Lovely and well kept, Heleen was super as a host, the location was amazing with clever architecture to hide from the wind and still enjoy the clear nights and days.

Enjoyable, restful weekend, with everything you need at the venue. Good views of the river and very quiet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is situated in what seems to be a small valley. We used our time to walk into several directions including the rock pools and the bokmakierie trail. You have to walk this one as it takes you very high above the surroundings and gives you beautiful view all around. We regularly went to do our own game drives on the designated roads as we didn't had a 4x4 but still with a vehicle with high clearance. We saw a lot of Springbok, Gemsbok, Eland and Bontebok. We also did a bit of bird watching at the main dam early in the morning. The rest of the time just lounging around of course. The host was very responsive of our needs and questions. We would definitely be visiting Drie Kuilen again.

We fell in love with the village of Stanford and the soul restoring River Home. This beautiful house is right on the river's edge and is a real treat (and retreat) to stay in. Just the place to surrender to nature, listen to the birdsong, rest and restore. We loved walking along the delightful river path. A short walk into the centre of town will bring you to several delightful restaurants. We ate at three of them (for lunch at Madré we enjoyed a really good pork belly with crispy skin and vegetables, at La Trattoria we had a feast of authentic Italian food and Agteros has a menu full of delightful South African dishes done with a modern twist). We also brownsed in some delightful homewear and gift shops. If you prefer eating at home, the kitchen at River House has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. It is spotless, has a great gas hob and electric oven and a dishwasher for cleaning up after.

Beautiful and peaceful location. The highlight was the family of peacocks, very lovable ginger cat and chickens. We loved our stay and the perfect break-away!

Die Unterkunft ist schön und er Ausblick auf die Berge und See wirklich toll. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen, sodass man wirklich abschalten kann. Susanne ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin.

If I could give Elzette a 10* I would! This cottage is heavenly. I absolutely loved it. The location is stunning and her attention to detail is second to none. Even had fresh farm milk in the fridge. Would have loved to stay longer!

Clare was an amazing host and her home a perfect stay. Beautiful views and intimate setting to enjoy quality time with friends and family. Indoor and outdoor braais, many bedrooms and a lovely terrace area. Everything was clean and read for us on arrival. I can't recommend it enough!

We really enjoyed our stay at Melanie's Place! The view, and location were stunning! The recommendations of where to go and what to do, as well as restaurants from Melanie were spot on! The bathroom amenities really smell good, and we were treated with Nescafé Coffee also! Overall top notch!

Our favourite stay in the western cape. We adored Sharon’s place, nestled in the valley overlooking the Babilonstoring mountain. We found both adventure and peace here, with the accommodation providing a slice of luxury and home comforts whilst bike and hiking trails at the door and Hermanus only a short drive away. Derek made sure we saw the best of the area by taking us on a MTB ride. Hosts were super helpful and friendly, making us feel right at home. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

My family and I were blown away by Napier and the accommodation at Jenni's place. When we saw the pictures, we thought we were getting a simple stop over apartment, but the pictures don't do justice to what we were greeted by. The apartment is very spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. Jenni and Peter went out of their way to make our kids comfortable as well. There is an amazing sense of peace when staying at this apartment in Napier. Thank you Jenni and Peter.

What a location!!!! With the mountains on one side and the lagoon on the other with the beach just in sight. The place is small but incredibly functional and has absolutely everything one needs and more. The beds, pillows, linen and towels are 5 star. And even though one’s neighbours are very close, it was very, very quiet. Thank you for having us - we loved our time there.

The airbnb is in such a beautiful and peaceful location. The bed was very comfy and the hosts had lots of small touches to make the stay unique.

We really enjoyed our time at the cottage. it was quiet and peaceful but close enough to all major sites and lots of restaurants. The cottage is well furnished and has more than everything you could need for a shor or long stay. The garden and patio are well furnished and make for a relaxing chill spot after a long day of sightseeing. Our pets were also well accommodated for and had a wonderful time playing in the garden.

Kyle was a fabulous host. Very clear instructions, friendly and quick to respond. Beautiful apartment with large balcony and sea views. Kyle had thought of all those little extras you need, washing machine, iron, shower gel etc. A very comfortable and clean stay and just a short stroll to all the restaurants, shops that are right by the sea. Would highly recommend this accomodation.

I absolutely loved my stay. The farm is so scenic and peaceful. The cottage is much bigger than it looks on the photos. It had everything I needed and was very comfortable. There are loads to see and do. Especially if you love birds. Beautiful and easy walking trails. Perfect to break away. The hosts are kind, helpful and passionate about the farm.

What a privilege to stay here! The scenery were breathtaking! The bed in the master bedroom slept like a dream! We had everything we needed. You would not be disappointed!

We had such an amazing surprise when we arrived at Berry Guest Farm - Raspberry cottage. We had booked as a last minute break and due to the responsive host had just gone straight ahead without getting too much info. What a treat when we arrived with our 4 children. The farm is a child’s paradise with activities - from amazing zip lines, canoes that are free to use at any time, fishing, waterslides, warm pool, night time child friendly hikes with UV torches… the list goes on, but the plus is that the scenery and nature of the place makes it paradise for adults too. Surrounded by spectacular mountains, and a short distance from nature reserves with hikes, waterfalls, mountain trails and wildlife, well we were just spoilt for choice! We had no idea that the small airbnb we had booked offered all this and we will be sure to return with friends to book a few of the cottages and maybe even camp on the campsite. Note: the campsite was very close to the house but noise wasn’t an issue

We had a really wonderful stay at the cottage. The view from the balcony is so amazing 😍 And the cottage itself is full of art and character. Really feels like a proper home which my husband and I prefer over the more soulless Airbnb's we stayed at in the past.

Hemel op aarde, wat een heerlijke cottage op een prachtige en rustige plek. Op de tuin route een fijne afwisseling tussen diverse hotels. We genoten van het uitzicht, de rust, natuur maar ook alles wat het huisje te bieden had: goede bedden, fijne airco, de braai. We hebben 1 avond van de braai genoten en de andere avond heerlijk gegeten bij restaurant Blue vines, aanrader. Mochten we ooit weer in de buurt zijn, komen we zeker terug!!

The charm of Frog Mountain extends beyond the landscapes—it’s in the horses grazing peacefully, the cows wandering the fields, and the symphony of beautiful birdsong each morning. Swimming in the river was a refreshing delight, and every corner of this place felt like a gift to the soul. We are deeply grateful
