Self-catering Cottage in the suburbs of Swellendam, equipped with solar power and a back-up generator so you are never in the dark. For those who have a love of animals, then you'll love your stay. Our resident donkeys, sheep & chickens will happily greet you, and when in season our towering pecan nut trees will drop their gifts for you to pick up & enjoy. If Dolittle is booked, look at Doless which is right next door & identical other than colour of décor, or book both for a group getaway.

The large entertainment stoep is a must see ! Wifi: a stable 10Mbps line is included.

Walking distance to the nearest supermarket, the town centre and restaurants, Fernkloof Nature Reserve as well as Langbaai, Kammabaai and Voelklip beaches along the coastal path across the road right in front of the house. Two cosy semi-detached mountain cottages stand by side, with spectacular views over the surrounding koppies and mountains just 2.5hrs drive from Cape Town. You can even enjoy the views directly from Queen bed, through the romantic glass-steel French doors. Outside a huge deck and braai area is perfect when the weather is pleasant (almost always). While snuggly blankets, hot water bottles and a crackling indoor fireplace make sure Starry Starry Night is a true year-round destination.

Treyntjes Rivier Cottages are about 9 km from Caledon and 25 km from Hermanus. The cottage offer accommodation for up to 5 guests. The cottage consist of 2 bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom with a king size bed, the second bedroom with 2 single beds and a sofa bed in the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped and the living area offers couches, TV and WIFI Braai facilities are available in the garden. Please note: no day visitors are allowed

Potato Patch Self Catering Cottage

This versatile thatched roofed cottage offers contemporary country comfort with a dash of history. It is one of the two cottages located on the owners property offering its own entrance and private garden. During winter, when you might even encounter snow on the mountains, your very own baby Godin wood burner makes sure you are toasty warm. In summer, guests are invited to use the recently built pool. A five minute walk will get you to the village center.
