Stunning house, incredible host and support when needed. Had a door sticking on arrival, and Hanel had a locksmith around within 30 minutes to fix it and make our stay more comfortable. The location is great, beach across the road is stunning for swimming. We really enjoyed our time in Gordons Bay and this beautiful home.

This was a truly fantastic home and stay - so beautifully designed and very functional as a home away from home - the house was comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed for a memorable stay. Communication was easy and very helpful with the host. Drinks in the garden were memorable. Thank you, Julia, for everything.

Spacious house in an ideal location! The house is in a secure estate and close to everything you need in terms of shopping, food, wine farms etc. We particularly enjoyed the amount of space with our young children. The trampoline, lake and beautiful views made our stay extra special.

We had the most magical weekend getaway and could not have asked for a better experience. This place is completely off the grid and surrounded by nature—an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy absolute peace and tranquility. Uncle Steve made our stay unforgettable with his warm and welcoming nature. His deep knowledge of the area truly brought the experience to life. The complimentary game drive was such a highlight and it was so much fun! We learned about the area, discovered ancient rock art, and even had the chance to get up close to giraffes. No photo can truly capture the beauty of this place… 🤩 Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, from the freshly baked homemade bread, gin, and chocolates to the wood-fired hot tub, which was ready for us to hop in as we arrived. These thoughtful touches made our stay even more special. And the stargazing? WOW! Thank you so much to Uncle Steve for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return! 🐾

Beautiful cottage on a beautiful farm. We were welcomed with a freshly baked bread and milk from the farm. Elzette was a wonderful host and we had a wonderful stay with them.

We enjoyed our stay at Rene's place. My son loved the shower! The kitchen was well equipped (for 2 people). The area is beautiful and easily accessible. Rene was amazing and answered all questions quickly and went the extra mile to accommodate our needs. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gerrard's place. His co-hostess was friendly & helpful as was he. The area was clean and safe, very close to all amenities, walkable distance from the Strand beaches. It was literally our own holiday home for the week. Stunning back garden area with pool, and the trampoline was a huge win for our 2-year-old son. The separate patio/braai area was cordoned off from the pool with a little picket fence which made us feel safe with the pool (although we still needed to keep an eye on the child). Great conditioned Webber original braai, and a front driveway garden area with swing and place to ride the baby bike (under supervision as open to road). Thanks Gerrard, we would recommend and stay here again. Very close to Stellenbosch and Gordons Bay. Pics very accurate.

We would definitely stay here again! The location among the vineyard was really quiet and nice. The cottages are situated close to each other but still private. Each bedroom had an en suite bathroom with a rain shower and lots of space. The furniture and beds were comfy and cozy. The braai areas were great and the wood fired hot tub was such a treat. Shout out to Lourens for the wine, he’s clearly a talented winemaker with an excellent sense of the craft and has a bright future as a representative of South Africa’s wine scene on the international stage. Lizelle was a great host and was tolerant of all my questions. The entire territory was quaint and there were two hiking trails and even a canoe and SUP by the river. Book here. You won’t regret it.

The most perfect location with serene views and peaceful surroundings. Everything you need is right there, a small river flowing past the house to swim in, beautiful and easy walks through the vineyard and the best of all a hot tub anytime you want it! The cottage is cute, clean and many amenities available to use. Will definitely be back at this location.

Although only there for 1 night, we really enjoyed our stay and found everything catered for, beautiful views and well thought out place to stay. Thanks and will come back as soon as possible

Had such a lovely stay. The accommodation was amazing, loved the interior. The location was very easy to find thanks to the directions provided and it was beautifully situated.

Great setting and very professional and proactive host with regards communication.

We loved the stay at the 'green' cottage. Lea was super friendly and helpful with checkin and any advise on activities to do around the area. Our 2 year old was in heaven listening to the lions roaring from the neighbour's animal sanctuary, after dark. Lea kindly allowed us to drive through their farm to view the Zebra and Eiland, 4x4 probably recommended. The cottage was clean and kitted out for our short stay. A braai under the closed verandah made a rainy night magical. we hope to be back.

Wie mussten wegen einer Lebensmittelvergiftung leider kurzfristig stornieren und konnten deshalb nicht in die wunderschöne Unterkunft von Dorita einchecken, die Kommunikation war aber sehr gut und Dorita war sehr hilfsbereit freundlich und entgegenkommend bei der Stornierung. Danke Dorita und wir hoffen sehr dass wir eine zweite Gelegenheit in deiner atemberaubenden Unterkunft in Zukunft haben werden.

Very friendly homestay with amazing views. Peaceful and quiet with a lovely big yard. It is surrounded by a picturesque countryside with beautiful views across the valley.Location was beautiful and there was lots to do nearby. We were able to contact Amelia and Jacques easily and they were very helpful; from restaurant & activity recommendations to use of the cottage amenities. We had plenty of room for two adults; two kids & two infants. Just what we need to get away from the hustle & bustle of city life.A very beautiful & spacious cabin; we will certainly be going back as there is so much more activities and wine farms we left without visiting.

The White House was a perfect weekend getaway from the city and exactly the technology and cell phone detox needed! Totally accessible by normal car as clearly stated by the host - the property is beautiful to walk around and well marked. The house itself had everything needed to cook, clean, braai, relax and everything in between. The hot tub was amazing to sit and relax in and watch the stars go by at night! Reminder to bring bug spray though! Was amazing to wake up in the morning with the blinds up and see the landscape. Will definitely be back!

Spent 3 nights at this truly mesmerising cottage. From the absolute clean cottage that makes you miss nothing from home to the peaceful surroundings. You are truly immersed in nature. Location is 10/10. I cannot wait to go back

A friend and I needed a few days to get away and relax. This was the perfect place for us. Quiet and serene. We enjoyed walking a bit and the swimming pool was so nice on a hot day. The house and kitchen are well set up and the lounge furniture is very comfortable. Great care has been taken to make sure that guests are very comfortable!
