchen equipment and crockery. The property is tucked behind the owners' house on Van Wuk St and isn't obvious. It is up a drive behind two wrought iron gates. A sign on the gates saying Jonquil Cottage would have helped no end.

A clean, quaint place to stay. Peaceful and surrounded by beautiful mountian views. Has all the basics. Very close to Franschoek town. Lovely host.

Lovely overnight stay. Gisela's place is exactly as pictured and described. She was always very quick to respond and very helpful and friendly, providing us with a very warm welcome. Definitely at the top of our list if we're ever back in Worcester. Thank you!

Perfect peaceful location. Lovely rooms and great outdoor spaces. The host recommended Boschendal just down the road for the night market, which was awesome.

Perfect quiet spot, lovely stay, extremely accommodating host! My husband was hurt during our time away, and we were offered an additional night at no charge, my first time ever!

It's a small but nice place with 'soul' and a beautiful terrace with fireplace. It's located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The walking distance to the beach is short but you need to cross a road with some traffic. Marinda is a great host and you need to try her lovely self-made sweets :-)

Relaxing family weekend getaway ☀️ Beautiful home. We walked, took our row boat out on the dam, made yummy food and napped with our little one. Thanks for having us Philna. We loved it here.

We spent two nights only but enjoyed our time very much. It was spacious enough for the two of us, super cozy and comfy, everything available to prepare a simple dinner, wifi to get some work done, hot shower after a hike (or pool to cool down) and lovely garden and patio to relax with a glass of wine. Safe car parking included, fan was provided,… we were more than satisfied.

Nestled in a charming small town with convenience stores and restaurants just minutes away, it's a great blend of tranquility and accessibility. You will be surrounded by nature and the sweet sound of birds chirping, it truly felt like a retreat. Thank you Anabela, for going the extra mile to make our stay so memorable. My husband and I loved every moment and our little fur baby had the best time too! The home is beautifully kept and has everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay. We would 100% recommend it and can’t wait to return!

It was great finiding a place that would accommodate us for one night. This place was perfect for a quick stay and we stayed comfortable. Communication was super clear and check-in was seamless! The aircom was also such a welcomed amenity in the scorching hot Robertson. Thank you for having us.

Ricky's place was very clean and well equipped. The location was great for me. It was easy to find and host communicated well. I loved the modern feel and interior design. One thing I missed was a freezer but was not a big deal. I would love to stay there again.

My fiancé and I had a brilliant stay here. As one always says, the photos don’t do it justice, well this was really the case here. The space was immaculately clean and spacious with all the amenities we could have possibly hoped for. Communication with host was brilliant, they were warm and welcoming and went above and beyond. The location is also great and only a 10 minute drive from the most beautiful wine farms Stellenbosch has to offer. Would definitely be back if we visit again.

Hannelie en Deon zijn hele lieve mensen die het hun gasten erg naar hun zin willen maken. Ze hebben een fijne accommodatie, rustig gelegen. Ze hadden allerlei nuttige tips voor ons wat betreft uitstapjes. En we hebben heel erg genoten van hun gezelschap! Dankzij hun hebben we kunnen genieten van onze eerste Afrikaanse Braai tijdens een gezellig samenzijn.

Dit is een prachtig verblijf voor 3 personen, in een mooie tuin met eigen toegang. Het huis ligt in een villawijk met bewaakte slagboom bij de hoofdweg. Praktische ruimte met alles wat je nodig hebt en fijn tuinzitje en ligbedden. Vanaf hier snelle toegang naar winkels, kust, vliegveld en binnenland.

We had a fantastic stay in Franschhoek. The cottage is within the garden of the main house and is furnished extremely tastefully. Absolutely everything has been thought of and executed to perfection. It’s an extremely cosy space with an exclusive boutique hotel feel to it. The garden is even better than the pictures, it creates a really tranquil environment around the cottage. Communication with Cate and Carien was excellent. The cottage was spotless when we arrived and then Carien came daily to make it perfect again. She even did a load of washing and ironing for us! We felt extremely well looked after. There’s a dedicated electric gate and parking spot which made it easy for us to come and go. The main road with all the shops, restaurants and art galleries is less than 5 mins walk away. We had a fantastic dinner at Reuben’s restaurant which is about 2 minutes walk. This has to be the best place to stay in Franschhoek for a couple. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks Cate!
